Chapter 442 Gabriel is Very Jealous
"Didn't I tell you not to come? I can drive myself back," Chelsea said coldly, deliberately avoiding his gaze.
Seeing her cheeks flush pink, Henry immediately responded, "You've been drinking, you can't drive. Besides, isn't it my duty to pick up my wife?"
"Wife? Weren't you just talking about divorcing me? What does that make me?"
"It was just a moment of impulse. Let's go home first, don't let Gabriel and Jessica laugh at us. By the way, do you know where Gabriel took me for lunch today?"
"Where?"
"A couple's restaurant!"
As expected, hearing this, Chelsea looked at him in shock, "You two guys, aren't you embarrassed?"
"Today was the day Gabriel and Jessica filed their marriage application. They wanted to spend some time alone, but you took Jessica away. Gabriel didn't want the reservation to go to waste, so he asked me to try the food with him."
As Henry and Chelsea continued talking, Chelsea's anger subsided quite a bit.
Turning around, she looked at Jessica, "Sorry, Jessica, for interrupting you and Gabriel."
"It's okay, Chelsea. Since you're not angry anymore, go home with Henry and talk things out. Clear up the misunderstanding."
"Alright, we'll head out then. Bye."
As they left, Henry supported Chelsea with one hand while reaching for her bag with the other.
Seeing Henry and Chelsea walk out of the restaurant shoulder to shoulder, Gabriel and Jessica exchanged a relieved smile.
"Doesn't it remind you of us back then?" Jessica suddenly asked.
"A bit," Gabriel nodded. "That's why I won't make the same mistakes again. I need to marry you as soon as possible to feel at ease."
"Mrs. Walton, get ready. I won't let go even if I die."
Jessica looked at him arrogantly, "Then you better be prepared, because I'll cling to you forever. Even if you get annoyed, I won't leave."
Leaving the restaurant, Gabriel took Jessica out for a fun day.
As soon as they got home that evening, Gilbert and Freddy eagerly jumped into their arms.
"Mom and Dad, where did you go? We couldn't find you when we got home."
Gabriel and Jessica each picked up one of them, "Were you good with your grandma today? Did you listen to her?"
Freddy spoke first, "Of course! All the other grandparents praised Gilbert and me for being smart and well-behaved. They said we're handsome and cute and couldn't wait to hold us."
"Seriously? Freddy and Gilbert are that popular!"
"Absolutely! My dad is so handsome, my mom is so beautiful, Gilbert and I can't fall behind!"
Jessica couldn't help but laugh at his words.
She looked at Gabriel, "No wonder he's your son, just as narcissistic as you."
Hearing this, Gabriel immediately puffed up, "We're narcissistic because we have the right to be."
Jessica fell silent.
Gabriel was getting more and more narcissistic.
That night, after Gilbert and Freddy fell asleep, Gabriel came out of the shower, and Jessica pulled him aside.
"I have two things to discuss with you," Jessica began.
"Okay."
"First, I want to call Mrs. Hernandez to see if I can return to the hospital. You know, it's not just my dream, but also my mom's. Being a doctor is my lifelong pursuit, so I want to go back."
"But if I go back, I might run into Jack. Will you support me?"
"How about the second thing?" Gabriel asked.
"While you were showering, Vincent called. He was happy to hear I was back in the country and wants to see me, and also meet Gilbert and Freddy."
After saying this, Jessica carefully observed Gabriel's expression.
She was afraid he would refuse.
She was also afraid he would get jealous or upset.
Wiping his damp hair, Gabriel spoke, "Being a doctor is your dream, of course, I'll support you. As for Jack, he doesn't even count as a rival to me. Why would I be afraid of him?"
"So, do you agree?" Jessica asked excitedly.
"Yes," Gabriel nodded, but quickly changed his tone, "But the second thing..."
"I don't agree!" he refused outright.
Jessica gently persuaded me, "Five years ago, during my difficult labor and car accident, and these past few years abroad, Vincent has helped me a lot. I've made it clear to him that we can only be friends. Besides, we're married now, honey. He helped me a lot; you can't expect me to never see him again, right?"
"Honey, you're the best. Please agree, okay? Besides, it's not like I'll be alone with him. Freddy and Gilbert will be there too!"
Jessica made a good point.
He couldn't keep her locked up forever.
The best solution was to let Vincent see how happy their family of four was, so he would give up any fantasy.
Thinking of this, Gabriel finally relented, "If you can dry my hair, I'll consider it."
"Honey, I'll get the hairdryer right away."
Soon, Jessica dried Gabriel's hair.
Running his hair, Gabriel reluctantly said, "Alright, since you're so diligent, I'll agree."
Jessica immediately kissed him on the cheek, "Thank you, honey. You're the best."
She kept calling him "honey."
Gabriel was overjoyed.
"Happy to see Vincent?" Suddenly, he reached out and lifted Jessica's chin.
His eyes were full of jealousy.
"Of course not!" Jessica immediately wrapped her arms around his neck, "Not because I'm going to see Vincent, but you trust me and give me freedom, and that makes me happy."
"Thank you, honey!"
"That's more like it." Gabriel kissed her on the lips.
When they went to bed, Gabriel was holding Jessica as they slept.
But when they woke up in the morning, Gilbert and Freddy were completely rude.
Freddy sat right on Gabriel's face, and Gilbert squeezed between them, insisting on snuggling in Jessica's arms.
Not only that, but Gilbert also kicked Gabriel in the stomach, trying to push him away.
So, Gabriel got angry.
"Freddy, you're sitting on my face. Move right now."
But Freddy just laughed loudly and sat on Gabriel's face a few more times.
Just as Gabriel was about to lose his temper, Freddy's soft little body rolled over and hugged Jessica tightly on the other side.
Now, both of Jessica's sides were occupied by Gilbert and Freddy.
There wasn't even a tiny bit of space left for Gabriel.
Seeing Gilbert and Freddy monopolizing his wife, Gabriel was very jealous.
