Chapter 477 Dragging People Away 2
"Mrs. Walton, where are we supposed to take her on such a night?"
"Anywhere, as long as it's not in front of The Walton Manor."
"Alright, Mrs. Walton, I'll have someone take care of it right away."
"Okay."
As the servant pushed the door open to leave, a cold wind rushed in.
Suddenly, thunder roared.
Then heavy rain mercilessly lashed against the windows and leaves.
Patricia stood outside the gate, banging her head and muttering incessantly, "I need to see Danielle and Jonah."
"Hurry up and inform them! You must not have informed them, right? I have something important to tell Jonah. Jack is his child, he can't just watch Jack get into trouble!"
"I'm begging you, please go in and inform them again, okay?"
Timothy had already arrived at the iron gate with a group of people.
When Patricia saw the gate open, she thought they had finally agreed.
So, she frantically wiped her tears and happily said, "They agreed, didn't they? They agreed to see me, right?"
"I knew Jonah wouldn't be so heartless. Jack is his son, he wouldn't just let him get in trouble. Hurry, take me inside."
However, just as Patricia finished speaking.
Suddenly, two burly men rushed over and grabbed her arms, preparing to drag her away.
"Let go of me! What are you doing?"
"Mrs. Walton ordered it. She won't see you. You must leave."
"No." Patricia's eyes widened as she screamed hysterically, "No way! You must not have explained it clearly. Go back in and tell them."
"Tell Danielle I must see her, or I won't leave even if I die."
"That's not up to you."
Timothy coldly ordered, "Stop dawdling and get it done as instructed."
"Yes, sir."
The two men started to drag Patricia.
But Patricia went wild, clinging to the gate with both hands and kicking furiously with her feet.
At this moment, blinding headlights appeared in the distance, followed by the sound of a car horn.
Seeing it was Gabriel's car.
Patricia suddenly let go of the gate and, without thinking, ran straight towards it with open arms.
Blocking the car with her body, Patricia shouted, "Gabriel, stop the car!"
Meanwhile, in the dim light nearly buried by the torrential rain, Gabriel did not slow down.
Patricia's heart began to race.
But she couldn't give up. For Jack, she had to take a gamble. "Gabriel, stop the car now!"
The car still didn't slow down.
And the car was heading straight for Patricia.
Timothy was also terrified and shouted, "Mr. Walton, please consider carefully! You can't hit Patricia!"
Patricia closed her eyes, making her final stand. "If you want to get to Jack, you'll have to run over my body, step on my corpse."
Just as the car was about to hit her, it suddenly made a sharp turn. Gabriel's car skidded at high speed, veering far off before coming to a stop.
Seeing Gabriel open the car door, Timothy immediately ordered, "Quick, get an umbrella for Mr. Walton. Don't let him get wet."
Gabriel, in his leather shoes, stepped forward to Patricia.
Then, Gabriel looked down at her bloodshot eyes.
"Patricia, don't think I won't kill you. The only reason I haven't is because your death holds no value for me."
"As for Jack, I've said it before. If you are willing to live quietly abroad, I don't mind giving you and Jack some of the Walton Group's dividends each year."
"But if you harbor delusions, covet what you shouldn't, or have thoughts you shouldn't, don't blame me for being ruthless."
"Patricia, your good son, under your instigation, has already threatened the interests and status of the Walton Group. Since you are heartless, don't blame me for being unkind."
"Listen carefully to every word I say next and relay it to Jack exactly. Within three days, pack your things and leave. I'll spare his life. Otherwise, I'll hand over all the evidence of his commercial and economic crimes to the court."
"Think it over. Once Jack goes to prison, he'll be nothing when he gets out."
Patricia cried pitifully, looking at Gabriel. "No, Gabriel, I beg you. Jack is your brother, after all."
"Even if you don't have feelings for him, you are still blood brothers. You can't do this to him."
"And he's a Walton. If he goes to prison, it won't do the Walton family any good either. The family's reputation will be damaged."
Gabriel remained calm. "You don't need to worry about that. If I can send him to prison, I've already taken care of all the aftermath."
"Patricia, don't think about taking shortcuts. Waiting here for my parents won't help. I've made myself clear. There's only one choice. Leave cleanly and completely, and don't ever come back to disturb my family."
"No." Patricia, crying, shook her head innocently. "Gabriel, you can't be so cruel to us. The Walton family is vast and wealthy. You can't spend all that money in several lifetimes. Why can't you pity me and Jack and share some of the wealth with us?"
"I promise, if you can give us a portion of the Walton family's assets, not even half, just thirty percent, we'll be satisfied."
Gabriel couldn't believe Patricia dared to say that.
"Patricia, you are truly incorrigible. Even if my grandfather and father had acknowledged your identity, which they never did, I wouldn't share even a fraction of the Walton family's assets."
"You have a few days to think it over. I'm running out of patience. Don't wait until Jack is in prison to regret it."
With that, Gabriel looked at Timothy. "Get Patricia out of here. I don't want her blocking our gate."
"Yes, Mr. Walton."
Watching Gabriel walk away, Patricia's eyes suddenly filled with a deep, burning hatred.
Two men approached, and Patricia pushed them away. "Get lost! Don't touch me. I can walk myself."
"Gabriel, remember this. Today, you refused to give me and Jack a way out. When the Walton family faces retribution, don't blame me for being ruthless."
"For Jack and me, I can do anything. Fine, if you want us dead, don't hold it against me for making the first move.
"Walton family, just wait. I will make you regret every decision you made tonight."
In the night, Patricia stumbled away in the pouring rain.
But the hatred twisted her entire being.
"Hey, come pick me up right now. I have something to tell you." She hung up the phone and then threw her head back and laughed maniacally.
