Chapter 619 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 104

Jessica's message must have been too obvious, as Gabriel raised an eyebrow slightly and glanced at her, continuing to fish calmly as if nothing unusual was happening on the beach.

But his face clearly showed his refusal.

Alright, she thought, it would be too much to expect Gabriel to strip down and join the others in the water. First, she didn't want Gabriel to be ogled by those ravenous female fans, and second, it just wasn't in line with Gabriel's persona.

Jessica had thought that Gabriel had already broken quite a few of his usual habits while accompanying her on the show these past few days. But it seemed that while he doted on her, Gabriel still had his limits.

Initially, everyone was at the beach completing tasks, trying to catch the most fish and seafood as per the director's game rules. But it eventually turned into a bunch of guys taking a sea bath and giving an impromptu "seafood gathering tutorial."

Clayton had asked the director for a bag of salt, saying they would use the seafood they caught to pay for it. The director agreed and had the staff give it to him.

In no time, Clayton used the bag of salt to gather dozens of razor clams, various sea snails, starfish, and small octopuses on the beach. Some were alive, some were dead, but all were clean, clearly washed ashore by the sea.

Clayton and Cindy's spare bucket was already full, so they borrowed everyone else's spare buckets to hold the rest.

The competitive spirit had shifted to everyone eagerly anticipating a seafood feast for lunch.

Following Clayton's lead, a few male guests continued to run into the sea, shirtless, and dug out numerous oysters of various sizes near the rocks further out.

"My God, there are oysters too?" Lester was practically drooling. He had started by digging for razor clams with Clayton but now ran over to join in the oyster digging. However, his technique was off, so he didn't gather much.

Marshall, worried, kept urging the two lifeguards standing by the crew, "Keep an eye on them, make sure they don't go too far. Ensure their safety. If the waves get too big, have them come back. It's too dangerous."

He then turned to the producer and said, "When editing, make sure to put a big warning saying 'Dangerous behavior, do not imitate.' We can't have teenagers trying this at the beach."

Marshall was genuinely concerned about the male guests' safety. Mantanani Island wasn't a shallow area, and this part was separated from the tourist zone, with less comprehensive safety measures.

Fearing a big wave might cause an accident, the producer and Marshall called for them to come back.

Brent, who was enthusiastically digging by the rocks, shouted, "What about the bag of salt Clayton got? If we give it all to you, what are we supposed to eat?"

The producer exchanged a glance with Marshall, who smiled and shouted back, "Fine, you can keep the salt. We don't need it. Just come back! It's not safe!"

Brent had been waiting for this. He whistled to Lester, and the two of them headed back to the shore to join Clayton in digging on the beach.

"Wow, there's so much already?" Jessica leaned in to take a look, amazed that Clayton had even managed to catch small crabs.

As the group discussed how to cook the seafood for lunch, Jessica's mouth was practically watering. She turned and ran back to Gabriel, who was still calmly fishing. "You don't need to fish anymore. I think they've caught enough to eat. The competition's over, and you can just talk to the director."
