Chapter 642 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 127

Gabriel squeezed the empty water bottle in his hand, his eyes drifting over to the volleyball court. "How'd you do?" he asked in a deep voice.

"Not bad. I didn't go all out, just played a bit and then came over to watch you play basketball," Jessica replied, her eyes sparkling with admiration she could barely contain.

Back in school, Jessica had spent most of her time at a dance academy, rarely interacting with boys outside of her teachers. Later, she had studied abroad, and upon returning home, she mostly mingled with people in the entertainment industry.

The kind of thrill she should have experienced in her school days, she was only feeling now.

No wonder teenage girls are so obsessed with boys who are great at basketball.

Even though Gabriel was well past his teenage years, with looks like his, it didn't matter if he was twenty-nine or forty-nine—he could still captivate countless women.

A treasure!

How lucky had she been to drag this treasure back home from the edge of a cliff?

Noticing a strange emotion flicker in Jessica's eyes, Gabriel glanced down at her and said, "Judging by that look, you're not thinking anything good. What's on your mind?"

Jessica quickly composed herself. "I was thinking how regretful it would be if you weren't my husband."

Gabriel chuckled, raising his hand to pat her head gently. His deep voice sounded right above her, "You're overthinking it. You're destined to be my wife for life."

"Mr. Harriman, the next game is about to start," a staff member called softly from under the sunshade.

"Are you staying to watch? Don't you need to go back?" Gabriel asked, turning to look at Jessica, who was still standing there.

"I don't need to go back. I already spoke to them," Jessica replied.

Gabriel gave her another look, then suddenly grabbed her wrist and led her to the shade where the staff were. Making sure she wouldn't be exposed to the afternoon sun, he turned back to the court.

Nearby, Isaac whispered enviously, "Mr. Harriman is really something... As someone who loves details, I adore him!"

Jessica laughed, glancing at her. "Do you secretly wish he would start acting in TV dramas?"

Isaac quickly waved her hands in fear. "No way, I wouldn't dare think that. If Mr. Harriman appeared on screen, one soulful look from him would make half the audience faint. Ms. Jenner, you better keep him hidden. Don't let him come out and charm us all, or there'll be chaos!"

"Is it really that exaggerated?"

"More than you can imagine. Mr. Harriman is like an angel sent to redefine our standards for men!"

Jessica was speechless.

That was definitely an exaggeration.

Saving her standards was enough.

She thought jealously.

Maybe she really should keep Gabriel hidden.

Jessica continued to think jealously.

She hadn't felt this jealous before, but today, it all hit her at once. Gabriel was truly handsome from every angle, and everyone could see it!

The game was in full swing. Clayton, Kevin, and Lester were unusually united in blocking Gabriel. No matter how well Gabriel played or how fast he dribbled, being constantly intercepted by three people made it hard to find a chance to shoot. Finally, when he managed to score a three-pointer, a sudden scream and exclamation erupted from the female spectators.
