Chapter 460 Humiliating Patricia
As soon as the words were spoken, Yasmine Vasquez entered the venue with her two daughters.
"Mrs. Vasquez, you're here!" Scarlett greeted her politely.
"Sorry, Mrs. Jennings, I was delayed by something, but luckily I wasn't late."
The next moment, her gaze fell on the waiter a face full of red marks and looked extremely disheveled.
At such banquets, it's not uncommon for waiters to be mistreated, so she didn't pay much attention to it.
However, when she noticed the familiar-looking wine glass shattered on the ground, her expression instantly turned pale. "Mrs. Jennings, can you tell me what happened here? Is that my wine spilled on the floor?"
Scarlett was about to explain when the waiter, sobbing, recounted everything that had just happened.
Upon hearing the whole story, Yasmine was instantly furious.
She turned around, looking at Patricia with a murderous glare. "So, it's all your fault, Patricia."
Seeing Yasmine's noble demeanor and arrogant tone, Patricia knew she couldn't afford to offend her, so she bowed and apologized.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Vasquez, I didn't mean to." Patricia lowered her head, and her voice was faint and delicate.
She thought this would earn her some sympathy.
However, she was gravely wrong.
"Then you don't understand me. I hate insincere apologies the most. Look up."
Patricia was forced to raise her head.
When Yasmine saw her face clearly, she became even more furious. "You look familiar. Oh right, I remember now. You're the Patricia who caused so much trouble for the Walton family back then."
"A homewrecker like you dares to show off in front of me."
"You look like someone who seduces men, and it disgusts me. I hate women like you who pretend to be pitiful and delicate, acting weak but being extremely venomous."
"Mrs. Vasquez," Patricia bit her lip, still looking aggrieved. "You must be mistaken..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Yasmine's slap landed hard on Patricia's face.
"I'll tell you this, my wine is priceless, and you must compensate me for it."
"And get out of my sight. If I see you again, I'll hit you again."
Yasmine was so angry but she felt better after her two daughters came over to comfort her.
The reason Yasmine was so furious was that she despised homewreckers.
Years ago, her husband had an affair, and the mistress, flaunting her pregnancy, came to their home. Yasmine, who was also pregnant at the time, was so enraged that she fell down the stairs and had a miscarriage.
The fully formed baby boy, who was over three months along, was just gone like that.
Since then, she had hated all homewreckers.
And Patricia was exactly the kind of person Yasmine despised the most.
It was no wonder Yasmine was so angry.
The commotion ended with Patricia fleeing to a corner in disgrace.
Scarlett, holding a glass of wine, walked over to Danielle in her high heels, smiling brightly. "Mrs. Walton, how was my performance? Satisfied with the show?"
The people around them immediately realized what was going on, looking at Scarlett in surprise and then at Danielle. "Was this all planned out by you?"
"And the waiter and manager just now were also arranged by you?"
Danielle and Scarlett exchanged a smile.
Then Danielle sincerely praised her, "You acted brilliantly. You deserve praise."
"It's just a bit sorry that your birthday party had to have so much drama. I'll host a more luxurious one for you another day."
Scarlett, however, smiled nonchalantly. "We've been friends for so many years. Even though we bicker sometimes, I had to stand up for you!"
"Besides, we have birthday parties every year, and it's always the same. I was getting bored. This time, something different was quite fun. I'm even more looking forward to your performance next."
"Alright, I won't let you down. I promise it'll be spectacular." Danielle raised her glass to clink with hers.
Soon, the banquet began.
The guests took their seats one by one.
As the waiters served the dishes, Danielle, in her high heels, gracefully walked up to the stage.
Holding the microphone, she looked at the audience with warmth and courtesy. "Good evening, everyone. I'm Danielle. Thanks to Mrs. Jennings for inviting me to her birthday party. To keep everyone entertained, I've prepared a very exciting show. Are you interested?"
"Yes." Everyone was eagerly anticipating, clearly interested.
At this moment, Patricia, who had been sitting in a corner unnoticed, finally sensed something was wrong.
'Damn, I've been set up by Danielle.'
Patricia cursed inwardly and immediately stood up, trying to leave quietly through the back door.
But it was too late.
"Patricia, don't leave. You worked so hard to get into such a luxurious place. How can you leave without saying?""
Patricia suddenly stopped, her body going tense.
Danielle's voice echoed through the hall, "Besides, you're the star of this show. If the star leaves, the show won't be as exciting."
Patricia knew she was doomed.
Danielle was never a kind person.
That's why, after becoming Jonah's mistress, Patricia only dared to hide secretly rather than confront Danielle.
In the past, she had been severely punished by Danielle several times.
Those experiences were deeply etched in her memory.
To this day, she couldn't forget.
That's why she wanted Jack to succeed so badly, so she could one day defeat Danielle.
She also wanted to experience the exhilarating feeling of defeating Danielle.
But now, it seemed her dream hadn't come true, but she was once again outsmarted by Danielle.
Patricia's hand was already on the back door handle, about to leave.
But at that moment, several waiters walked over and grabbed her.
Then, in front of everyone, the waiters forcibly pried her hand off the door handle and dragged her to the stage.
All the way, Patricia's face was pale.
Her legs were so weak that she had no strength left.
When Patricia was thrown onto the stage, she would have collapsed if she hadn't held onto something.
Danielle, holding the microphone, walked towards her. "This isn't your villa where you can come and go as you please."
"Patricia, we've had our grudges for so long. Don't you think it's time we settled them today?"
Patricia looked at her in fear. " What do you want?"
"I'm telling you, if you do anything to me, Jack won't let you off, and Jonah won't forgive you either."
Danielle laughed disdainfully, looking at her with indifference. "Do you think I'm afraid of them?"
