Chapter 511 Gabriel, I Miss You So Much 2

Taking a deep breath, Jessica made up her mind.

"Baby, whether that person is your dad or not, I have to go in and take a look."

"If he's your dad, then we can be reunited as a family."

"If he's not your dad, we'll keep looking for him, okay?"

With that, Jessica walked into the restaurant.

The restaurant was decorated with a charming, picturesque style, but Jessica had no time to appreciate it.

She couldn't stop thinking about Efren.

With each step she took, her heartbeat quickened.

Jessica clenched her hands tightly, her heart in her throat.

She kept telling herself, 'Gabriel, it can only be you.'

'Gabriel, do you know how much I miss you?'

Soon, she was getting closer and closer to Efren's back.

Three steps, two steps.

Just one more step, and she would be standing in front of him, able to see his face.

However, Jessica was afraid. Of course, she was afraid of being disappointed.

With her eyes tightly closed, Jessica walked right in front of him.

Then, she gently opened her eyes, first peeking through a small slit.

The moment Jessica opened her eyes, she almost leaped with joy and spoke with hope.

However, after seeing the face clearly, she was disappointed.

It wasn't Gabriel.

Of course, in such a vast world, with so many people searching for days without finding Gabriel, how could she be so lucky to see him?

She was delusional; such coincidences don't happen in real life.

Putting away her smile, Jessica forced a slight grin, "Sorry, I mistook you for someone else."

Efren looked up, his gaze softening as it fell on her belly, "It's okay. You seem to be looking for someone. Do you need my help?"

Jessica shook her head, "Thank you for your kindness, but I might not be able to find him for now."

Suddenly, a sharp, harsh voice rang in her ears, "Well, well, you slut, I caught you."

"You slut, you chose to be a homewrecker and seduce my husband."

Before Jessica could react, Aubrey had already rushed in front of her.

The next moment, Aubrey grabbed the red wine from the table and poured it over Jessica's head.

Instantly, the bright red wine flowed down Jessica's hair.

It seemed Jessica had been misunderstood.

As Jessica opened her mouth to explain, Aubrey cut her off by throwing the wine bottle.

This time, Jessica's white dress was almost entirely stained red.

Jessica was in a mess.

Because her dress was wet, Jessica's belly became more noticeable and slightly transparent.

Efren looked at her with guilt, saying "Sorry" while taking off his coat to give to Jessica.

But Efren didn't expect this action to further infuriate his wife, Aubrey.

Aubrey yanked the coat away and glared at Jessica, "You're something, looking so pitiful and attracting men."

"But let me warn you, he is my husband. From today on, stay out of our lives. If you dare to bother us again, don't blame me for being rude."

Fixing her hair, Jessica finally started to react.

"Miss, I think you should..."

However, before she could finish, Aubrey interrupted her again, "And that bastard in your belly, get rid of it immediately."

"I'm telling you, I will never allow my husband to have a bastard outside. If you can't bear to do it, I'll do it for you."

At that moment, Efren grabbed the wine from the table and splashed it on Aubrey.

The cold wine instantly calmed Aubrey down.

Efren quickly said, "Apologies to this lady right now. I don't even know her; she just came over to ask for directions."

But Aubrey didn't believe him.

Jessica wiped the wine off her face and was about to speak.

At this moment, Louie rushed in with a bag.

Seeing Jessica's state, he immediately took off his coat and put it on her, asking, "Mrs. Walton, what happened?"

Seeing this, Aubrey realized. that she might have mistaken Jessica for someone else.

Efren kept apologizing and explained what had happened.

Louie, however, was unforgiving. He grabbed another bottle of wine and poured it over Aubrey from head to toe.

"It's best if our Mrs. Walton is okay. If she or the baby has any problems, we won't let you off."

With that, Louie escorted Jessica out.

Jessica went to the restroom to clean up and change into clean clothes.

Even so, on the way back, Jessica sat in the car unusually quiet.

She just sat there, not saying a word the entire time.

Louie noticed and was anxious.

Finally, he couldn't help but say, "Mrs. Walton, if you feel unsatisfied, we can go back."

Jessica shook her head, "No, it's not about them."

With that, she fell silent again.

By the time they got home, it was already gray and gloomy.

But Jessica didn't want to go inside; she said she wanted to walk in the garden.

Louie knew he couldn't persuade her, so he said, "Mrs. Walton, I'll accompany you. If you need anything, just call me."

"Okay."

After walking in the garden for a while, Jessica sat on a bench.

Looking at Louie, she suddenly spoke, "Do you know why I'm so sad all of a sudden?"

Louie looked over, unsure how to respond.

Jessica continued, "I'm not sad because I was bullied, but because when I was bullied, Gabriel could no longer be by my side to support and protect me."

"If Gabriel were here today, he would never let me be bullied, and he would never let anyone call me a slut."

"Louie, do you know? I miss Gabriel so much."

"After we've finally overcome so many obstacles together, just when we were about to be a happy family, we have to face so many unexpected events?"

"I was always so sure that he hadn't left, but now, even I am not sure anymore."

"Gabriel, where are you? Please come out, okay?"

"I can't hold on anymore. Every second without you is torture."

"I'm begging you, Gabriel, please come back, okay?"

By the end, Jessica was already in tears.

Louie looked at Jessica with a pained expression, realizing how clumsy he was, unable to say a single comforting word.

Seeing the tears on her cheeks, he immediately reached for a tissue.

But he couldn't find any tissues.

In the end, Louie could only take out the silk handkerchief from his suit pocket and carefully hand it to Jessica, "Mrs. Walton, crying too much isn't good for you. You're pregnant, and crying for too long will hurt your eyes. Please wipe your tears."

Jessica looked up, surprised to see the silk handkerchief.
