Chapter 615 Fulfillment
As Vincent finished speaking, Jessica hadn't yet reacted.
Suddenly, he pulled her into a tight hug.
His voice, as always, was gentle, just like when they first met.
"Jessica, you must be happy!"
"Only if you're happy can I be at ease and happy in the future."
Not far away, Gabriel looked at Vincent and Jessica embracing, and his heart tightened.
Gabriel clenched his fists, and took a step forward, almost ready to rush over.
But in the end, Gabriel's reason overcame his emotions.
He told himself not to act impulsively.
This wasn't what he imagined.
He should trust Vincent, and more importantly, trust Jessica, trust his wife.
Trust was the first step they needed to learn as a couple.
Vincent looked at the watch on his wrist. When the second hand pointed to 12, exactly one minute had passed.
He immediately let go and released Jessica.
"Jessica, you look so beautiful in your wedding dress today!"
"Goodbye, take care of yourself!"
After saying that, Vincent abruptly turned and walked away.
As he walked, he waved to Jessica.
At the same time, he added with a smile, "Make sure to look at the gift I gave you, remember, look at it with Gabriel."
Soon, his figure grew more and more distant.
"Okay."
Jessica cupped her hands around her mouth and answered earnestly.
Hearing her response, a faint smile appeared on Vincent's lips.
In his heart, he kept saying over and over again, 'Jessica, you must be happy.'
"Mr. Walton, Vincent and I will leave now. I wish you and Jessica eternal happiness." After saying goodbye to Gabriel, Tina immediately ran towards Vincent.
Gabriel walked over to Jessica and embraced her without hesitation.
"Honey, let go of me first!" Jessica was startled, not expecting him to suddenly hug her.
"No, I won't let go for a lifetime."
Jessica looked at his somber expression and belatedly smiled, "Honey, are you jealous?"
"Even though I know I shouldn't be jealous, and I know there's nothing between you two, but..." Gabriel admitted, "I still can't help but be jealous."
Jessica laughed happily, pinching his cheek with one hand. "So, you are blaming me?"
"Yes, because you are disobedient and keep running around in my heart."
Jessica pointed at his chest and said deliberately, "If you don't like it, I can jump out from here and find another place to live."
Gabriel immediately looked at Jessica and pressed her hand to his chest. "From now on, you can only live here, you're not allowed to live anywhere else."
"Since you are so naughty, I sentence you to life imprisonment in my heart, never to leave."
"I accept the sentence!"
Under the beautiful afterglow of the sunset, Gabriel held Jessica, and they slowly walked towards the villa.
"This wedding dress is heavy, aren't you tired, honey?"
"Not at all!"
The sea breeze blew gently.
Jessica's white veil fluttered, like a beautiful dream.
As they walked into the villa's entrance, they suddenly saw Louie standing there, and both were stunned.
"Louie, why haven't you gone back yet?" Jessica asked.
At the same time, she looked at Gabriel. "Honey put me down first."
Gabriel not only didn't put her down but held her even tighter.
This petty Gabriel was jealous again.
"Mrs. Walton, no need to be formal. You are now Mr. Walton's wife, being held by Mr. Walton is only right."
"I stayed because I wanted to say a few words to you and Mr. Walton."
Jessica asked, "What words?"
Louie took out a document and handed it over, saying slowly, "Mrs. Walton, Mr. Walton, this is my resignation letter. According to the timeline, today is also my last day of employment."
"You're resigning?" Jessica was very surprised.
"When Oscar hired me, he had one request: no matter what happens, I must protect Mrs. Walton."
"During this time, I have always remembered Oscar's words. But now that Mr. Walton is back, Mrs. Walton has his protection, which is both safe and happy, so I think my task is complete, and it's time for me to leave."
"Mrs. Walton, you are the best person I've ever met. I wish you and Mr. Walton a lifetime of happiness."
Louie's words were said without giving anything away.
Jessica felt a bit sad.
After all, Louie had been her protector and companion for so long; there were deep feelings intertwined in their bond.
She had wanted Louie to be responsible for protecting Freddy and Gilbert in the future.
Louie was not only diligent but also made her feel at ease.
But she didn't expect Louie to leave.
"Louie, are you leaving? If it's about the salary, we can discuss it..."
However, before Jessica could finish her sentence, Louie interrupted her, "Mrs. Walton, it's not about the salary. Mr. Walton has always paid generously. It's just that I have my pursuits and dreams now, and I hope Mrs. Walton can understand."
"Alright, since you put it that way, I wish you success in your future endeavors."
"Thank you, Mrs. Walton. I wish you and Mr. Walton happiness."
Louie left.
After a while, someone called his name from behind.
It was Gabriel.
He caught up and patted Louie on the shoulder. "Jessica's feelings for you are simple. She has always been grateful for your dedicated protection. As for everything else, she was completely in the dark.
"Some things, I hope she never knows."
Louie nodded seriously. "Mr. Walton, rest assured, Mrs. Walton will always be Mrs. Walton."
"I'll have Oscar arrange a new job for you."
"Thank you, Mr. Walton, but there is no need."
When Gabriel went upstairs, Jessica was on the second floor, gazing at the sea.
The sea breeze lifted her flowing hair, making her look gentle and charming.
"Where did you go just now?" Jessica asked.
Gabriel changed the subject, "It seems Vincent gave you a gift."
"Jealous Gabriel."
Jessica took the box and handed it to Gabriel.
"Not afraid of me seeing it?" Gabriel raised an eyebrow.
"Vincent specifically told me to look at this gift with you."
Gabriel was very surprised.
The wooden box opened, revealing a letter that lay quietly inside.
Opening the letter, Vincent's handwritten words immediately came into view.
"Jessica, Gabriel: First of all, congratulations on your wedding. Please don't mind the hug just now; it was just a brotherly embrace."
"At the same time, this is my gift to you. I hope that no matter what happens in the future, you can trust each other. Trust is the first lesson couples need to learn and the foundation of all emotions."
"Jessica, the last sentence is for you. If Gabriel ever gives you a hard time, just let me know, and I'll make sure to get justice for you."
It was a simple letter, but the message it conveyed was very clear.
This letter was to let everyone put aside their grudges.
"Vincent, rest assured, I will be very happy."
"You also need to find your happiness soon!"
