Chapter 654 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 139
Amy clutched her phone with a mischievous grin and winked at Jessica. "Don't worry about what I'm planning. Just leave it to us."
"Us?" Jessica glanced at Amy and then at Melissa, who was standing nearby.
Melissa nodded at Jessica. "Yep, leave it to us."
Jessica was speechless.
"Don't mess around, you guys," Jessica warned. "The production team probably has confidentiality agreements and other clauses, right? Like ensuring the show is enjoyable and presenting a positive, friendly image to fans and viewers. We've just started recording, and it hasn't even aired yet. If we cause a scandal online, the higher-ups might shut us down, and we'll all be held responsible."
Amy gave Jessica an okay sign. "Relax, it'll be super harmonious and positive."
With that, she put her phone away and stood up. "I'm going to freshen up. We'll talk after breakfast. Let things simmer for a bit."
As Amy cheerfully headed upstairs, Jessica turned to Melissa, who was gazing enviously at Jessica's long hair. "Ms. Jenner, does Mr. Harriman often help you blow-dry your hair at home?"
Jessica was taken aback and instinctively replied, "Sometimes. He's usually busy with work, and I travel a lot for my job too. We're all in the same boat, not like regular couples who come home together every day. When we do get the chance, he helps me out, and he does the same for our daughter."
"I'm so jealous!" Melissa sighed, resting her chin on the table and looking up at Jessica with wide eyes. "My Brent, that jerk, always acts cool and says he loves me, but he never pays attention to the little things. It's the simple, everyday gestures that are the most lasting and genuine."
Jessica chuckled. "Everyone shows love differently. Brent is more outgoing, while Gabriel is calm and reserved. It's partly personality and partly the circles we move in. Brent's always in the spotlight, and the entertainment industry demands more showmanship. His energetic nature suits that."
"True. Mr. Harriman isn't in our industry; he's a top businessman surrounded by sharks. If he were as flashy as Brent, he'd be eaten alive." Melissa propped her chin on one hand and looked at Jessica. "But don't you think Mr. Harriman is a bit too mature? Clayton and Brent are out getting fishing gear, Mr. Martinez is helping in the kitchen, and Mr. Harriman is outside working out with Maurice."
Jessica glanced out the window and saw Gabriel stretching with Maurice. She smiled. "He gets along with everyone in our group. He probably saw Maurice alone and didn't want him to be bored."
Melissa clasped her hands under her chin. "Mr. Harriman is so wonderful. Jessica, I'm envious of you."
Then she quickly added, "But it's just envy. I'm not like some people who want to stir up trouble."
