Gilbert immediately nodded seriously. "Dad, I'll take you."
"Okay." Gabriel nodded, tears welling up in his eyes.
After giving Oscar a few instructions, he carried Gilbert out of the building.
It had been five years, and this was the first time Gilbert had enjoyed his father's embrace, the feeling of which was truly wonderful.
As they descended into the elevator, everyone in the building saw Gabriel holding a cute little boy.
Soon, the news spread to everyone.
"Did you see? Mr. Walton was holding a little boy, and that boy is so handsome and so cute you want to pinch his cheeks."

With that kiss, everyone was convinced that the child in front of them was indeed Gabriel's son.
What shocked them even more was that Gabriel also kissed Gilbert's rosy cheek.

But just as everyone was relaxing, Gabriel's face suddenly turned serious. "His name is Gilbert Walton, he is my son, not an illegitimate child. This is the first and last time I will say this. If anyone spreads rumors about him, I will not hesitate to take severe action."

Holding Gilbert, Gabriel left the Walton Group Building.
In the evening, Gabriel personally cooked dinner.
Gilbert was very appreciative, praising as he ate, "Dad, your cooking is amazing, it's so delicious."
Gabriel was pleased.
Gilbert continued, "Dad, can you always cook for Mom, me, and my little brother from now on?"
"Sure."
Gabriel agreed without hesitation.
Hearing Gilbert mention his little brother again, Gabriel mustered the courage to ask, "Gilbert, why didn't your little brother come with you?"
He had been afraid to ask before.
Because he had a bad feeling in his heart.
And since Jessica had given birth to twins prematurely, he had always been very worried.
Gilbert thought for a moment, then smiled and said, "Dad, because it's a promise between me and my brother. I'm the older one, so I came to find you. He's waiting at home for us to come back together."
As for his brother's illness, he didn't mention it. He thought it would be better for his mom to tell his dad after they met.
After dinner, Gabriel prepared a bath and offered to help Gilbert bathe.

"I'll wait outside. Call me when you're done, okay?"
"Okay, Dad."
Ten minutes later, Gilbert had finished his bath and changed into his pajamas.
At bedtime, Gilbert looked at the big bed in front of him and asked, "Dad, where do I sleep?"
Gabriel stepped forward and hugged him, "Don't you want to sleep with me?"
Gilbert tilted his head, thought seriously, and then blinked his eyes, looking at Gabriel with excitement and anticipation. "Really? I can sleep with Dad?"
"Of course, you can always sleep with me."
Gilbert immediately smiled happily.
He raised his fists and jumped on the bed. "I have a dad now, I can sleep with Dad. Great, I can sleep with Dad!"
Maybe he was too excited, Gilbert kept rolling around on the bed.
He only stopped when he was exhausted and lay down.
Then Gilbert snuggled tightly into Gabriel's arms, holding his arm with his small hands.
Even though he was very sleepy, Gilbert kept his eyes open, asking repeatedly, "Dad, will you always stay with us and Mom? Will you disappear after I fall asleep?"
"No, I promise, I will always protect you and Jessica. Gilbert, when you open your eyes tomorrow, you'll see me, okay?"
"Okay, goodnight, Dad!" With that, Gilbert finally closed his eyes.
In less than a minute, he was asleep.
The next morning, as soon as Gilbert opened his eyes, he saw Gabriel lying beside him.
Immediately, a happy smile appeared on his face. "Good morning, Dad!"
"Good morning, Gilbert." Gabriel kissed his forehead, and Gilbert shyly hid in his arms.
Gabriel and Gilbert played on the bed for a while until Gabriel's alarm went off.
He immediately started getting dressed, saying, "Gilbert, get up quickly. After breakfast, we'll head to the airport and fly to mom."
