Chapter 480 Jessica's Husband!
This place was at the innermost side of the lotus pond veranda in the backyard of the Jenner Estate. Normally, no one would pass by here. More importantly, everyone in the family was over there with the dying Donald now, all keeping an eye on the ever-volatile Washington business district. Who would come here to notice a few kids playing around?
The three girls shouted for a long time but no one came, only a tall, handsome man walking through the door that Jessica had just kicked open.
Seeing that it was a man, they immediately cried out pitifully as if they had found their savior. "Help, help! The eldest daughter of the Jenner family is hitting us..."
However, the particularly handsome man remained unmoved, as if he hadn't heard anything, completely indifferent and extremely aloof.
Jessica didn't look towards the door, nor did she care if Gabriel was present. She couldn't suppress her anger , looking down at the three girls crying in the snow. "I especially hate those who bully others the most. With good appearances, you behave badly when you are young, and you won't be good people when you grow up. Arrogant thugs! Do you know why you came to the Jenner Estate today with your parents? Out of respect for the Jenner family, you can finally be here.. Your parents have to respect the Jenner family. If they know you are bullying someone in the Jenner Estate, what do you think would happen?"
"She's not from the Jenner family. Even though her name is Rebecca, her mom is just..." a girl said in a low voice.
"It doesn't matter who she is. As long as she's been taken into the Jenner family, her last name should be Jenner, she's part of this family. No matter how thin her relationship with her relatives is, you are not qualified to bully and scold her." Jessica looked down coldly at the girl in the middle. If she weren't a few years older than these kids, she would probably be on top of them, scratching and clawing without caring about her image.
What she regretted most was appearing too weak when she was young in the Jenner Estate, constantly being bullied by Trinity and her mother. She should have fought back; she should have resisted!
The weaker you appear, the more people would press you down, making even struggling a cautious act.
Seeing the little girl named Rebecca crouching in the corner, taking the beating and scolding, it made her angry, burning away her reason.
If these kids weren't so young, she would have beaten them all up and handed them over to their parents.
"You even know to bring someone to a place where no one notices. You know that if you were caught, you wouldn't get any benefit." Jessica looked down at them and said, "Do you want me to personally take you to your parents? Where are they now? By Donald's side? Or in the Jenner Estate's front hall?" Jessica asked.
As she spoke, she took a step forward and reached out to pull the girl in the middle up.
The girl was so scared that she quickly backed away, but still looked defiantly at Jessica. "Jessica, you're Donald's granddaughter, but aren't you also an illegitimate child? You have no right to be arrogant. Even if facing the elders, it won't matter! After all, your mother never officially married into the Jenner family, and she didn't even have a position here! She gave birth to you, and I think you're no different from Rebecca, both bitches... "
Jessica suddenly dragged her over, half-pulled her up, and slapped her.
The slap was so solid that it echoed crisply in the cold, empty backyard veranda.
The other two girls sitting in the snow were scared stiff. Seeing Jessica forcefully throw the girl against the wall and about to slap her again, they turned to the handsome man at the door for help.
"Help, help," they shouted scaredly.
The girl who was slammed against the wall by Jessica was completely shocked, her face was already red with finger marks, even more swollen than Rebecca's.
The girl opened her slightly cracked lips, looking incredulously at Jessica, "You dare to hit me."
Jessica slapped her again.
Jessica looked down at her, expressionless, her eyes cold. "Didn't your parents teach you how to speak?"
The girl's head was thrown to the side by Jessica's slap, her vision spinning, her face burning with pain, accompanied by a buzzing in her head.
She angrily turned back to curse.
Jessica slapped her a third time without mercy.
The girl was thrown to the ground, sitting against the wall, looking up at Jessica in terror.
Jessica squatted down, looking at her with cold, narrowed eyes. "Do you like cursing ? Keep going."
At the same time, she slid her phone out of her sleeve, showing the recording interface on the screen. "I don't mind making it public that I hit you. Do you think I'll be afraid of your complaints? I work in the entertainment industry; I always leave evidence before taking action. Every word and sound you just made will be sent to your family. You bullied a little girl from the Jenner Estate, insulted my mother, and behaved badly. None of it will stay hidden in this little corner of the backyard. Do you really think you can run out and complain?"
The girl looked at Jessica's phone screen, seeing that the recording had been on for a long time. Her face turned pale, and she bit her lip hard, tears streaming down as she looked for help from the man who had been standing nearby.
Gabriel, holding Jessica's knitted scarf, stood at the end of the veranda, watching the scene with apparent interest, showing no intention of intervening.
"Who are you looking at?" Jessica looked down coldly at the girl, nodding towards the corner where the bewildered Rebecca stood. "Apologize to her."
The girl refused to apologize, still seeking help from Gabriel, mouthing the words. "Help me..."
However, the tall, handsome man in the iron-gray coat, under the hopeful gazes of the three girls, suddenly walked over, casually took off his coat, and draped it over Jessica. Then, with patient, steady, and gentle movements, he put the knitted scarf around her neck. "Put on your clothes before teaching someone a lesson, don't catch a cold."
The three girls looked at Jessica, then at the indifferent man, suddenly made sense, their faces instantly filled with terror.
He was Gabriel, Jessica's husband!
