Chapter 284 Deep Affection

"It's me. I'm right here."

Her voice, soft and gentle, hit him like a feather to the heart.

Gabriel felt a rush of heat flood his body in an instant.

That feeling was driving him nuts.

But looking at Jessica, he bit his lip hard enough to draw blood, trying to keep it together, telling himself over and over, 'No, I can't hurt my Jessica.'

No way, no how.

Seeing him in such pain, Jessica couldn't hold back anymore and softly said, "Gabriel, actually..."

"Leave."

Before she could finish, Gabriel cut her off, "Jessica, get out of here. If you don't want me to hurt you, leave now. If you stay, I might lose control and hurt you."

His eyes were bloodshot, and his mouth was bloody from biting.

Jessica couldn't hold back any longer.

She reached out, her slender hand cupping his cheek, then stood on tiptoe and pressed her lips to his, kissing him deeply.

One second, two seconds...

He didn't kiss her back passionately.

Instead, he pushed her away.

"Jessica, I don't want to hurt you," he said, giving her one last chance.

"Idiot." Jessica looked at him, tears mixed with a smile, saying, "You're such an idiot, Gabriel. Can't you see I want it too? If you don't want to, then I'll..."

Before she could finish.

Suddenly, Gabriel grabbed her arm.

In the next moment, his overwhelming presence engulfed her like a storm, drowning her completely.

Before Jessica could react, he had already carried her into the bathroom.

His body was burning hot.

Her face was like a blazing flame, radiant and alluring.

As the hot water poured down, the mist enveloped them completely.

Jessica's soft moans blended in, like a beautiful, winding melody, but Gabriel was the one controlling the rhythm.

Her body weak, she could only cling to him desperately.

The intense passion surged like a tidal wave, spreading wildly.

The night grew quieter.

The sound of water in the bathroom stopped, the room was dimly lit.

Jessica's petite body sank into the soft bed, and then her whimpers were swallowed.

As the wind blew, the curtains swayed gently.

Inside, different melodies played, but the main theme stayed the same.

Finally, Jessica drifted off to sleep, completely exhausted.

Gabriel, though, was wide awake.

He brushed her sweat-dampened hair aside and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead, saying, "Goodnight!"

Then he turned off the light and pulled her delicate body into his arms possessively.

When Jessica woke up, her whole body was sore.

Thinking about what happened last night, she felt a wave of panic.

They weren't even anything, yet they had such an intimate encounter.

The room was a mess, and Jessica couldn't help but recall some scenes.

Even though they had been married for two years and had moments of intimacy, those times were few and far between.

And he had always been gentle, never as intense as last night.

Now, she didn't even know how to face him.

Taking advantage of his deep sleep, Jessica gently moved his arm aside, grabbed her nightgown, and quietly slipped out of bed.

But just as her feet hit the floor, a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist out of nowhere.

Then, his sexy morning voice whispered in her ear, "Where you think you're going?"

"Nowhere," Jessica's heart skipped a beat as she answered, "It's just morning, and I wanted to get up."

"No rush." Gabriel pulled her back onto the bed with a little force, saying, "You were wiped out yesterday. Sleep a bit more today, or you won't have the energy to get out of bed."

"Gabriel, cut it out."

Jessica was already blushing.

His words made her even more embarrassed.

"Why not? I still remember how wild you were last night..." Before Gabriel could finish, Jessica covered his mouth, glaring at him, "Stop talking."

Gabriel chuckled, clearly in a good mood.

Just as Jessica was about to pull her hand away, she suddenly realized he had taken her fingers into his mouth, his eyes locked on hers.

Instantly, a tingling sensation, like an electric shock, surged through her brain, leaving her no room to think.

"Let go of me!" Jessica said, biting her lip.

"What if I don't?"

"Gabriel, you..." Jessica stammered, almost in tears from frustration, not knowing when he had become so difficult and cunning.

"Gabriel, you're such a jerk." Jessica said.

"How am I a jerk?" he asked.

Jessica looked at him with starry eyes, saying, "I saved you yesterday, and instead of thanking me, you treat me like this."

"How did I treat you?" he laughed.

"You're teasing me." Jessica said.

"Jessica!" With a sigh, he held her tightly in his arms, saying, "It's not teasing; it's just that I can't help myself, I don't want you to leave, and I don't know how to keep you. It seems like this is the only option I have."

It was impossible not to be moved; Jessica's eyes were already red.

Turns out, true love didn't need grand gestures; simple words were enough to capture a person's heart.

Gabriel said, "Fool, you gave yourself to me yesterday. Where do you think you can escape to? Yesterday, when I realized something was off with my body, I immediately went to the bedroom to find you. When I didn't see you, I came here right away. Jessica, I'm not a noble person, nor am I great. But in this life, besides you, I don't want to touch any other woman."

He lowered his head, kissing Jessica's hair passionately.

At the same time, he repeated over and over, "It's you, only you."

Jessica looked up in shock, and before she could stop herself, the words were already out of her mouth, "How is that possible? You and Diana, you clearly..."

She couldn't finish the sentence.

Just thinking about it made her heart ache.

At this moment, a hearty laugh came from above.

Gabriel cupped her face and carefully said, "So, my Jessica is jealous?"

Jessica lowered her head, silent.

Gabriel laughed again, his voice clear in her ears, "What if I told you nothing happened between us?"

Jessica's eyes widened in shock as she looked at him.
