Chapter 581 Clue 4

Gabriel reached out his hand, his rough fingertips trailing along the skin, landing on the strap.

At that moment, Jessica suddenly came to her senses.

She reached out and grabbed the strap, her face flushed as she spoke, "Honey, we haven't..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Gabriel gently flicked her forehead.

The next moment, he pulled Jessica's strap up and carefully placed it on her shoulder.

"Silly, what are you thinking? I'm not that inconsiderate."

"I know it's not appropriate now, so I'll hold back."

"Jessica, if you're tired, go to sleep first. I'll take a shower."

Jessica nodded sweetly, "Okay!"

Ten minutes later, a warm body pressed against her back, and in a daze, Jessica was pulled into an embrace.

The long-lost warmth was very touching.

Because her belly was already very big, Jessica didn't dare to sleep face-to-face with Gabriel.

So, she always faced the other side, and Gabriel would hold her from behind.

His hand would gently rest on her belly.

In the middle of the night, Jessica suddenly started crying.

Gabriel immediately turned on the light and held Jessica, "Honey, what's wrong? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"

Jessica, still half-asleep, whimpered, "I have a leg cramp, it hurts."

Gabriel immediately bent down, gently brushing aside her soft hair, and comforted her, "Don't be afraid, honey, I know."

"You sleep, I'll massage it for you."

Gabriel quickly moved a chair to the foot of the bed and sat down to massage Jessica's leg.

He continued until she fell into a deep sleep, her legs warm and relaxed, before he returned to bed, holding her tightly and falling asleep again.

In the morning, when Jessica woke up, she had already forgotten about the events of the previous night.

Seeing Gabriel just waking up with a lazy look, she leaned over and smiled sweetly, "Good morning, honey!"

"Good morning, honey!"

Gabriel pulled her head towards him and kissed her.

During breakfast, Jessica mentioned the events of the previous night.

"Freddy, Gilbert, let me tell you, I think I dreamed of an angel last night?"

"Mommy?" Gilbert and Freddy asked with great interest.

"Last night, I had a leg cramp, it hurt a lot, and then I felt like someone was massaging me. I thought I was dreaming, but this morning my leg felt comfortable."

Gabriel just smiled without saying anything.

He placed another fried egg in front of Jessica and gently reminded her, "That's a good thing, eat more!"

Next to them, Gilbert and Freddy looked at each other.

Then, Gilbert and Freddy both showed a speechless yet doting expression.

Their mommy had a pregnancy brain; the person who massaged her in the middle of the night was their dad!

At that moment, Charlotte came over with a plate of fruit, smiling, "Mrs. Walton, if what you said is true, that angel must be Mr. Walton."

Jessica looked at Gabriel in surprise, "Didn't you say it wasn't you this morning in bed?"

"Seeing you so happy, like a little girl lost in a dream, I didn't want to disturb you."

Gabriel smiled and gently wiped the milk from the corner of Jessica's mouth, "Eat slowly, you're about to be a mother of three, yet you still act like a little girl."

Jessica looked over, "Shouldn't you say, I'll always be the little girl in your eyes?"

Both Gilbert and Freddy fell silent.

After breakfast, Louie came over.

Gabriel asked Louie to take Freddy and Gilbert to kindergarten.

"Daddy, aren't you and Mommy taking us?" Gilbert and Freddy asked expectantly.

"Louie will take you. I need to accompany Mommy to pick out clothes for your sister."

Jessica said, "I've already picked out a lot of clothes."

Gabriel replied, "Those are the ones you picked. As a dad, I need to pick out more clothes for my daughter."

Gilbert raised his hand, "Daddy, I want gifts too. I want toy cars and building blocks."

Freddy immediately followed, "Daddy, I want Transformers and big trucks."

Jessica smiled sweetly and nodded, "Okay, let Daddy buy them for you later."

After parking at the mall, Jessica thought Gabriel would take her to a different mall than last time.

But it was not only the same mall but also the same baby store.

In the store, he went straight to the clothes Jessica had bought last time.

Then Gabriel specifically chose a few colors.

Watching the clerk pack them, Gabriel nodded in satisfaction, "I picked out the best-looking clothes. My daughter will like them."

Jessica laughed at him, "You're still jealous!"

"Who's jealous? I just think these colors look good. Besides, Louie and I have different tastes."

Gabriel stubbornly refused to admit it.

After shopping, Gabriel had to go back to the company to handle some matters.

He had planned to drop Jessica off first, but Tina called, so Jessica arranged to have lunch with her.

"Go back to the company, don't worry about me."

"Okay, if you feel tired from shopping, call the driver to take you home. He's waiting in the parking lot."

"Okay."

Jessica was very happy to see Tina.

At that moment, Jessica could temporarily forget she was a mom and just be a carefree girl.

"It's great that Mr. Walton has regained his memory and come back. Jessica, congratulations, your hard times are over."

Jessica was also very happy, "By the way, Tina, I might soon find my dad."

"You mean, your biological father?"

Jessica nodded, "Yes, I found a photo of my dad and mom together. My wish is coming true, and the baby will get to meet her grandpa."

Tina was very happy for Jessica.

Tina and Jessica shopped and chatted, not feeling tired at all.

They laughed and talked all the way.

When they got off an elevator, Tina suddenly grabbed Jessica, "Jessica, where's your driver?"

"In the underground parking lot, what's wrong?"

Tina lowered her voice, "I don't know if it's my imagination, but for the past half hour, I feel like someone has been following us. Wherever we go, he goes. We even ran into him several times in the elevator."

"I'm a bit worried, so let's stop shopping. I'll take you home now."

Jessica nodded, "Okay, now that you mention it, I do feel a bit tired."

As they took the elevator down, Tina felt very uneasy thinking about everything that had happened.

She watched as the numbers went from "7" to "5" to "2."

Just as Tina was praying for the elevator to quickly reach the underground parking lot, the elevator opened on the first floor.

Suddenly, a man with a baseball cap pulled low over his face walked in, silent as ever.
