Chapter 103 Holding Hands and Growing Old Together

"Gabriel, what are you doing?"
His pace was so fast that Jessica could hardly keep up.
Moreover, she had no idea why he suddenly took her upstairs.
"You're walking too fast. You haven’t turned off the TV yet. “Jessica said.
Gabriel shouted, and the TV immediately turned off.
Just as they reached the bedroom, Gabriel closed the door, then took her hand and quickly pressed against it.
"I'm a little thirsty."
His dark eyes gazed deeply at Jessica.
"I'll go get you some water."
"No need."
After Gabriel spoke, he lowered his head and kissed her directly.
Jessica's eyes widened in disbelief.
So he hurriedly brought her upstairs, not for anything else but to kiss her.
If she hadn't grabbed his clothes and leaned against the door, Jessica seriously doubted she was already down.
She had never seen this gentle and passionate side of him, which overwhelmed her several times.
However, no matter how lost she felt, there were some things she could always distinguish.
As they parted, Gabriel's eyes turned crimson, filled with desire. His eyes were so straightforward and eagerly expectant. She wasn't a twenty-year-old girl. How could she not understand?
"Jessica."
He rested his head against her forehead, calling out so tenderly.
"Are you still afraid?"
His fingers gently brushed the stray strands on her forehead, tucking them behind her ear.
Then, his fingers landed on her cheek, gently caressing it.
He was so gentle. Everything he did was filled with tenderness.
"I'm sorry. I was wrong before. Don't worry, this time I'll be gentler and more tender."
Jessica lowered her head, not saying a word.
But her face had turned completely red, and she felt extremely embarrassed.
She admitted she had no resistance to him.
Even after he had hurt her so many times, she still harbored so many unrealistic fantasies about him.
She fantasized about what it would be like to date him.
She fantasized about their wedding.
She imagined traveling with their baby.
In short, she had too many fantasies.
She knew she should let go. She should stop loving him, but why couldn’t she?
She thought, 'Jessica, admit it, you love him, love him so deeply, love him without giving yourself any way out.'
When they first met, she thought Gabriel was like sunshine, brightening her world, warming her life, giving her such bright and brilliant hope. Later, he became her redeemer.
Because of this marriage, she broke free from Carter and her previous life of wandering and instability, even becoming Gabriel’s envied wife.
And now, he was like poison.
He had clearly hurt her heart and her body, leaving no part of her untouched.
Yet she was addicted, unable to quit.
"Jessica."
He called her name again, still so tender, and Jessica couldn't resist.
"But I haven't showered yet."
"Let's do it together!"
Gabriel replied that he was already carrying her to the bathroom.
The water in the bathroom splashed loudly.
Steam filled the room, and mist swirled.
Their breaths were hot.
Their hearts were burning.
Jessica had never felt so close to him before, but at that moment, they were very close.
Her head was against his chest, and she could clearly hear the strong, thumping vibrations coming from him.
His heartbeat was clear and passionate.
In the end, she couldn't remember how she got back to bed.
All she knew was that she fell asleep as soon as she lay down.
When she woke up, her whole body felt weak, and Gabriel was lying beside her.
His features were exquisite a high nose, deep eyes, thick black eyebrows -almost flawless in every way.
Jessica looked at him and suddenly felt a sense of peace in that moment.
She seemed to have become greedy.
She started to want more - his indulgence, his tenderness, and most of all, his unique love.
"Holding hands and growing old together." She murmured.
This was the love she wanted most. If possible, she would love to hold his hand and grow old with him!
Jessica's hand gently stroked his eyebrows, tracing them delicately.
In her heart, she couldn't help but think, "Gabriel, you fool."
"You are the person I like. How can't you feel it? You're so silly."
Lost in her thoughts, Jessica suddenly felt Gabriel open his eyes abruptly, slowly saying with his sexy voice, "Are you spying on me?"
Jessica immediately withdrew her hand. "You're talking nonsense. I wasn't spying. I was clearly watching you."
"Is that so?" His voice was slightly teasing.
"Of course."
Gabriel then placed her hand near his mouth and kissed it, asking, "Who do you think is more handsome, me or the actor from the TV series?"
Jessica was about to answer when Gabriel threatened playfully, "Think carefully before you answer, or there will be consequences."
Jessica smiled and replied, "You're both handsome in your own ways."
Sure enough, Gabriel's expression changed.
Gabriel reached out his hand towards Jessica, and then Jessica was laughing and pleading, "You're the most handsome."
"You're the most handsome in the whole world."
"Alright, Gabriel. Stop, my stomach hurts from laughing."
Jessica pleaded softly, and finally, Gabriel let her go.
After breakfast, Gabriel went to work. Before leaving, he suddenly asked her, "Are you staying home all day today?"
"Yes!"
At that moment, Jessica was puzzled.
However, an hour later, when Oscar stood at the door, Jessica finally understood.
It turned out Gabriel had sent Oscar to find her.
"Mrs. Walton, Mr. Walton sent me. He has prepared a small gift for you." Oscar smiled respectfully.
Jessica looked at the various sizes of boxes behind him and asked in confusion, "Are you sure it's a small gift?"
"Yes, Mr. Walton said so. But Mrs. Walton, you'll have to wait a moment for us to set it up."
Need to set it up? What kind of gift did he give her that required such a level of mystery?
"How long will you need?"
"About an hour."
"Okay."
Then Jessica watched as Oscar instructed people to carry the boxes upstairs.
There were so many boxes. She counted about a hundred of them.
Luckily, there were many people that they could finish moving all these boxes quickly!
Jessica went to Study Room Lane to read. She immersed herself in the analysis of a case. Time passed quickly. Soon, an hour had passed.
The door to Study Room Lane rang, and Jessica got up to answer.
"Why are you back? Didn't you go to work?" Jessica was surprised to see Gabriel standing outside with a gentle smile.
"I'm back to help you unwrap the gift!" Gabriel said.
