Seeing Vincent get into the car, a colleague asked, "Mr. Lucas, where are you going in the middle of the night?"
"I have something urgent. I'll go tonight. You guys finish up and come back tomorrow."
"Mr. Lucas, it's dangerous to drive for over ten hours at this hour. Why not fly back tomorrow?"
"No, it's very important. I must go back now."
With that, Vincent stepped on the gas.
The black car quickly disappeared into the vast night, soon blending with the darkness.
Tina was on the night shift today. She constantly took out her phone to check if there were any replies.

She was anxious, wondering about Jessica's situation.

"Very successful. Are you at the hospital?"
"I am."
"My car will be at the hospital entrance in five minutes. If you have time, come out, and we'll go to the police station together."
"Okay, I'll wait for you by the roadside."

Hearing the horn and seeing the familiar face through the window, Tina immediately ran over.
Tina opened the door and quickly got in.
"What happened? Tell me now."
"Okay."

After listening, Vincent's brows were furrowed, and his face was very serious.
Tina also realized the gravity of the situation. "Vincent, is Jessica's situation very tricky?"
"Yes," he said in a low tone. "It's a bit tricky. Since Carolyn is determined to frame Jessica, she must be well-prepared. If Carolyn doesn't wake up, it's fine. But if she does, it will be more troublesome because she will say Jessica hurt her."
"Then Carolyn is giving false testimony?"
Looking at the red light ahead, Vincent stepped on the brake. "Carolyn doesn't even care about dying. Do you think she'd be afraid of giving false testimony? What's more troublesome is that there were no cameras in the hotel room, and with only Carolyn and Jessica there, once Carolyn is injured, Jessica becomes the prime suspect."

Tina nodded. "Vincent, I believe in your ability."
When they arrived, Jonah was meeting with Jessica.
Seeing Jessica, Jonah was filled with regret and guilt.
"Jessica, it's all my fault. If it weren't for me, Carolyn wouldn't have schemed against you."
"Don't worry, no matter the cost, I will get you out."
Jonah was almost in tears.
Jessica knew he was genuinely remorseful and come to his senses.
Jessica lifted her head calmly. "Dad, I understand how you feel. I'm not here to blame you."
"Since it has already happened, regretting it won't help. What we can do is make amends."
"I know you want to make it up to me, but I want to tell you that if Carolyn wakes up and uses me to threaten you to spare Patricia, you must not agree."
Knowing Carolyn's scheme, Jessica emphasized and reminded him.
Jonah was very worried. "If I don't agree, Carolyn will say you hurt her. You're pregnant and can't stay here too long."
"Dad, I know you understand everything that happened and know the current situation is very unfavorable for me, but I always believe in justice and the law."
"The truth will come out. And I will clear my name and work out with my head held high."

After Jonah left, Vincent and Tina met with Jessica.
"Jessica, how are you in there? Are you eating well? How are you sleeping? Is it cold at night?"
Tina asked several questions in a row, and Jessica smiled. "I don't know which one to answer first."
"Don't worry, I'm fine here. Eating well and sleeping well."
Tina bit her lip, feeling both sour and sad.
Although Jessica kept smiling, the fatigue and dark circles on her face were unmistakable.

"Jessica, can you recall everything that happened in the hotel room, from start to finish, in detail?"
