Chapter 661 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 146

"Since we both have feelings for each other, we should figure out how to make this work," Kevin said, looking down at her. He reached out and touched the wall beside her, turning on the touch-sensitive light.

The small space was suddenly flooded with brightness. Amy squinted instinctively, then slowly opened her eyes and looked up at him.

Seeing the fear in her eyes, Kevin chuckled, "I've already made the first move by standing here in front of you. Show me the same energy you had when you first got back to the States, running around in front of me. What are you scared of?"

Amy awkwardly raised her hand to shield her eyes from the light. After a moment of adjustment, she said, "It's not fear."

She thought for a moment, then lowered her hand and looked up seriously, "Kevin, my feelings are real, and my respect for you is genuine. I both love and respect you, so I respect your choice. If you don't like girls like me, I won't bother you anymore. But if you..."

Kevin raised an eyebrow and gestured towards her lips, indicating that his actions earlier were quite clear. Why was she still saying these things?

Amy paused, then coughed lightly. "So, you were serious earlier?"

As she asked, she stared directly into his eyes, afraid to miss any hint of insincerity.

Kevin looked at her and decided against teasing her further. He didn't want her to get more nervous, but she didn't seem truly nervous. Instead, she was more meticulous and cautious than he had imagined.

Initially, he thought Amy was too young, and even if her feelings were genuine, they might not last over time. He intended to teach her to handle the relationship more maturely and steadily once they were together.

But clearly, Amy had thought things through more deeply than he had anticipated.

Kevin stood upright in front of her, his gaze serious and clear, allowing her to discern his true thoughts and emotions.

"Amy, I'm serious," he said softly, looking into her eyes.

Amy looked at him, then raised her hand as if to touch him. As Kevin instinctively lowered his head to let her touch him, Amy suddenly withdrew her hand and touched her forehead instead. She closed her eyes and muttered, "I must be dreaming or having a fever. This can't be real. No, I need some fresh air. I need to step out. This dream is too unreal."

She abruptly changed from her serious demeanor and started fumbling for the door handle in a panic. Just as she grabbed it and was about to open the door, Kevin, amused and exasperated, held her back. Leaning close to her ear, he said gently, "Don't be silly. Let's talk properly."

"No, it's too sudden. I can't process it," Amy said, covering her burning ear and trying to escape.

Kevin chuckled softly and held her hand that was fumbling with the door handle, "Let's give each other time, Amy. I'm serious, not joking. You know my personality. If I say it, I mean it."
