Chapter 534 The Overbearing Jessica
Francis suddenly froze.
At that moment, he even had the illusion that he was her husband.
But he clearly remembered that he wasn't.
"Honey, why aren't you talking?"
Seeing him pursed his lips, Jessica was displeased.
She pouted, acting all cute and coquettish.
That charming demeanor was fully displayed by her.
Francis heard the strong beating of his heart, each beat pounding against his chest.
No matter how hard he tried to suppress and deny it.
He couldn't deceive himself.
Jessica reached out, pinching his cheek like a drunken little woman.
"Don't you want to sleep with me? Baby, look, your daddy isn't considerate at all."
"Gabriel, you don't love me anymore, do you?"
As she spoke, tears started to fall from the corners of her eyes.
A crystal-clear tear instantly dropped onto the back of Francis's hand.
It was so clear that it was hard to ignore.
Then, it was as if a sensitive nerve in Jessica's brain was triggered, and suddenly, she couldn't stop crying.
Grabbing Francis's collar, she tilted her head back and cried loudly.
"Ms. Morgan, I'm not your husband."
"Please stop crying, try to control yourself."
Francis advised.
But Jessica didn't stop; instead, she cried even harder.
Celia would cry too, but never like this.
Francis was at a loss, completely flustered.
Knowing he couldn't provoke her, he could only coax her gently, "You're pregnant, crying too much isn't good for either the baby or your eyes."
"Your eyes are so beautiful, it wouldn't look good if they got swollen."
Jessica suddenly lifted her head, glaring at him fiercely.
"Baby, look, your daddy is such a jerk, he even forgot about us."
"He won't even admit his identity. Tell me, isn't he a big jerk? Shouldn't he be punished?"
"Alright, I'll punish him for you."
Then, Jessica's fists landed on Francis.
Even though she was hitting him, it felt as soft as a feather.
Eventually, she seemed to have cried herself out.
Jessica rubbed her eyes and suddenly looked at Francis with a clear expression. "Sorry, I must have embarrassed you."
"I just had a dream about my husband and couldn't snap out of it."
"It's okay, you can continue resting."
"Alright."
As soon as she finished speaking, Jessica suddenly let go of Francis's neck.
With the sudden release, looking at Jessica who had just been clinging to him, crying and laughing, now lying on the bed as if nothing had happened, he suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable.
He felt a sense of emptiness inside.
'Francis, you need to control yourself.'
'You're out of your mind!
He muttered to himself, quickly closing the door and leaving.
Jessica took a quick shower and then went to sleep.
The next day when she woke up, Francis had already prepared breakfast for her.
The table was full, very sumptuous.
Jessica sat at the dining table, like an elegant and proud princess.
"Francis, I want some milk."
"Francis, I only eat the veggies in the burger, you can have the bread!"
In short, throughout the entire breakfast, Jessica called his name dozens of times.
After they finished breakfast, she suggested going to the beach.
Francis was visibly hesitant, with a look of obvious concern on his face.
Jessica knew what he was worried about.
"You're afraid of running into Celia, afraid she'll misunderstand, afraid you won't be able to explain, right?"
"Since you know, why ask?"
Jessica didn't force him, just asked, "So, will you go with me?"
"We'll go to the northern beach," he said.
"Will you take me on your motorcycle?"
"Alright."
At the beach, the breeze gently blew, and Jessica's soft hair spread out like a waterfall.
Compared to the southern beach, there were noticeably fewer people here.
But there were still some tourists playing around.
The sand underfoot was soft, and the seawater gently lapped at the sand, layer by layer.
Then the water receded, rose again, and receded.
Jessica watched and suddenly moved.
She sat on a bench, wanting to take off her shoes.
The feeling of bare feet on the soft sand must be wonderful.
But her belly was quite big, and she tried several times but couldn't reach her shoes.
At this moment, she looked at the figure in front of her. "Francis, can you help me with something?"
When he walked over, Jessica was sitting on the bench, swinging her long legs.
"I want to walk barefoot on the sand, but I can't take off my shoes."
"It's a bit dangerous to walk barefoot now, you might slip," he said.
Jessica looked up, blinking at him. "But you'll protect me, won't you?"
"I told you, for these three days, you have to serve me wholeheartedly like my husband."
With a sigh, Francis knelt to take off her shoes.
Jessica walked on the soft sand by the sea.
The seawater was cool, gently lapping at her feet with the breeze, it felt incredibly comfortable.
"Francis, this feels amazing."
"Do you want to take off your shoes and try it too?"
Francis shook his head and refused.
Jessica didn't give up, continuing, "But I might fall if I'm alone, won't you come?"
In the end, Francis took off his shoes and walked beside her.
The morning sunlight cast beautiful shadows behind them on the ground.
As they walked, their shadows got closer, almost touching.
Jessica watched, feeling particularly excited.
She reached out, moving her arm towards the direction of the sunlight.
Finally, under the sunlight, their shadows seemed to be tightly holding hands.
At that moment, they looked like a deeply in love couple.
Smiling, Jessica was satisfied.
Francis kept walking forward, and when he stopped, he realized they had walked quite far apart.
"Hurry up," he called to Jessica.
"But I want you to come back and hold my hand."
Jessica's coquettishness was something he hadn't expected at all.
At that moment, his heart felt like it had been softly touched.
"This isn't appropriate," he said.
Jessica caught up, and as soon as she stood next to Francis, she suddenly reached out and held his hand.
"Alright, since it's not appropriate for you to hold my hand, I'll hold yours."Jessica's words echo in his ears.
"This looks very appropriate."
Francis was considering whether to break free, but Jessica had already pulled his hand and started walking.
They walked for a few minutes until the scene caught their attention.
Suddenly, they both halted in unison.
In front of them, a young couple was embracing, kissing passionately, completely lost in each other.
