Chapter 443 Meeting Vincent
"Gilbert, Freddy." Gabriel looked at them and spoke very seriously, "I'll give you two minutes to get out of your mom's arms right now."
Freddy pouted and stubbornly said, "No, I like Mom's embrace. Mom smells nice, and I want to sleep holding her."
"Gilbert, what about you?"
Gilbert looked at him with big, watery eyes, "Dad, you're shameless. You're all grown up, and you still want to compete with us for mom."
Gabriel was silent.
Who was shameless here?
It was Gilbert and Freddy who were shameless. They were so grown up and still wanted to cling to their mom.
It was only natural for him to hold his wife.
"I'll say it again, this is my wife. You two, get up." Gabriel said sternly.
Gilbert and Freddy ignored him and squeezed even closer to Jessica, holding her tighter.
'Gilbert, Freddy, you want to go against me.'
He couldn't believe he couldn't handle Gilbert and Freddy.
Grabbing his phone, Gabriel called Danielle, "Mom, are you up?"
"Yes, I'm up. What's the matter?"
"Come upstairs and take your grandsons down to play."
After saying that, Gabriel hung up the phone.
Gilbert and Freddy had already understood what he said and clung tightly to Jessica, "Dad, we don't want to go out. We want to stay with mom. You've been hogging Mom since you got back."
"Of course, she's my wife."
"She's our mom too."
"That doesn't matter. In mom's heart, her husband comes first, and you two come second."
With that, Gabriel had already reached out and grabbed Gilbert and Freddy off the bed.
Holding one son under each arm, he carried Gilbert and Freddy towards the door.
Gilbert and Freddy struggled simultaneously.
"Dad, let me go. I want Mom. Bad dad!"
"I don't want to go out. Dad, let me go."
Gabriel automatically blocked out their voices, completely ignoring what they were saying.
He opened the door and placed Gilbert and Freddy outside.
When Danielle came upstairs, Gilbert and Freddy were lightly sobbing, their little shoulders shaking with each cry.
She watched them, and it broke her heart.
She immediately walked over and hugged them, "My darlings, don't cry. Tell me, why are you so sad? Who put you here?"
Gilbert and Freddy rubbed their tearful eyes and said in unison, "Dad!"
"Why did your dad put you here?"
"Dad wouldn't let us hold mom. He wants to hold Mom by himself, so he threw us out." Freddy was still crying very sadly.
Hearing this, Danielle was instantly furious.
While wiping Freddy's tears, she said, "Alright, my good grandsons, don't cry. When your dad gets up, I'll deal with him for you. This is outrageous."
"Gabriel, you better be ready," Danielle shouted towards the bedroom door.
Jessica immediately pushed Gabriel, who was holding her, "Mom has spoken. Will you dare next time?"
Gabriel shamelessly said, "Getting scolded by Mom in exchange for holding my wife to sleep is a good deal."
Hearing his words, Jessica couldn't help but laugh.
"But you can't do this again next time. Otherwise, when Gilbert and Freddy grow up, they'll come after you."
Gabriel didn't care, "We'll deal with that when they grow up."
"Honey, let's make love while we still have time." With that, Gabriel pulled the blanket over himself and Jessica.
The bed gradually became messy.
By the time Gabriel and Jessica got up and finished breakfast, it was already ten o'clock.
Jessica took Gilbert and Freddy to the place where they had arranged to meet Vincent.
To accommodate Gilbert and Freddy, Vincent had specifically chosen a children's amusement park, where they could eat, drink, and play all in one place, making it very convenient.
Seeing Vincent, Gilbert, and Freddy immediately ran over.
"Mr. Lucas, long time no see. You look even more handsome!"
"Mr. Lucas, I missed you so much!"
Gilbert and Freddy were both very sweet talkers.
Vincent was also very strong, picking them up with one hand each.
Afterward, Gilbert and Freddy played in the children's amusement park.
"What would you like to drink?" Vincent asked Jessica.
"Coffee, please."
"Alright."
They each ordered a cup of coffee. When the coffee was served, it was still steaming, and the aroma of the coffee lingered around them.
"I remember, this is the flavor you ordered the first time. This is a new branch of that coffee shop. Try it."
That was Vincent, always so warm and thoughtful.
But the more thoughtful he was, the worse Jessica felt.
If she could, she wished he had never met her.
Maybe then, his life would have been different.
Taking a light sip, Jessica put down the cup.
"How is it?"
"Tastes just like before, very good." Jessica nodded.
During this meeting, Jessica and Vincent chatted a lot like old friends.
"How is Freddy's illness? Is he completely cured?"
"Not completely cured yet. Adapting to the heart transplant is a long-term process, and there might be rejection reactions later, but it shouldn't be life-threatening." Jessica said truthfully.
Vincent sighed in relief, "That's good."
"How do you feel to be back? Are you adjusting well?"
"Yes, everything is good. After all, it's a familiar place and environment, so it's easy to adapt. Gilbert and Freddy are great, they adapted even faster than I did."
"That's good."
Jessica and Vincent chatted for a while longer, but when it came to sensitive topics, they both seemed to have a tacit understanding and didn't bring them up.
By noon, Vincent ordered two kids' meals and Jessica's favorite dishes.
Jessica had eaten breakfast late, so she wasn't very hungry. She only ate a few bites.
Vincent worried she hadn't eaten enough, ordered her a dessert.
Looking at the small cake in front of her, especially the beautifully decorated little flowers on top, Jessica hesitated to touch it.
"Don't you like it? I remember you love desserts!" Vincent was puzzled.
At this moment, Freddy, eating a French fry, said, "Mr. Lucas, don't you know? My mommy can't eat cake. She can only eat the cream. Daddy says she'll have an allergic reaction if she eats it!"
At that moment, Vincent's raised hand froze in the air.

"It seems I don't know you well enough. He knows you better."
When he said this, Vincent's face was full of loneliness and sadness.
Jessica felt very guilty, "Vincent, it's not your fault. Gabriel only knows because we've spent a lot of time together. We haven't eaten desserts together, so it's reasonable you didn't know."
After lunch, Jessica immediately sent Freddy and Gilbert to play in the nearby amusement park.
