Chapter 595 Sweet Extra of Couple Variety Show 80
Brent and Melissa held hands for a while, but Brent's craving for a cigarette kicked in. They were live streaming on a bus, so he couldn't smoke, making him restless.
He suddenly tugged Melissa's hand and turned around, raising his voice, "Hey everyone, our show keeps saying we're broke. We couldn't afford to fly to Majestic City, so we're stuck on this bus until midnight. That's like six or seven hours. Are we just gonna sleep the whole time? Isn't that too boring?"
Everyone was already half-asleep, but Brent's loud voice made them open their eyes and look his way.
Jessica, leaning on Gabriel's shoulder, glanced back and saw Brent looking wide awake, clearly not able to sleep during the day.
"So what do you wanna do?" Lester opened his eyes, turned to look at Brent, and then stretched lazily, clearly bored.
Clayton, who was in the back row, was also woken up by the noise. He turned around and said, "It is a really long ride."
After speaking, Clayton suddenly sat up and shook his arms, saying, "Marshall, can you set up a game for us? These variety shows always have little games to pass the time."
Marshall was supposed to be in another vehicle, but since Gabriel was on this bus, he decided to join the group along with a few cameramen.
Hearing the suggestion, Marshall hesitated for a moment before saying, "Are you sure you don't want to sleep? When we get to Majestic City tonight, there won't be much time to rest. The island's environment is pretty harsh, and you won't have time to sleep there. Are you sure you don't want to catch up on sleep now?"
"Well, I'm not tired right now. Are you guys tired?" Brent asked.
There wasn't much response, but Clayton had already sat up, clearly finding it uncomfortable to sleep on the bus, but also too bored.
"I didn't plan for this since it's a last-minute ride, and we're live streaming. I didn't arrange any games, but you can improvise," Marshall said, leaning back in his seat with a smile.
"Do we have any props?" Brent asked.
Marshall looked around and saw that the prop master wasn't on this bus, so he shook his head.
Seeing that Marshall really intended for everyone to rest during the ride and didn't plan any activities, Brent immediately suggested, "What are people watching online these days? We can't play outdoor games on the bus, so let's play some indoor games. What are the popular ones now?"
Cindy suggested, "How about Pictionary?"
The bus fell silent for a moment, and then everyone laughed. "We don't have any paper, and it needs to be clear enough for the camera to capture."
"Without props, it's pointless to suggest anything," Brent sighed.
"If nothing else, we could play Last Letter Game," Melissa said.
Brent complained, "Isn't that a bit childish?"
Melissa glared at him, and Brent immediately shut up. Then, with a grin, he continued, "Last Letter Game, it works. Melissa's suggestion is great."
The other guests on the bus were speechless.
Jessica thought the conversation was about to end, and everyone would go back to sleep. She leaned back on Gabriel's shoulder and closed her eyes, ready to nap.
But Brent, eager to please Melissa, started the game, "I'll go first. Let me think... I'll say, 'Showstopper!'"
