Chapter 676 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 161
Since it was a greeting for all the guests, everyone politely nodded to acknowledge each other.
But Elise immediately started smiling warmly at Jessica, which made Jessica take a closer look at her. With her years of experience in the industry, Jessica could tell Elise didn't have any malicious intent, but she couldn't quite understand the gleam in Elise's eyes.
After the introductions, everyone headed back to the hotel to rest, as they had an early start the next day.
Jessica turned and followed most of the group towards the hotel. Cindy, who was naturally hospitable, went over to help the new guests with their luggage and chat a bit, making them feel welcome.
After chatting with the two newcomers for a bit, everyone entered the hotel, got their room keys, and headed upstairs. Cindy's room was close to Jessica and Gabriel's.
As they were about to open their doors, Cindy suddenly gave Jessica a look. Gabriel saw it but didn't say much, signaling Jessica to go ahead and chat while he took their luggage inside to unpack.
Jessica turned and walked over to Cindy, who pulled her close and whispered in her ear, "Hugo and Elise were classmates, but they're not that close. They just worked together on a short drama that got a bit popular, and fans shipped them as a couple. I chatted with them a bit earlier, and they seem really nice, kind of like Melissa and her husband—easygoing and innocent. They should be easy to get along with."
Jessica nodded, "As long as they're easy to get along with. We have ten more episodes to shoot together."
"Not just easy to get along with. Elise was asking me all about you," Cindy said mysteriously, pulling Jessica's arm and whispering, "She didn't dare talk to you directly, but she was clearly excited to see you."
Jessica was puzzled, "What do you mean?"
Cindy chuckled, "She's a fan of yours."
Jessica was taken aback, "What?"
She glanced at Cindy, who was standing very close to her.
Cindy couldn't help but laugh, "On the way into the hotel, Elise was trying so hard to contain her excitement and act like a friendly new colleague. It was hilarious. She said she was both excited and nervous to see you."
Jessica hesitated. In the industry, it wasn't uncommon for newcomers to claim they were fans, but it was usually just polite flattery.
But thinking back to Elise's demeanor when she greeted her...
It did seem genuine.
"So should I find a chance to greet her?" Jessica suddenly felt unsure about how to interact.
After all, she wasn't particularly familiar with the mindset of fans, especially since they were now colleagues.
She didn't think she was particularly worthy of fan admiration. If Elise were just a fan, that would be one thing, but Elise was also a colleague, a graduate from a prestigious university, and might even become more famous than her someday.
But how could she shamelessly greet her as an idol?
She really didn't know how to handle this.
"Don't do that. She's already nervous. Just act normal when you're around her. If she seems a bit tense or overly excited, just pretend you don't notice. Don't be too surprised," Cindy said, still laughing. "She told me she's afraid of being too nervous around you, wants to talk to you, but is scared to. It's really cute."
