Chapter 175 Do You Like Them a Lot?

'Jack's back?'

'Jack actually came back from abroad?'

'He swore he'd never return, and now he's back just like that. You can't trust a word he says.'

Gabriel pulled out his phone, and Oscar sped over.

He jumped in the car and took off after them.

Meanwhile,on Jessica's side, the driver was up front, and she and Jack were in the back.

Jack was put off by the smell of alcohol on her, so he kept his distance.

But after a few sharp turns, Jessica ended up right next to him.

Another sharp turn threw Jessica against Jack.

Jack pushed her away, disgusted. "Get off me."

Jessica tried to move, but she was too dizzy and weak.

With her eyes closed, she kept leaning on Jack.

After a few glances, Jack finally straightened her up and moved himself to the side.

He glared at the driver. "Slow down. Are you trying to kill us?"

The driver hit the brakes and slowed down.

With the sudden stop, Jessica leaned on Jack again.

Jack pushed her head away, "Why are you like a suction cup? I regret letting you in the car."

"Jessica," Jack said sternly, "sit up straight."

In her daze, Jessica thought she heard Gabriel's voice.

But wasn't he in the private room? How was he next to her?

Forget it, she didn't want to think about it.

"I want to sit up straight, but my head's spinning. Just let me lean on you. I promise I won't bother you tomorrow. Just for now, okay? My head hurts."

Saying this, Jessica leaned on Jack and fell asleep.

Seeing her like this, Jack believed she was really drunk.

Looking at her again, Jack couldn't help but complain, "Why did you drink so much?"

"You're lucky you ran into me. It would've been dangerous if it were someone else."

As soon as he finished speaking, he felt a tug on his arm.

Jessica grabbed his arm and pouted. "How dare you say that? Do you have any conscience?"

"Asking why I drank so much? It's because of you, you jerk. Do you think I wanted to drink? My head is killing me."

Jessica said this while hitting her own head.

But no matter how much she hit, her head still hurt.

"You could've helped me, but you just watched. Do you know? My heart was breaking."

"I had no choice but to drink."

As she spoke, tears started to fall from Jessica's eyes.

Without thinking, she wiped her tears on Jack's sleeve.

Jack was silent, seething inside. If it weren't for his good manners, he would've thrown her out of the car. Saving her was a mistake. A big mistake.

"Sit up straight. Where do you live? I'll take you home," Jack asked.

Jessica blinked her dazed eyes and suddenly patted Jack's cheek. "Stupid. You don't even know where I live? Didn't you come before?"

Jack was puzzled and looked at her in confusion. When had he ever been to her house? This was a blatant lie.

"I forgot. Tell me your address again," Jack said.

Jessica mumbled the address, and Jack relayed it to the driver. "Do you know where it is? Take her there immediately."

"Yes, Mr. Smith."

After some commotion, Jessica finally quieted down. But her head was still leaning on Jack. On the way, Jack tried several times to move her head, but every time he moved, Jessica seemed to wake up. To keep her quiet, Jack had to endure and let her sleep on his shoulder.

When they arrived, Jack helped Jessica out of the car. He was about to ask the driver to help her upstairs, but when he turned around, he found the driver had already left. Even with good manners, he couldn't help but curse.

Looking at Jessica, Jack had no choice but to help her into the elevator. At her door, seeing Jessica still asleep, he raised his voice, "Where's the key?"

Jessica was deeply asleep and didn't hear him. Jack had to slap her face to wake her up and ask again, "Where's the house key? Tell me."

This time, Jessica heard him and complained, "You forget everything. Didn't I tell you? No key, use my thumbprint."

Jack grabbed Jessica's thumb to try the fingerprint. He tried the right thumb and then the left, finally succeeding. Hearing the beep, Jack sighed in relief and helped Jessica onto the couch. Unexpectedly, she grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go.

"Jessica, let go," Jack said coldly.

The colder his voice, the more dissatisfied Jessica felt. She frowned and held Jack's arm tightly. "You're getting meaner and colder to me. You weren't like this before."

Jack frowned. Was he nice and gentle to her before?

"You big fool, I don't like you anymore." Jessica mumbled.

Hearing this, Jack raised an eyebrow, feeling smug. He knew it. Jessica must like him, which was why she tried so hard to get his attention. Even her drunkenness was probably to get his attention. She really went all out, enduring any hardship.

Since that was the case, he wanted to see what else she would do.

"Yet, I find it challenging to restrain my feelings. How could I possibly not hold affection for you?"

In her mind, the scene from earlier flashed. Gabriel stood there, with two glamorous women on either side of him, and he didn't refuse them.

"Do you like them a lot?" Jessica suddenly asked.
