Chapter 795 Crazy Jealousy 2
Willie was propping up his elbow, rubbing his brow in frustration.
Suddenly, the internal phone rang, and it was Quentin's voice.
Quentin's voice was as cold as ever: "Come in."
"Yes, Mr. Taft, I'll be right there."
Never before had Willie felt like he was walking into an execution chamber when entering the office, as if he was about to face death.
Just thinking about Quentin's possible anger made Willie uneasy.
It was all because he went to bed early last night; otherwise, he could have called Grace and begged her to delete the post.
At the very least, she could have blocked Quentin!
Shivering a bit, Willie dared not delay any longer. He straightened his suit and tie and headed to Quentin's office as quickly as possible.
"Mr. Taft!"
When Willie walked in, his voice was particularly unsteady, and his tone was completely different from usual.
"What's wrong with you?" Quentin looked up at him.
Willie tried to suppress his expression and calmly replied, "Thank you for your concern, Mr. Taft. I'm fine, just didn't rest well last night, so my voice is a bit hoarse."
Mentioning last night, Quentin instantly became very angry.
"It's not just you; I didn't rest well last night either."
Willie's heart tightened. Was it starting now?
But he maintained a good posture and respectfully asked, "Mr. Taft, is there something troubling you?"
Quentin immediately frowned. "I called Grace last night, and all my calls were rejected."
Willie broke out in a cold sweat.
Now Quentin was definitely angrier.
"Come over here, why are you standing so far away?" Suddenly, Quentin beckoned.
"Mr. Taft." Willie felt extremely anxious.
He really didn't want to get that close!
Who could withstand Quentin's anger?
"Mr. Taft, there's no need. I can stand here just fine. If you have any work for me, I'll get right on it."
"No rush, come over here first."
Willie was helpless.
In the end, he had no choice but to brace himself and walk over.
Quentin opened the Facebook chat with Grace and handed it over. "Explain to me what it means when a message is sent but rejected by the recipient."
Willie broke out in a cold sweat and thought, 'God, how brave was Grace?'
Who else in Quentin's Facebook friends dared to block him?
Although this was what Willie had often thought about late at night when Quentin kept bothering him, he never dared to do it.
But Grace did it without hesitation!
In his heart, Willie silently admired Grace, who dared to do something he didn't dare.
"Mr. Taft, do you really want to know?" Willie asked.
"I don't want to hear nonsense."
Since Quentin insisted on knowing, Willie had no choice but to say it.
"Mr. Taft, the reason your message was rejected is that Ms. Morgan blocked you."
"What? Blocked?"
Quentin's deep eyes stared at the phone.
It was clear that Quentin couldn't accept the fact that he had been blocked.
Quentin was so angry that he paced around the room several times, then looked at Willie. "She's not at the hospital now; she might be at Mark's place. Go verify it."
He couldn't wait any longer; Quentin wanted to bring her back immediately.
Willie muttered to himself, 'Of course she's not at the hospital. Who would be diving in the hospital?'
Suddenly, Willie realized that since Grace had blocked Quentin, he probably hadn't seen her post from last night!
In that case, should Willie tell him or not?
He was hesitating when Quentin's voice rang out again, "Hurry up and check."
Finally, Willie decided to tell the truth.
If he didn't say anything and Quentin found out later, it might not just be a tantrum but a direct firing.
Complaints aside, he cherished this job!
"Mr. Taft, please calm down. I have something to report."
"Speak."
Willie pulled up Grace's Facebook and respectfully handed it over, "This is Ms. Morgan's post from last night. Since she blocked you, you probably haven't seen it."
Quentin took the phone.
A minute later, Quentin's expression was frozen to the extreme, and even the atmosphere around him dropped to the lowest point.
"Why are you only telling me this now?"
Quentin's sharp eyes shot at Willie, his face full of anger.
Willie immediately explained, "Mr. Taft, I just saw it."
"It seems Mark didn't take my warning seriously. Does he really think I won't deal with him?" Quentin sneered, then said, "Find out her location. If you can't do it in an hour, you're done!"
The calmer Quentin spoke, the more it was a sign that he was about to unleash his anger.
As soon as Willie left, several other department heads hurried in.
Half an hour later, Willie rushed back to report Grace's location.
"Has she been with Mark these past few days?" Quentin asked again, unwilling to give up.
"Yes, Ms. Morgan just got discharged a few days ago, and Mark took her on a private jet for a vacation."
"Damn Mark, is the plane ready?"
Willie nodded.
After sending Quentin off on the plane, Willie immediately pulled out his phone.
As he expected, Quentin had already taken action against Mark.
The PR department had spread photos of Mark dining with a female celebrity during a shoot, causing a huge stir.
For a while, everyone thought Mark was in a relationship.
Mark's fans online were all upset.
Moreover, the brands collaborating with Mark were rushing to his company for an explanation.
After all, for male celebrities like Mark, many brand collaborations had a strict clause: no dating for a few years.
Otherwise, the brands could terminate the contract for breach of agreement.
If Mark breached the contract, it would not only affect many future collaborations but also result in hefty compensation.
Willie took a deep breath and put away his phone. In this lifetime, never offend Quentin, or one would end up in a terrible situation.
The next day, Mark continued to take Grace around the island.
The activities he arranged were really fun.
By noon, Grace barely had time to check her phone.
Just as she was about to open it, Mark suddenly said, "Grace, don't look!"
"Why?"
She already had a bad feeling.
"There's some bad news. I don't want it to ruin your mood. Don't worry, I can handle it."
"But if it's because of me, I have the right to know."
Two minutes later, Grace finished reading Instagram and was furious, "I'm calling Quentin!"
