Chapter 705 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 190

After Gabriel finished everything, he left the hotel to grab some breakfast. When he came back, he passed by the main entrance where the security cameras were, and the front desk staff heard the bell chime, so they remembered the time he went out and came back.

The scene then shifted to an hour later when the chef entered the kitchen.

Since this was a reality show with a crime scene setup, the murder scene was depicted using 3D animated models. As the chef started preparing breakfast, he noticed a backup breakfast menu in the kitchen. He reached for the nearest and most convenient juicer, but somehow, he lost his grip, and the juicer slipped and fell into the sink.

The chef quickly picked up the juicer, but it seemed he still couldn't hold it steady. It was unclear whether there was some allergenic substance or lubricant on it. After struggling for a while, he finally managed to set the juicer aside, only to find that the ingredients he had prepared the night before in the microwave were missing. Hesitating for a moment, he was about to check the trash can below when he took a step back.

That step caused him to slip on the water that had just splashed onto the floor, possibly mixed with some subtle lubricant or dish soap, though no traces of these substances were visible at the scene.

The chef fell backward, hitting a folding table against the kitchen wall. The table snapped open, and the chef's back landed heavily on a sharp knife, causing a deep wound that led to his death from excessive blood loss.

The guests were silent for a moment after watching the entire scene.

In reality, when a case was revealed, it often turned out to be quite simple. This was just a small simulated case for the show, not a complex mystery.

No one suspected Gabriel because he had no apparent motive for murder, and Marshall wouldn't have given such a script to the only non-celebrity, Gabriel.

But it was this unexpected twist, combined with the straightforward plot and the show's design, that added a subtle thrill for the audience.

Melissa clicked her tongue, "Taking on such a lousy script, Mr. Harriman, blink twice if Marshall forced you into this."

Jessica, still resting her chin on her hand, said, "Is the script really that bad? But it still got zero votes."

The guests were speechless.

Regardless, the budget was destined to go into Gabriel's pocket!

"The main reason is that no one expected it to be Mr. Harriman," Cindy shook her head. "I almost suspected Clayton myself. He's been so conspicuous these past few days."

"Maybe I caught it from Brent," Clayton said, crossing his legs.

Brent, also sitting with his legs crossed, chuckled and turned to Gabriel, "So, since the script is already this bad, what was Mr. Harriman's motive for murder?"

Gabriel pondered for a moment, then looked at Marshall, who had forced the script on him the night before, and said with a blank expression, "Because I love my wife dearly, and the chef traveling with us has been slacking off for days, causing Jessica to not eat properly and hurt her stomach. I held a grudge."

The room fell silent once again.

This time, the silence lasted two seconds longer than before.

Then, everyone burst into laughter.
