Chapter 597 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 82
Inside the bus, everyone was still playing the rhyming game Gabriel had started, but Lester noticed Rachel sitting next to him. He saw the smug look on her face disappear in an instant.
Lester chuckled coldly and turned away, not looking at her again.
What was supposed to be a simple rhyming game became increasingly difficult because Brent and Lester were deliberately using obscure words that were hard to follow.
This little game managed to pass over an hour quickly. The live chat was buzzing with various comments, discussing each person's personality and more.
However, since they were on the bus today, the energy wasn't as high as the first day. Although the show's popularity had been consistently high since it started, today's engagement wasn't as strong as the first live stream, with slightly lower numbers.
After receiving instructions from the producer, the director spoke up after a moment of silence on the bus, "If anyone has any specific requests for Mantanani Island, feel free to share. You all know the conditions on the island..."
"As long as there's enough to eat," Brent cut in.
Marshall laughed, "That'll depend on your skills."
"What do you mean? I still have this ten-dollar bill in my pocket. Can't I even buy two packs of instant noodles?" Brent quickly pulled out the ten-dollar bill and waved it around.
Marshall shook his head, "Even though the island has scenic spots and a shopping market, the area where the show is set is closed off. You can't access the market. For supplies, food, or anything else you need, you have two options: either catch your food from the sea or complete tasks and games to trade with the show. We've prepared plenty of supplies, but the tasks will be related to fishing."
"So this isn't a travel show at all. It's more like a wilderness camping and survival show?"
Marshall raised an eyebrow, "You could see it that way."
Brent felt an even stronger urge to smoke.
"So, Ms. Jenner, with such harsh conditions, what do you think? Whether you choose to stay in the villa or not, we're all in the same tough environment. You might as well enjoy a couple of nights with Mr. Harriman," Brent said, tilting his chin up.
Jessica smiled and replied, "We've all been together for so many days now, from strangers to friends. The team spirit has to be there, right? How could we sleep in a villa while you all sleep in caves? If we're sleeping in caves, we should all do it together."
Clayton laughed, "Mrs. Harriman is loyal!"
Lester whistled, "I just wonder if everyone can handle the hardship. I grew up by the sea, so if you need any help on the island, call me!"
They chatted a bit more until they reached a highway rest area. Those who needed to use the restroom did so, and those who needed to buy things went shopping.
However, the show didn't allow them to bring too many obvious items to the island. The things they bought at the supermarket earlier were already packed in their luggage, and the director had turned a blind eye to it. But if they bought a bunch of instant noodles at the rest area, it would definitely be confiscated.
So, everyone just bought some water and light snacks and returned to the bus.
After getting off the bus, Gabriel and Jessica waited by the bus for the other guests to return. Jessica gently nudged Gabriel's arm and whispered, "Feeling a bit guilty?"
