Chapter 767 Sweetness 2

As soon as he finished speaking, Grace set off.

In a few moves, she was using both her hands and feet.

As soon as five minutes were up, Quentin immediately called for a stop.

When he looked down, the shopping cart was already packed to the brim.

Of course, the cart was mostly filled with large bags of chips.

Quentin's expression darkened. "Is this all you want?"

Grace looked like a student caught doing something wrong by a teacher. She pulled out a few relatively healthy snacks from the cart and said, "Not entirely, there's also this."

"Chips make up more than half."

Judging by his stance, it seemed like he was about to change his mind.

Grace quickly walked over, hooked his arm, and said coyly, "Quentin, I only eat them occasionally, not every day. How about this, if you don't want to pay, I'll cover it today."

Quentin's expression darkened even more. "Do you think I'm stingy with money?"

"Then be a bit more generous and help me buy all of these!" Grace pleaded.

"I can't say no to you. But as far as I know, aren't celebrities supposed to manage their figures? Doesn't Linda control your diet?"

Grace chuckled, "Of course not. It's because Linda is so strict and never lets me eat these that I dare to indulge when she's not around."

"Then I'll call her right now," Quentin raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not afraid," Grace had learned to leverage Quentin's influence, "Linda would just think you bought them for me, and she wouldn't dare stop me from eating."

In the end, Quentin pushed a nearly full cart of snacks to the checkout.

Grace had already sneaked away to the parking lot.

At the checkout, the cashier kept glancing at Quentin.

'So handsome, it's been a long time since I've seen such a classy, elegant, and extremely handsome man. But men, especially those this handsome, usually don't like snacks, right? He's really an exception, buying so many snacks.' She couldn't help but think.

"Sir, are these all yours?" the cashier asked uncertainly.

"Yes."

Quentin's answer was as concise as ever.

Just as he finished bagging the items and was about to leave, Willie came running over with a smile, "Mr. Taft, let me help you with that."

"Why are you up here? Where is she?"

"Ms. Morgan is already waiting in the parking lot."

Carrying bag after bag of snacks, Willie was in shock.

Grace had immediately sent Willie up to help Quentin carry things.

Willie thought Quentin had bought something very heavy, so he ran up without hesitation.

But he never excepted a bit of steak, the rest were all snacks.

What surprised Willie even more was that Quentin not only didn't refuse but bought all those snacks.

In the past, Quentin hated having snacks cluttering up the house, and of course, he never ate them.

Sometimes, during inspections at the company, if he saw snacks on an employee's desk, he would scold them.

Especially these kinds of chips.

But now, he not only didn't hate them, he personally bought so many for Grace.

It seemed that being in love really changes a person.

Suddenly, Willie had a thought; he also wanted to meet a girl and fall in love.

He was looking forward to it!

Back home, Quentin took the steak to the kitchen first.

Grace and Willie followed with the snacks.

When they went up, Quentin was on the phone.

Quentin had just said a few words when he heard Grace's voice, "Willie, quickly, put them all in the living room."

He immediately had a bad feeling. He hung up the phone and walked out with long strides.

"Grace, don't scatter your snacks all over the..."

Quentin's words were cut off, but it was already too late.

Looking down, his words were cut off, and Grace had already spread all the snacks on the living room carpet.

Quentin's brow twitched. He walked over and was about to speak when Grace beat him to it, "Quentin, I've already spread them out. You know, when I'm in a bad mood, I like to pile up snacks, sit on the carpet, eat, and watch TV."

"With so many snacks, it's easy to spread them out but hard to pack them back. You wouldn't make me pack them all back, would you? My hands would hurt."

Grace bit her lip, fully utilizing her acting skills to put on a pitiful, sad expression.

Willie was not worried.

Quentin had a bit of a cleanliness obsession in some areas, like the living room, where he didn't like any extra items.

Now, Grace had spread her snacks all over the place. Willie thought Quentin might not easily forgive Grace this time and might even lose his temper.

Usually, when Quentin got angry, it wasn't Grace who suffered, but Willie.

So this time, Willie wisely decided to sneak away.

But he was wrong. Just as he reached the door, he heard Quentin's voice, "Alright, you can eat, and I'll have someone clean up afterward."

"Thank you, Quentin," Grace shouted happily.

Willie sighed; he had overthought it.

Quentin, such a formidable character, was completely smitten with Grace.

Indeed, there was always someone who could tame another.

After Willie left, Quentin focused on cooking the steak in the kitchen.

Grace watched TV in the living room. Since she was going to be on a variety show soon, she specifically watched the first episode of that show.

With snacks and a variety show, her mood finally improved.

She could laugh heartily.

But only she knew that her mind was still in turmoil.

She just didn't want to mention it or think about it.

A few minutes later, the aroma of steak wafted from the kitchen.

"Wow, it smells so good!" Grace followed the scent to the kitchen.

Seeing Quentin cooking looked incredibly handsome, she couldn't help but hug him from behind.

"Quentin, you're so handsome!" she said, showering him with praise, "You have such talent. Even if you weren't a successful businessman, you'd be an excellent chef. And if all else fails, you could make a living as a celebrity with that face."

"Such sweet talk? Did you mess up my living room?"

"No, I just wanted to say something nice to you and compliment you."

"Really?" he raised an eyebrow.

Grace nodded earnestly, "Of course it's true."

Quentin bent down, leaning closer to her, "Ms. Morgan, I'm sorry to tell you, I don't like empty words. I prefer something a bit more..."

Before he could finish, Grace stood on tiptoe, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pressed her soft lips gently against his cheek.

Quentin dropped the spatula and wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing her against the kitchen counter.
