Chapter 717 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show

Once Gabriel was settled, he didn't wait for Jessica to react before taking the reins from her hands.

Jessica never expected Gabriel to plan on sharing a horse with her. Caught off guard, she found herself pulled into his embrace.

Since the saddle wasn't designed for two people, Gabriel adjusted her position to avoid discomfort, lifting her so that she was almost sitting on his lap.

Jessica had filmed many period dramas with horseback riding scenes, but this was the first time she was sharing a horse, and with her husband Gabriel, no less.

The other guests, already mounted on their horses, first cheered and then noticed Jessica's face turning red in an instant.

Seeing Jessica's rare moment of fluster, Gabriel held her securely in his arms. He glanced at her blushing cheeks, then pressed her baseball cap down to shield her face from the others. With a professional squeeze of his legs and a flick of the reins, the tall horse began to move forward steadily.

The group rode to the starting point. Not everyone was experienced with horses, but the horses in this forest park were well-trained and wouldn't easily throw their riders after being fed and familiarized.

As everyone started to get into the groove, Jessica discreetly tapped Gabriel's hand on the reins. Thinking she wanted to hold the reins, Gabriel took her hand and placed it on the reins, holding her hand in his.

They had been married for a while, and had shared more intimate moments, but this was their first time being so close on horseback.

Especially with their colleagues around, who were all riding solo. Gabriel, however, seemed perfectly natural about sticking close to her, while Marshall didn't dare to intervene.

"How come I never knew you could ride a horse?" Jessica asked as they prepared to set off.

Gabriel patted the horse's mane with one hand and squeezed Jessica's hand with the other. "Focus, we're moving."

As soon as Gabriel finished speaking, Jessica heard a deep, pleasant command from behind her. The tall horse surged forward, not at a reckless speed like on TV, but definitely not slow.

If she had her own horse, she could control it, but now she was completely in Gabriel's grasp, her back pressed against his chest, surrounded by his warmth and presence. The bouncing of the horse made her feel a bit awkward, and she tried to shift forward.

Noticing Jessica's genuine discomfort, Gabriel waited until they had ridden a good distance before tilting her baseball cap to the side and looking down at her with a low chuckle. "What's wrong?"

Jessica rolled her eyes at the clear blue sky and muttered, "Move back a bit, don't stick so close to me."

Gabriel paused for a moment. Jessica thought he might actually move back, but instead, he realized what she was concerned about. She felt a deep laugh rumble from his chest against her back.

Jessica's face grew even more uncomfortable. She glanced around and saw the others still racing ahead. Brent, in particular, seemed determined today, his tall frame on a small pony that surprisingly kept up a decent pace.
