Chapter 660 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 145

Later, Amy and Kevin kept things professional, but it didn't take long for everyone on the crew to notice Amy's fangirling over him.

Everyone was used to the "crazy" girl on set. They all knew she was a huge fan of Kevin, and every time she got to do a scene with him, she'd be bouncing around with excitement after the shoot.

Whenever this happened, Kevin would always say, "Nice job," with a mix of helplessness and amusement, then walk away without much more interaction.

But because her acting skills weren't quite up to par, the director was pretty worried. Kevin ended up giving her some tips on acting and how to control her emotions for the role.

She even organized fan support for him within the crew, which Kevin found pretty annoying. He didn't like that kind of stuff, especially since they were colleagues.

Over time, Amy got a good sense of what Kevin liked and disliked.

When she first joined the show, she was thrilled, thinking that just being around him every day, even if it was just as a fake couple on the show, would be enough.

But after Jessica had a talk with her, even though it wasn't harsh, Amy realized she'd been chasing after him one-sidedly for way too long.

She never thought about whether she was causing him any trouble.

So in the days that followed, she started to hold back a lot.

She even tried to avoid Kevin as much as possible outside of their necessary on-camera interactions, not wanting to bother him or get too close.

But then, suddenly, things changed.

Hadn't he always disliked her childish behavior? Didn't he prefer mature, non-childish women?

Seeing Amy leaning against the door after calling his name, unable to regain her composure, her eyes unsure whether to look at him or somewhere else, but everywhere else was just as dark, and looking at him was just as dark, with only a faint, unclear outline of Kevin in front of her.

Kevin, as if afraid she would remain so tense, moved his hand from behind her neck and gently placed it on her shoulder, softly patting her, "Amy, I rarely call you by your stage name because from the moment you appeared in front of me, you were just an overly naive kid. You shouldn't use a stage name you got abroad to package yourself as an idol. This industry isn't suitable for you. I've seen a lot of your true self."

He spoke gently, "Maybe I'm being narrow-minded, always thinking you're too young, but you're already nineteen, almost twenty. In the U.S., twenty is even the legal age for marriage. I don't have the right to call you young. I'm just not sure what kind of affection you have for me. Is it a temporary infatuation, or a lifelong commitment, the kind that can last forever?"

Amy's lips trembled, and suddenly her eyes reddened in the darkness. She whispered, "Both kinds, I have both kinds of affection."

Kevin's lips curved slightly, and he leaned in a bit closer. Even though his hand was just on her shoulder, it suddenly made Amy feel a sense of intimacy and heat, making her face flush again.
