Chapter 76 Remember to Change the Color Next Time
Until he returned the shampoo and withdrew his arm, Jessica remained stiff, standing straight. Her gaze fell on the shampoo in his hand. Everything she said was purely instinctual "Yes, that's it."
Jessica was puzzled. She instinctively took a step back, but the man kept approaching her until she was backed against the wall. She started to despise her own actions now that she couldn't move freely.
If this man really had any malicious intentions towards her while she was defenseless, he wouldn't, what was she thinking?
Jessica was still lost in thought, as if her brain had crashed. The man's deep and seemingly smiling voice sounded from above her head"What other thoughts do you have?"
Jessica suddenly snapped back to reality and saw the gradually accumulating smile in the man's eyes. It seemed like he rarely smiled, especially in such an obvious manner.
Suddenly, the showerhead, which she didn't know when it returned to his hand, was turned on directly by him, and water gushed down on her head.
Startled by the unexpected rush of water, Jessica quickly closed her eyes and desperately spat out water as she moved forward, angrily shouting, "Spencer! Just you wait!"
The man showed no fear, and he turned the showerhead to its maximum, pouring water down on her head. Jessica leaned against the wall, afraid to move her neck, and could only tightly shut her eyes while trying to hold her breath. She continued to spit out water from her mouth, raising her hands in frustration and attempting to resist, but it was ineffective.
It was not until her hair was rinsed clean did Gabriel hand the showerhead to Jessica, who was still confused and leaning against the wall, her face wet.
As he turned around, his gaze passed over her without a trace, and he walked towards the bathroom door, leaving behind a sentence that couldn't reveal the emotions but had a slightly hoarse tone: "Next time you bathe, remember to change the color of your clothes."
Jessica still hadn't snapped back to reality. It wasn't until the man's figure had disappeared into the bathroom that she looked outside blankly.
What color clothes did she wear?
It seemed like she had been wearing this particular one since last night, and she had been idle all day today, not paying attention. She couldn't look down at any time, and she herself didn't pay attention to the color of her clothes.
Jessica reached out and touched her body, lifting the hem of her nightgown to see. The nightgown was white.
When she lifted it up, she could even see her fingers clearly through the soaked hem.
She had many nightgowns, pure black, light yellow, light green, sky blue, light pink, indigo.
Only one was white.
And right now, she was wearing it.
Jessicawas speechless.
Help, she felt so embarrassed that she couldn't face it!
"Uncle Spencer, what's wrong with Mommy?" Danielle sat on the sofa, and when she saw Jessica, who had taken a bath, coming out of the master bedroom with a gloomy face, not looking at anyone, she went straight into the children's room. She felt that Mommy's expression was terrifying.
Gabriel glanced at the children's room door that was heavily closed.
Danielle sensed that Mommy didn't seem to be in a good mood and quickly hugged Gabriel's leg, saying, "Mommy seems very angry. Can I sleep with you tonight, Uncle?"
Gabriel pointed towards the children's room and asked, "Will she agree?"
However, Danielle still clung tightly to his leg and said, "Mommy was really scary tonight. Anyway, I don't want to sleep with Mommy. I want to sleep in Uncle Spencer's room!"
As she spoke, she looked up at him with a pleading expression on her small face, pouting her lips and saying, "Uncle, I can tell you bedtime stories. I can tell stories, you know. Do you want to hear a story about Princess Elsa? Can I go and sleep there?"
Gabriel lowered his head and looked at Danielle, who looked like a miniature version of Jessica. With her big eyes blinking, she tried to win him over with cuteness. He patted her head and said, "Go ahead."
"Okay!" Danielle jumped up happily and quickly picked up the smart doll on the couch, running towards the master bedroom.
