Getting into the car, she instructed, "Take me home."

As soon as Jessica got home, Charlotte happened to bring Gilbert and Freddy back.
"Mommy!" Gilbert and Freddy ran over to hug Jessica.
"Mommy, you've been so busy lately. We haven't had a meal together in a long time. And where's Daddy? Why hasn't he come back yet?"
These days, Gilbert and Freddy had been waiting for Gabriel to return.

As Jessica left, Gilbert and Freddy held back from calling out "Mommy."

Three minutes later, Jessica stood in front of Patricia with Louie and the lawyer.
