Jessica and Marshall had signed a six-month variety show contract. Recently, Marshall was invited to be a guest performer on another ongoing talent show to boost its popularity by appearing in the final episode.

Mackenzie said, "She hasn't danced seriously in years, and she just got out of the hospital a few days ago. I wonder if her body can handle such intense practice."
Lynn replied, "Whether she can handle it or not, the contract is signed. She must have her reasons for suddenly deciding to sign this six-month variety show contract with Marshall. There must be other connections between her and Marshall behind the scenes. Otherwise, how could she almost retired from the industry suddenly participate in so many variety shows?"
Mackenzie nodded. "Marshall is a high-status figure in Washington. He has access to many things beyond our reach. It's probably related to the Jenner family and Mr. Harriman. Jessica waved her hand. "I'm fine."
Marshall told the contestants to practice next door and walked over. "Jessica, I'm really grateful you could help. You've practiced well enough. Take a break."
Hearing Marshall's words, Jessica turned to look at him, took a few deep breaths, and sat on the ground. After a few more breaths, she asked, "Is Aaron coming back this afternoon?"
Marshall handed her a bottle of water. "He can't miss the Manhattan Construction project tomorrow, so he'll definitely be back in Washington by this afternoon at the latest."
