Jessica nodded, "Yeah, everyone's been wiped out lately, and it's normal to feel a bit emotional. Tonight, you and Lester should crash in the bedroom upstairs and get some solid sleep. Tomorrow, we'll all give it our best shot."
With that, Jessica smiled and walked past Rachel, heading out.
Rachel paused for a moment, realizing Jessica had suddenly shifted the topic. She quickly turned to say something, but Jessica had already walked back into the living room.
She saw Amy and the others had finished their showers and were standing by the sofa, chatting while combing their hair with a wooden comb.
"Debra's cooking lunch today. We can split the seafood into two types: one with salt and pepper and the other spicy. This way, everyone can enjoy it, whether they like spicy food or not," Jessica said as she walked over. "Also, tonight we'll lay out the sleeping bags on the carpet and sofa in the living room. We weren't planning to use the upstairs bedroom, but Rachel mentioned she's been really tired and not feeling great, so let's let her and Lester use the bedroom. Does anyone have any objections? If not, let's go with this plan, okay?"
"Whatever works. We're lucky enough not to be sleeping in a cave tonight, thanks to Ms. Jenner and Mr. Harriman. Sleeping on the carpet or even the floor is way better than a cave," Clayton said, coming out in clean clothes. He instinctively reached for a cigarette, but his pocket was empty.
Brent noticed immediately and nudged him, whispering, "There are cameras rolling. Hold off for now."
"I know, just a habit," Clayton chuckled.
Rachel quickly walked over, "No need, we'll sleep with everyone else."
Lester, who hadn't been in the living room, came downstairs upon hearing this, "What do you mean, sleep together?"
Rachel gave him a look, but they hadn't been on good terms lately and were in a cold war. Lester didn't catch her meaning and just looked around, puzzled.
Rachel smiled again, "Ms. Jenner, we're all equally tired. It's fine for us to be the same."
"Yeah, suddenly getting special treatment can be awkward, especially if it leads to tension between people," Amy said, putting down the comb and glancing coolly at Rachel.
Jessica chimed in, "Amy."
"Got it, I'll be quiet," Amy said, picking up the comb again and heading into the kitchen to find something to eat.
"Ms. Jenner, I didn't mean it that way," Rachel's face paled slightly.
"No worries, Amy's young. Neither of us should take her words to heart, right?" Jessica smiled and glanced at Rachel before suddenly looking around. "Where are the other two?"
Clayton pointed with his chin towards the back of the villa, "Kevin and Mr. Harriman went to get something from the director. Not sure what the director has planned, but he asked for two people to help carry things, so they went."
"Gabriel and Kevin?" Amy poked her head out of the kitchen, looking surprised.
Jessica was also quietly taken aback.
Gabriel and Kevin were civil during the filming days, but there was underlying tension due to past issues involving her and now Amy.
It's quite surprising they went out together.
