Chapter 325 It Must Be Possible

If  the account was just from fans who'd only be mindlessly praising and wouldn't attach such long texts every time they reposted something about Trinity.

Especially the incident between Trinity and Jessica a few days ago. This account angrily reposted multiple times and even shared posts from Jessica's studio on Instagram. It wasn't to curse but to repeatedly emphasize that the dance was performed by Trinity. It claimed to have worked on the set back then, praised Trinity's acting skills and character, and said they had seen Trinity dance with their own eyes—just a bunch of lies.

After a quick look, this account also followed Sunroy Group and Eugene on Instagram. All the comments and attention went beyond what a normal fan would be involved in.

It was undoubtedly Trinity's alternate account.

In the attic, Imogen sat down as soon as she entered the bedroom, her face pale with anger.

Kimberly quickly poured her a cup of hot coffee. "Mom, calm down. Grandpa Michael isn't targeting you. It's probably because we've been abroad for too long and have become somewhat estranged. He might be instinctively siding with Jessica because they've been close recently. Everyone present today was family, no outsiders saw it, and it was just a few arguments. No one will take it to heart, so don't be upset."

Imogen didn't speak, feeling extremely down.

Kimberly stood by her side for a while, then gently placed the hot coffee next to her hand and suddenly said, "Actually, it was my fault earlier. I shouldn't have brought up such an unpleasant topic."

"It's not on you. Without your mention, I wouldn't have known the real Jessica." Imogen sighed deeply and patted Kimberly's hand to comfort her.

Kimberly, looking shy, continued, "To be honest, I was very curious about Jessica, so I woke up early today and looked up some information about her online. I found out that she's a celebrity in the entertainment industry and that her family doesn't like her. She might be an illegitimate child. It seems like there's no record of her in the Jenner family's household registration, so she probably is an illegitimate child."

"What? An illegitimate child?" Imogen looked up in disbelief. "She's not in the Jenner family's household registration?"

Imogen took a deep breath, stood up, and started pacing back and forth. "Michael is really confused. How can he let someone like that into the family?"

"I'm not sure, but if she's not in the household registration and even her own father doesn't acknowledge her, what else could she be but an illegitimate child? The Jenner family has always publicly acknowledged only one daughter, Trinity. And Jessica recently had a fight with Trinity on a live variety show. So, whether she's an illegitimate child or not, the Jenner family members are not simple people. Now that the Jenner family is in trouble, there are a lot of messy issues."

Imogen's forehead throbbed as she listened. She turned to leave, but Kimberly quickly stopped her. "Mom, where are you going?"

"I need to talk to Michael. I absolutely won't allow Jessica to marry Gabriel. How can my son marry such a woman? Even if they're just dating, it's unacceptable. Gabriel is too indulgent with her. If this continues, he'll definitely marry her. No, absolutely not!"

"Mom, don't be hasty. We can investigate Jessica's matters slowly. Right now, Grandpa Michael is protecting Jessica in every way. We need to make him give up on her first. Otherwise, whatever you say to him will just get you scolded. You've never been treated like this in all the years we've been abroad. Now, because of Jessica, you're constantly being reprimanded by Grandpa Michael. Please bear with it a little longer."

Imogen looked at Kimberly, feeling a headache coming on. "Michael knows all about Jessica's family issues and still accepts her. How can he give up on her?"

"Perhaps if we dig a little deeper, we might uncover more secrets about Jessica?" Kimberly suggested. "It's getting late, Mom. You should rest and not stress over this. Your health is important."

"You're so sensible." Imogen sighed deeply, closing her eyes, feeling very anxious.

Jessica's contract termination process was temporarily handed over to Attorney Anderson from Harriman Group. Anderson was a key figure in their legal department, handling tough commercial cases and long-overdue bad debts for various companies every year with ease. He was Harriman Group's resident lawyer and also the manager of the legal department. Although Gabriel didn't get involved in Jessica's matter again, Landon understood Mr. Harriman's intentions and recommended Anderson to Jessica.

Since Jessica posted that contract termination statement, her name stayed in the trending topics for several days.

Star Entertainment hadn't responded yet, and neither had her agent, Cherry. However, Cherry was getting roasted by Jessica's fans and various onlookers in the comments under her Instagram post announcing herself as Jessica's agent.

After all, Jessica had been with Star Entertainment for so long and had never considered terminating her contract. Now, because of a new agent, she suddenly wanted out. It was obvious that this agent had a big problem. Moreover, Jessica's attitude before and after clearly showed that she didn't get along with this agent. If there was a conflict between an agent and an artist, it was the agent's fault, and they would naturally be criticized by the industry, fans, and onlookers.

Attorney was also very skilled. After Jessica publicly announced the contract termination online, he immediately released the unfair contract between Jessica and Star Entertainment in other ways. First, he posted a version with the confidentiality clause pixelated, and then he posted a clear version with the pixelation removed using software. This created the impression that Jessica didn't disclose the confidentiality agreement and kept its contents confidential. However, with advanced internet technology, someone with ill intentions could spend some money to remove the pixelation and see the original image, which wouldn't be Jessica's responsibility.

As a result, by the third day, Star Entertainment and Cherry hadn't caused any trouble for Jessica and seemed to have disappeared.

Attorney sent Jessica court documents outlining all the terms of the contract termination. Jessica initially thought the best outcome would be to reduce the  millions of penalty fees to ten thousand dollars, the lower the better.

But in the documents and terms provided by Attorney, not only did she not have to pay any penalty fees, but Star Entertainment also had to return the advertising fees they had secretly deducted from her for Tilans and other recent months. After reducing the penalty fees and repaying the secretly deducted advertising fees and unreasonable taxes, Star Entertainment actually owed Jessica over a million dollars.

She was astonished and replied to Anderson on WhatsApp.

Jessica: [Can all these demands be met? Will Star Entertainment agree to this outcome?]

Attorney: [Absolutely.]
