Chapter 532 Has Francis Recovered Some Memories?

Francis stood there for a long time without answering.

Jessica smiled and looked at him, "What, are you scared now?"

"Didn't you believe that I hit her and bullied her?"

"Fine, I agree to your terms," Francis said.

"Then think it through. When I say three days and three nights, it means you have to stay by my side without leaving, be with me all the time."

"You have to eat with me, coax me to sleep, walk with me. Wherever I go, you go. Can you do that?"

Francis hesitated.

He looked at Jessica, his eyes deep, "Can't we do it another way?"

"You know I have a fiancée."

Jessica firmly shook her head, "No, there's no room for negotiation. Think it over yourself."

With that, she got up and went upstairs.

Francis watched her figure as she walked away. Just as Jessica was about to disappear, he shouted upstairs, "Fine, I agree."

"Are you sure you've thought it through? Once you agree, there's no backing out."

"I'm sure."

"Alright."

Jessica smiled and walked down.

"Louie."

As soon as Jessica called, Louie quickly walked in, "Mrs. Walton, what can I do for you?"

"Is everything I asked for ready?"

"Yes, it's ready. I'll go get it right away."

A few minutes later, Louie came down with a computer.

It showed the surveillance footage of Celia storming to the door, clearly showing her being unreasonable to Louie.

At this moment, Jessica opened a recording on her phone and placed it in front of Francis.

"Listen to what she said, look at what she did, and judge by normal standards if I should have fought back."

Soon, Celia's voice came through.

"Honestly, you're pretty, but I didn't expect you to be so shameless. How dare you seduce Francis with that big belly of yours."

"You shameless adulterer, who are you to talk to me?"

Francis's expression gradually darkened.

After listening to all the recordings and watching the videos, Jessica spoke, "Let me reiterate, you are my husband. You just lost your memory. Celia is just an adulterer now."

"So, what right does Celia have to act all high and mighty in front of me? I've already given her enough respect for your sake. Otherwise, she'd be spending the night at the police station."

Francis closed the computer and looked at Jessica, "Celia was impulsive. As for what she said, I apologize on her behalf."

"On her behalf? In what capacity? As her fiancé?" Jessica couldn't help but question.

"But Francis, get it straight. You are not Celia's fiancé. You are my husband. So, what right do you have to apologize on her behalf?"

"Ms. Morgan, until I regain my memory, I'm afraid it's hard for me to believe what you say or our relationship."

Francis's words were calm but heartless.

Jessica turned around, wiping away her tears secretly.

But soon, Jessica turned back, her expression cold, "Fine, whether you believe it or not, you lost. According to our agreement, you have to stay here for three days and three nights."

"Unless I allow it, you are not to leave during these three days."

Francis frowned.

But Louie had already locked the door.

Jessica looked at the time on her phone and spoke calmly, "It's 2 PM now. Three days from now at 2 PM, I will let you go as promised. Don't worry, I won't keep you a minute longer."

"Hope you keep your word."

After reaching an agreement, Jessica went upstairs for a nap.

Louie followed her up, looking at the worry on Jessica's face, Louie felt particularly concerned.

"Mrs. Walton, is this going to work?"

"I don't know. It might work, or it might just be my wishful thinking. In the end, it could all be for nothing."

"Mrs. Walton, if it were me, I would just get some people to tie Mr. Walton up and bring him back, completely cutting off his contact with Celia. As long as he stays by your side, isn't that all that matters?"

"Louie, you know, I've thought about that too. Sometimes I even think, even if he never regains his memory, as long as he stays with me, it's enough."

"But." Jessica smiled bitterly, "People are strange. Once you've experienced being loved tenderly by someone, enjoyed all his care, affection, and pampering, you can't bear his cold attitude anymore."

"I want Gabriel, the one who loves me, cares for me, pampers me, and treats me as his wife, not just a shell, a walking corpse."

"If that's the case, I'd rather set him free."

After a nap, in the evening, Jessica made a menu.

It was full of dishes she loved, and also dishes Gabriel was good at making.

"What's wrong?" Seeing him frown at the menu, Jessica asked.

"These dishes are not from around here. I don't know how to make them," Francis said.

"No, you can make them."

Then, Jessica flipped through the photo album and showed Francis a picture of a table full of food.

"I believe you can do it," she said, her eyes full of certainty.

With a doubtful attitude, Francis went into the kitchen.

But to his surprise, as soon as he got the ingredients, his hands mechanically started cutting them.

Not only that, but he also didn't need to look up the cooking steps.

It was as if those things were ingrained in his mind.

As if he had done it countless times.

What seasoning to add, how much water, and how much salt?

Everything came naturally.

Even his mind occasionally flashed a few images, but they were very brief, always fleeting.

When he tried to grasp them, the images had already disappeared.

Over an hour later, Francis placed all the dishes on the table.

Jessica handed her phone to Louie, "Arrange them like in the photo."

"Okay, Mrs. Walton."

When Francis finished washing his hands and saw the table full of dishes, he almost felt like he had traveled through time.

Francis's eyes widened in disbelief.

At that moment, Francis's head suddenly started to ache intensely.

Francis pressed his head, trying to support himself, but the fragmented images in his mind kept crashing in.

Francis tried to think, but as soon as he exerted himself, his head hurt.

"Francis, what's wrong?"

Jessica walked over.

Francis held his head in pain, "My head hurts. I think I saw something."

Hearing this, Jessica immediately became anxious, "You said you saw something? Tell me quickly, what did you see?"

Francis held his head.

But Jessica was already so nervous she was incoherent, "Quick, tell me, what do you see in your mind?"
