Chapter 176 Gabriel, I like you
As soon as she thought of that scene, Jessica felt like a huge gash had been torn open in her chest.
Blood gushed from the wound, making her gasp in pain. She had to take deep breaths to ease it a bit.
But it still hurt like hell.

Stumbling to the bathroom, Jessica turned on the shower and squatted directly under it.
The water from the shower was cold at first.
Jessica shivered from the cold, hugging herself tightly.
Later, the water gradually warmed up, and Jessica's body also gradually warmed up a bit.
Hot water poured over her body, filling the bathroom with steam.

As Jack went downstairs, Gabriel's car just arrived.

But there was no sign of her in the living room or bedroom. Gabriel was scared, shouting loudly, "Jessica."
Suddenly, he heard the sound of water in the bathroom.
Without thinking, Gabriel pushed open the bathroom door.
Seeing Jessica in her clothes, sitting on the ground drenched with water and her hair hanging over her face, he rushed over and scooped her up in a heartfelt hug.
"Jessica, what's wrong?"
Holding her, Gabriel's first thought was that she was feeling unwell.
"Tell me, are you feeling unwell?"
Finally, Jessica opened her eyes. When she saw Gabriel's face becoming clearer, she couldn't hold back anymore and started crying.
But the tears were quickly washed away by the water.
Still, Gabriel held her face, gently wiping it like she was a fragile treasure.
His voice was so gentle.
Wiping while asking, "Jessica, where are you feeling unwell?"
In the private room, wasn't he cold and indifferent to her, treating her like a stranger?
Why was he suddenly being so nice to her?
Jessica looked at him, tears streaming down her face, pitifully saying, "I feel unwell everywhere."
She reached out, her slender fingers clutching her chest. "But here, here hurts the most, Gabriel, do you know? It hurts."
"It hurts so much, I want it to stop hurting, but I can't control it, I really can't control it."
The more she spoke, the more she cried.
"Tell me, how can it stop hurting? How can it stop feeling bad?"
"Sorry Jessica, it's my fault, I shouldn't have let you drink. I'll take you to the doctor now."
Gabriel thought her chest pain was caused by drinking, making her feel unwell.
Jessica smiled, pulling him. "Gabriel, you're so stupid, it's not my body that hurts, it's my heart."
"My heart, it hurts here, do you understand?"
After saying that, she tilted her head back, letting the water from the shower wash over her face.
It seemed like this was the only way to slightly relieve the pain.

Hugging herself again, Jessica continued to squat under the shower, her head hanging low, still feeling extremely uncomfortable.
