Chapter 609 Danielle Woke Up? 2

Jonah excitedly grabbed Gabriel's arm. "Did I see that right? Danielle's hand just moved."

This was the second time Danielle's fingers had shown a reaction.

"No mistake, Mom's hand moved," Gabriel and Jessica said in unison.

As soon as they finished speaking, Danielle's fingers moved again.

Then, Danielle's fingers began to move more noticeably.

Jonah stared nervously, afraid he was seeing things.

At the same time, Jonah grabbed Gabriel's hand. "Come on, go get Dr. Reynolds right away."

Gabriel ran out.

Gilbert and Freddy asked excitedly, "Mom, is Grandma waking up?"

"Yes, I believe this time she is," Jessica answered confidently.

Hearing this, Gilbert and Freddy were thrilled and shouted by the bedside, "Grandma, Mom had a baby sister for us. Stella is super cute. Wake up, you'll love her when you see her."

"Grandma, we miss you so much. Please wake up soon, okay?"

Jonah was also moved to tears. "Danielle, you've been asleep for so long, you should wake up now."

"If you don't wake up soon, you might not recognize me with all my white hair."

At that moment, Gabriel rushed in with Cecil.

After examining her, Cecil couldn't hide his excitement. "It's truly amazing. You should keep encouraging her. She shows signs of waking up."

Hearing this, everyone was instantly encouraged and filled with confidence.

After sending the three children home, Jessica, Gabriel, and Jonah stayed at the hospital.

Everyone was waiting for a miracle to happen.

But by midnight, Danielle's fingers had not moved again since earlier.

Even so, everyone remained hopeful.

Jessica took a nap in the first half of the night.

Jonah and Gabriel stayed by Danielle'sside, their eyes red from lack of sleep.

Jessica poured them each a glass of water. "Dad, Gabriel, you should rest. Let me take over for a while."

Jonah and Gabriel both shook their heads.

"You both look terrible right now. If Mom wakes up and sees you like this, she'll be very worried."

"Do you want Mom to wake up and immediately start worrying about you?"

These words indeed moved them, and they obediently went to sleep.

Jessica stayed by Danielle's side.

Around two o'clock, Jessica suddenly felt Danielle's fingers move violently.

Then, Danielle's hand kept moving continuously.

Soon, she felt Danielle's eyelids twitching.

Jessica held her breath, staring intently at Danielle, extremely nervous.

She had a strong premonition that Danielle was about to wake up.

"Mom, it's Jessica!"

"Mom, you can hear me, right?"

"Mom, keep going, please, open your eyes quickly."

"Don't you love your granddaughter? I had a very cute daughter named Stella. She was talking to you earlier today. Keep going, just open your eyes and you can see her."

Danielle's eyelids twitched violently, and then, her eyes slowly opened.

"Mom, you're awake!"

Jessica hugged her excitedly.

"Thank you, Jessica, for staying with me so late."

"It's no trouble, Mom. As long as you're awake, that's the best thing." Jessica was so happy she was almost incoherent, "By the way, Dad and Gabriel will be so happy when they find out. They've been hoping for this every day."

"Mom, wait a moment, I'll go get them."

Without delay, Jessica ran into the other room, shouting happily, "Gabriel, Dad, wake up, Mom's awake!"

Jonah and Gabriel reacted quickly.

"Jessica, are you serious?"

Jonah was the first to rush out.

Jessica and Gabriel followed.

In front of them, Jonah was holding Danielle, tears streaming down his face.

"Danielle, this is wonderful, you're awake."

He could barely speak, choked with emotion.

Gabriel and Jessica halted, realizing that Jonah and Danielle needed each other more at that moment. They stood quietly to the side, not interrupting.

Jonah held Danielle tightly, his eyes scanning her face over and over.

Only when he was sure she was awake and he wasn't dreaming did a smile finally appear on his face.

"Danielle, I was wrong before. I wasn't good to you."

"You can punish me however you want, I'll agree to anything, as long as you let me stay by your side to take care of you, okay?" Jonah asked cautiously.

He was afraid she would push him away.

Danielle's eyes filled with tears.

Looking at Jonah, she felt a whirlwind of emotions.

Danielle raised her hand, gently stroking his hair, and said, "Jonah, how many years have I been asleep? Why is your hair so white?"

"I remember you hardly had any white hair before."

But now, his head was almost entirely white, with only a few sparse, golden strands.

Jonah held her hand tenderly. "Not long at all. You are still young and as beautiful as ever."

"How long exactly?" she asked.

"About six months."

When Jonah said this, Danielle's tears flowed uncontrollably.

"Six months!" she cried, deeply saddened.

Her hands moved to Jonah's white hair, filled with heartache. "Did my sickness make you worry about me?"

Jonah's silence answered everything.

Danielle couldn't say a word, only silent tears flowed.

"Danielle, don't cry. It's just some hair, it's not important."

"If you don't like my white hair, once you recover, I'll dye it back to gold, just like before."

Danielle's voice was hoarse, "How could it be the same? One is natural, the other is artificial."

"It doesn't matter. I don't care what others think, as long as you don't mind, I don't care about anyone else."

Jonah held Danielle's face excitedly. When their cheeks touched, he couldn't hold back his tears, which flowed uncontrollably.

The wetness stuck to Danielle's face.

His voice was low, hoarse, and trembling, "Danielle, you can call me reckless or a jerk; it doesn't matter, it's all in the past. Please forgive me, okay?"

"Give me another chance, let's start over."

"In my life, I've never loved anyone else. The only person I've ever loved is you, from beginning to end, only you."

Danielle hugged him back, choking up as she replied, "Okay."
