The bedroom was on the second floor.
Ruby lay on the bed, bloodstains on her neck. She leaned weakly against the pillow, groaning in pain.

"You are my mother. You gave birth to me, raised me. I know we have an inseparable blood relationship, and it's precisely because of this that you can act recklessly and go too far time and again."
Ruby could hardly believe what she was hearing.
She stared blankly, her lips trembling, her face pale, "Quentin, what do you mean?"
"Grace is not an unreasonable girl. I've been with her long enough to know her well. Today, without any notice, you had her forcibly brought here without her consent."
"I don't know what you said to her or did to her that made her resist so strongly, even to the point of holding scissors to your neck."
"But I know you must have been at fault first, or you deliberately provoked her."
Ruby, in a fit of rage, threw the cup on the table.

The whole room was a mess, and Ruby, furious, pointed at Quentin.

"You set up Grace, that's a fact. Including the wound on your neck, if I'm not mistaken, she didn't move the scissors."

"If someone else had set her up and framed her, I wouldn't let them off easily. But you are my mom, I can't punish you, so let me take the blame for you."
With that, Quentin suddenly picked up the knife on the table and resolutely stabbed it into his arm.

Quentin's tall figure walked out.
As he was about to leave, he suddenly turned around, his thin lips curling up, "I know it was Mr. Stewart who caused Grace to get hurt on set. I will get revenge for that eventually."
"But I hope you weren't involved, or our relationship will end sooner."
His figure resolutely left.
Behind him, Ruby bit her lip in anger and made a phone call.
"Prepare the materials immediately. I want Grace's reputation ruined. I want Quentin to completely lose all trust in her."
"Yes, Mrs. Taft, I'll get on it right away."
When Grace woke up, she looked at the chandelier above her head and found it unusually familiar.
