Chapter 640 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 125

Gabriel was unusually serious, while Brent was buzzing with energy, ready to sink a few more three-pointers and crush the competition.

But their three opponents were just as fired up.

Clayton and Kevin exchanged a knowing glance and moved closer to Gabriel, while Lester kept an eye on him to prevent any shots, also trying to guard the nimble Brent.

The ball landed in Gabriel's hands again, and Brent, a few feet away, waved his hands, signaling for a pass.

The three opponents were on high alert, watching Gabriel and Brent closely.

Gabriel dribbled the ball slowly twice, giving no hint of his next move, then suddenly faked a shot.

Lester lunged forward to block, but in a split second, Gabriel changed the direction of his pass, sending the ball towards Brent.

Brent leaped high, caught the ball smoothly, and began dribbling around the defenders, dodging them skillfully. Just as Kevin moved in to intercept, Brent suddenly shouted, "Hey, Mr. Harriman, catch!"

Clayton and Lester instinctively rushed towards Gabriel, while Kevin, seeing through the ruse, smirked and stayed focused on Brent.

Brent raised an eyebrow at Kevin. "So, you're not guarding Mr. Harriman, but me?"

"Just missed the timing earlier. Doesn't matter who," Kevin replied with a grin, his movements quick and ready to block Brent.

Brent glanced at the scoreboard. "One minute left, one point difference. Getting nervous?"

Kevin neither confirmed nor denied, wary of Brent's tricks.

Seeing Kevin's relentless defense, Brent knew a shot was unlikely. He spun, dribbling behind his back, and as Kevin lunged, Brent lowered his gaze and called out to Gabriel. After two feints, he jumped, but instead of shooting, the ball was swatted away by Lester, only to be caught by Gabriel, who broke free from the defenders.

Lester glanced back and noticed the first half was almost over. He shouted, "Thirty seconds left, block him!"

Jessica, though not a basketball player, could follow the game. She watched as Gabriel calmly dribbled, his eyes steady on the opponents charging at him.

Twenty seconds left!

Brent and Gabriel's team was only one point ahead, and the lead could vanish any moment.

Even though it was just the first half, the intensity was palpable.

The three defenders were locked on Gabriel, their faces serious and drenched in sweat. They were enjoying the fierce competition. Even the usually composed Kevin had rolled up his sleeves, determined not to give an inch.

"Mr. Harriman, bring it on!" Clayton taunted.

Lester watched Gabriel's every move, not daring to blink.

"Beach basketball is definitely tougher than the stuff I did back in the day," Gabriel remarked, a slight smile on his lips as he faced the wall of defenders. "Come at me all at once."
