Chapter 525 Getting Married Early

Jessica took a nap.

That night, she slept exceptionally well.

As soon as she got up in the morning, Louie was waiting downstairs. "Mrs. Walton, what would you like for breakfast? I'll go get it for you."

"No need to trouble yourself, just some milk and a sandwich will do."

"Alright."

While eating, Louie asked, "Mrs. Walton, how's your foot injury?"

Jessica had almost forgotten about it until he mentioned it.

Then Jessica moved her foot and said, "My foot is much better, it hardly hurts anymore."

"That's good." Louie nodded, feeling much more at ease.

"By the way, I asked you to look into all the information about Francis. Did you find anything?"

"I've already found it. I'll give it to you after breakfast."

After breakfast, Jessica went through the documents in her hand.

She was right; Gabriel had indeed crashed here in a plane accident and was rescued by Celia's family.

Not only that, they had fabricated an almost flawless lie for Gabriel.

A new name;

A new identity.

They wanted to completely erase Gabriel's past and change his life entirely.

But Jessica would never allow that.

After reading the documents, Jessica went straight to where Francis worked.

His current job on the island was planning and construction.

Francis had just started work when he heard a colleague shout, "Francis, someone is here to see you."

"Who?"

"A pretty woman looks like she's pregnant."

The instant he heard this, the image of Jessica appeared in Francis's mind.

He thought he shouldn't see Jessica.

He always felt that Jessica had a kind of charm that could captivate people.

Especially those beautiful, enchanting eyes, which seemed to hold one's very soul captive.

He knew he couldn't resist.

But he couldn't bring himself to say no.

In the end, he pretended not to hear.

At noon, as he was leaving, he saw her standing at the door wearing a sunhat, smiling brightly, her smile as beautiful as a spring breeze.

Seeing him, she walked over with a spring in her step, like a little girl.

Moreover, her face was full of smiles, without a trace of impatience or frustration from waiting.

"Finally, you're out. If you hadn't come out soon, my stomach would have been growling with hunger," Jessica said, looking up with a smile.

Francis checked his watch and realized that it had been over three hours since she arrived.

"You've been waiting here the whole time?" he asked.

Jessica nodded, "Yes."

"Are you an idiot?" For some reason, Francis suddenly got a bit angry, "In this hot sun, you're standing here as a pregnant woman, aren't you afraid of getting heatstroke and passing out?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Francis regretted it.

He thought she would be angry.

But to his surprise, she wasn't angry at all; instead, she smiled brightly.

She nodded and agreed with him, "Yes, I'm an idiot, so I can't live well without you."

"Do you remember? You used to say that about me often. Although you appeared stern, I knew you cared about me."

Francis got even angrier.

But she wasn't angry at all; she just smiled at him.

It made him feel like he was hitting a pillow; soft and comforting, without any pain.

"Are you hungry?" Francis asked.

Jessica touched her stomach and smiled at him, "I'm very hungry."

Just as she finished speaking, Francis's phone rang.

It was Celia calling.

"Francis, Mom has prepared a very lavish lunch today and wants us to come home for lunch."

Celia's voice was so loud and excited that Jessica couldn't help but hear it.

She turned around and walked away silently, waiting on the side.

A few minutes later, Francis walked over, "Let's go!"

"Where to?"

"Didn't you say you were hungry? I'll take you to eat."

"But didn't Celia ask you to go home for lunch?"

"I can go back for dinner instead," Francis replied.

Hearing his response, Jessica felt a burst of joy in her heart.

She touched her belly and whispered, "Baby, did you see that? Your dad loves me and loves you."

"Even though he's lost his memory and forgotten about us, he can't help but be drawn to us."

During lunch, Jessica handed her phone to Francis.

"Give me your phone number and Facebook."

"No need," he said, "After this meal, we shouldn't have any more contact. I've said it before, Celia is my fiancée, and she's very good to me. I can't do anything to betray her."

Hearing his words, Jessica felt a sudden pain in her heart.

'He couldn't betray Celia, but he could betray me and the baby?'

But then she comforted herself, ' Jessica, you have to be strong. Right now, you can't be too demanding. He's Francis now, not Gabriel, so you can't expect too much from him.'

Smiling, Jessica looked at him, her eyes bright, "What are you talking about? Nothing happened between us. You're making it sound like I did something wrong."

Francis looked at the smile on her face, and his heart started to beat faster.

Some emotional changes were known only to him.

He was afraid that if he got any closer, he wouldn't be able to control his heart and would do something to betray Celia.

Jessica didn't insist.

After finishing the meal, she looked at Francis, "So if I have any trouble in the future, I can't come to you?"

"Your belly is quite big now. Going home is the safest option."

Jessica shook her head, "The most important person to me is here. If he doesn't go home, I don't have a home."

"But it's dangerous for you to be like this."

"I'll take good care of myself. Alright, since you don't want to, I won't force you. I said yesterday that I would treat you to a meal to thank you. I'll prepare dinner at home and wait for you to come."

After saying that, Jessica was about to leave.

But Francis grabbed her hand, "Don't waste your time. I won't come."

"It's okay. As long as it's before midnight, it's still today, and I'll wait for you."

In the evening, Jessica had the housekeeper prepare a lot of dishes.

Each one was something Gabriel used to love.

The dining table was almost full, a very lavish spread.

Jessica looked at Louie, "Is everything ready?"

"Don't worry, Mrs. Walton. The photo album, videos, and all the things you and Mr. Walton used to have together are ready."

"Okay."

"Will Mr. Walton come?" Louie was a bit worried.

But Jessica nodded confidently, "I'm betting he'll come."

At eight in the evening, Francis hadn't come.

At nine, he still hadn't come.

Louie looked at Jessica sitting on the side, filled with worry.

On the other side, Alisha took the opportunity of drinking to speak up, "Francis, a few days ago, we consulted a seer. The prediction left me feeling uneasy."

"The seer said something bad would happen on your wedding day, so we took the liberty of choosing a good date. The wedding will be moved up by half a month. Do you have any objections?"
