Chapter 667 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 152
Jessica rarely visited Gabriel's office, and when she did, it always seemed to coincide with his lunch break. She would end up joining him in the company cafeteria, experiencing the office lunch routine.
In reality, Jessica understated their situation. Despite their separate work lives and having a child at home, their daughter Danielle was doted on by Michael every day. They had to ask permission to bring her home, so it didn't cut into their couple time.
Danielle was always well-behaved and went to bed early, never causing any trouble.
However, Jessica and Gabriel's affectionate moments at home were private matters, not something to boast about.
"But Amy says Ms. Jenner and Mr. Harriman are always together in private," Melissa said, giving Amy a look. Amy smiled, but when she met Jessica's gaze, she quickly composed herself, pressing her lips together to suppress a laugh.
Jessica was speechless.
She had worked hard to maintain a professional image, not flaunting her relationship. Gabriel, however, was scrutinizing her with a look that seemed to say he wanted her to spill the truth.
Jessica shot Gabriel a look, signaling him to stop staring.
He knew her so well, yet here he was, pushing her to be honest.
"We're an old married couple with a kid. Let's not make this about us," Jessica said, nodding towards Melissa and Brent. "You two brag about your takeout, and now you're teasing me? Everyone here is in a real relationship. Our lives might be ordinary, but our feelings are genuine, right?"
As soon as she finished, Amy, who had been about to join in the teasing, suddenly looked nervous. She half-covered one eye and glanced at Kevin, thinking he wasn't watching.
Kevin had stopped strumming his ukulele and was tuning it, occasionally producing a pleasant sound. Hearing Jessica's words, he looked around at everyone, then calmly met Amy's gaze.
Realizing he was looking at her, Amy quickly covered her eye again and stood up, pretending nothing had happened. "I'll go boil some water," she said, grabbing the pot and heading out.
As Amy left, Melissa turned to Kevin. "What did you do to our Amy? She used to be so lively, and now she's all shy."
Kevin set down his ukulele and chuckled. "She won't even look at me now. How could I bully her?"
"Aren't you her idol, her favorite?" Melissa said, glaring at him. "If you don't make a move, someone else will. I heard the new guests coming soon are a guy and a girl. If they find out Amy's single and one of them likes her, you'll be in trouble, Mr. Martinez."
Kevin glanced at Amy's retreating figure and sighed with a smile. "Got it. I'll try."
Jessica turned her gaze to Gabriel.
Gabriel, unaffected by Kevin's words, gave him a calm look. Kevin met his gaze.
