Chapter 746 Foreshadowing
At the break of dawn, Quentin received a call from Willie.
Quentin glanced at Grace, who was sound asleep beside him. He got up and went to the balcony to take the call.
"Mr. Taft, Marlon has exposed Beth's suicide to the media. Now, almost all the media outlets are outside the hospital, demanding the latest updates."
"The entire hospital is surrounded. I've already had all the doors blocked."
Quentin let out a mocking laugh, a cold sound escaping his throat. "Marlon really couldn't wait, not even for a second."
"Exactly. As soon as Marlon got the news that Beth had passed, he contacted the media. It seems he was well-prepared."
"Where is Beth now?" Quentin asked.
"According to your instructions, she's been taken care of. She's not in any immediate danger, but it might take some time for her to wake up."
"Alright, keep her safe. She'll be very useful."
"Mr. Taft, what about the media?"
Willie couldn't decide on this matter.
After all, once the media exposed it, the person most hurt would be Grace.
He knew Quentin's character very well.
If Grace were to suffer any grievance, none of them would have a good time, so he called to ask for instructions.
"Hold on!"
With that, Quentin hung up the phone.
When he went back inside, Grace had just opened her eyes.
Grace rubbed her sleepy eyes and habitually hugged his waist, leaning into his chest. "Why are you up so early? Do you have an early meeting?"
"Willie just called. Beth is not in any immediate danger and is temporarily safe. Don't worry."
Hearing this, Grace let out a big sigh of relief.
If Marlon had used Beth's life as a means to get back at Grace, Grace would have felt guilty for the rest of her life.
"But Marlon thinks Beth is already dead," Quentin continued.
Grace's eyes widened in surprise. "How could that be?"
But she quickly understood.
It must have been Quentin who had Willie intervene and put in a lot of effort.
"Grace," Quentin suddenly hugged her, gently calling her name while stroking her smooth hair. "I have an idea that can make you famous again and completely ruin Marlon, but you might have to endure some hardship."
"What idea?"
After Quentin finished speaking, Grace was in shock, her mind racing.
Thinking she disagreed, he immediately said, "It's okay. With my abilities, there are many ways to make you famous."
Unexpectedly, as soon as he finished speaking, Grace grabbed him. "Quentin, I agree."
"I understand what you mean. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and since Marlon brought this trouble upon himself, why not go with the flow?"
Quentin nodded. "Exactly."
"Then go ahead and do it!" Grace encouraged.
Immediately, Quentin called Willie.
"Let all the media in. It's best to help Marlon make this as big as possible."
Willie was stunned for a moment.
But he quickly understood. "Okay, Mr. Taft, I'll get right on it."
"Alright, if you handle this well, your year-end bonus will be doubled."
Hearing this, Willie was so excited that he rubbed his hands together!
His year-end bonus had almost been completely deducted. If he didn't earn some back, he wouldn't even have money to get married in the future.
Soon, the media swarmed the hospital.
To avoid disrupting the hospital's order, Marlon moved the interview to an open space behind the hospital.

"It's all my fault. I didn't take good care of Beth. I didn't understand her mental state in time. I didn't care enough about her."
"Otherwise, she wouldn't have been so depressed every day, wouldn't have been so overwhelmed by online bullying, and wouldn't have ended up taking a large amount of sleeping pills."
