Chapter 107 Diana Wants to Jump Off the Building
Gabriel sneered, "You don't know?"
"You actually claim not to know."
"Jessica, I thought after these two days, we had reached an agreement to maintain this marriage well and walk hand in hand peacefully. I've said before that I won't divorce, nor will I marry Diana. Why won't you let her go, using such malicious means?"
Gabriel's questioning words were like a sharp blade, piercing Jessica's heart.
How innocent she was. She didn't even know what she had done?
What did she do wrong again?
Jessica wanted to explain, but she couldn't even utter a word.
It was ridiculous.
Ironic to the extreme.
She woke up thinking he had specially come back to see her, so she got up joyfully, eager to rush to him.
But what did she get?
She understood his questioning, his sarcasm, and his coldness.
"Gabriel, what have I done to deserve you describing me with such malicious words?" She smiled and felt desolate.
"What have you done?" Gabriel smiled and looked at her sarcastically. "At this point, do you still ask me what you've done?"
His gaze fell back on the bed, sneering, "You're so calm. You can even nap at home."
“You did the thing and then just waited for fermentation."
"Jessica, I really can't understand you now."
After saying that, he threw his phone on the bed. "See for yourself. See the mess you've made."
Jessica picked up the phone from the bed. When she saw the overwhelming photos of Diana abroad on Instagram, she was instantly shocked. With eyes widening, she could hardly believe it.
How could this be?
She had clearly torn up those photos.
Since Jonah and Danielle had already promised to respect her thoughts and choices, they wouldn't have posted them online again.
So, who was it?
Who was framing her like this?
Diana's scandalous news dominated Instagram searches, with images of her circulating widely. Jessica glanced at Gabriel, hurriedly explaining, "Gabriel..."
However, before she could even say his name, Gabriel ruthlessly interrupted, "You want to say this has nothing to do with you? You didn't do this?"
"It really wasn't me." Jessica shook her head desperately.
Gabriel gritted his teeth, staring at her angrily. "At noon, you went to the Ancestral Manor. Dad gave you those photos, and in the afternoon, those photos came out. Jessica, you say it's not you. Do you think I'll believe it?"
So, he had already investigated the matter and concluded that she was the one behind all this, right?
"And now you're back in a rage to question me. Is that it?"
Jessica's voice gradually lowered.
She had thought about explaining, but he didn't even give her a chance to speak.
"Jessica, your previous impulsive actions didn't cause significant harm. I wouldn't mind. But this time, you've disappointed me too much. Have you ever considered the harm this would do to Diana? Even if I don't marry her, I still hope she finds a good man to marry."
"Your compassion is truly immense. You even want to be responsible for finding a good husband for your ex-girlfriend?"
"Jessica."
Gabriel gritted his teeth, shouting her name. His voice once again filled with anger.
"Now that things have escalated, she has become the target of the entire internet. Everyone is smearing and cursing her. Do you know how hurtful those words are?"
She was unaware of the manner in which the netizens were cursing Diana, but she knew that the words he used to do so had already caused her immense sadness. He only cared about whether Diana was feeling bad.
Did he ever think that she might be feeling just as bad?
The answer was clear, wasn't it?
These past two days, Jessica had thought she was living in a dream because everything was so unrealistically beautiful and dreamlike.
As it turned out, she had only dreamed for two days.
Now the time had passed, and she should have woken up. "Gabriel, why are you so angry?" Jessica looked at him calmly. "Actually, there's a very effective solution. As long as you divorce me, marry Diana, everything will be resolved."
"You can explain that it was me who was ruthless, purchasing the trending topics to frame her. In fact, she is a pure and kind girl. She won't face any attacks as long as you both hold hands and communicate, and even those online abusers will become blessings for your happiness.”
"Gabriel, I've already figured out the solution for you. You can eliminate the malicious woman you despise and wed your longtime sweetheart in this manner. Killing two birds with one stone. Isn't that great?"
After saying that, Jessica didn't want to say another word.
She turned around, wanting to leave.
However, Gabriel didn't even let her leave.
"Let go." She growled softly.
"Jessica, is this your way of solving problems?" Gabriel stared at her, questioning.
"You said you didn't want a divorce. However, you’re the one who actually wants to divorce and run into the arms of another man is you, right?" Gabriel sneered.
Jessica smiled back at him. "Yes, I didn't want to admit it at first, but since you've figured it out, I might as well admit it."
"Or, Mr. Walton thought I had to stay by your side loyally forever."
Suddenly, Gabriel's phone rang again urgently.
On the other end was Rou's voice, which was loud and anxious "Gabriel, it's bad. Diana is missing."
"I told you to keep an eye on her. How could she go missing?"
"A group of people suddenly arrived at the hospital, rushed in, and started cursing Diana, saying really nasty things. I thought Diana was very strong. She even comforted me in return, thinking she didn't care, but as soon as I went out to get some water, she disappeared."
Rou sounded almost on the verge of tears on the phone.
"You quickly go to the hospital to find her, I'm coming over right away."
After finishing the call, Gabriel immediately prepared to leave.
"Gabriel."
At that moment, Jessica suddenly called out to him. Gabriel turned around and found Jessica standing by the window, she had opened it, and the strong wind was blowing into the room.
"What's wrong?" Gabriel frowned.
Jessica looked at the two-story height outside the window, then at Gabriel. "If I accidentally fell from here, would you save her or save me?"
"Don't joke like this." Gabriel looked at her seriously.
"I'm not joking. I'm serious." Jessica smiled.
Gabriel frowned, and at that moment, when the phone rang again, Rou's urgent voice came through, "Gabriel, I found her. Diana is sitting on the rooftop of the hospital. It's very dangerous. Please come quickly, I'm scared."
"Gabriel, please. Come and save Diana, only you can save her now."
