Chapter 241 Dealing with Diana

"Grace, how are you?" Jessica asked worriedly.

Seeing Grace's disheveled appearance, Jessica was terrified.

"Grace, say something. Don't scare me." Jessica was a bit anxious.

More importantly, as soon as she finished speaking, Diana started crying to Gabriel. "Gabriel, save me.

"Look! My hair is falling out."

Diana pointed at Grace and accused angrily, "She stormed in here like a madwoman, yelling at me and pouring water all over my hair - hot and cold! Look, she even soaked the blanket on my bed."

"Enough." At this moment, Jessica couldn't hold back any longer and shouted.

In the past, she didn't want to make things too difficult for Gabriel, so she never made a big deal out of things.

But today, her bottom line was crossed.

Grace stood there without saying a word.

Diana started crying and playing the victim.

When Jessica pushed aside Grace's hair and saw the bloodstain on her face, she was completely furious.

She was very angry.

Her entire body shook with rage.

After pulling Grace aside, Jessica walked back to Diana.

This time, she straightened her back, her face no longer calm and composed, her eyes as sharp as ice daggers. "Diana, you've crossed my line.

"I've said before. It's not that I won't fight back. I just don't want to bother with you, but this time." As she spoke, Jessica raised her hand and slapped Diana across the face.

The crisp sound echoed instantly in the room.

No one expected this slap.

So, not only Diana, but even Grace and Gabriel were caught off guard.

"Jessica, how dare you? You dare to hit me?" Diana looked at her in disbelief.

With a cold glance, Jessica raised her hand and slapped her again.

Diana covered her face, crying pitifully, "Gabriel, are you really not going to do anything? She's going to kill me."

Jessica said coldly, "Diana, you better pray that the wound on Grace's face is fine and won't leave any scars, or I will make you pay back bit by bit.

"Remember, whatever you used to hurt Grace, I will use the same on you. If you don't believe me, just wait and see.

"Grace, let's go."

With that, Jessica didn't even look at Gabriel and pulled Grace away.

Gabriel caught up and grabbed Jessica's hand. "The clinic is on the second floor. I'll take you there."

"No need." Jessica coldly refused, "Stay here with your beloved. I said, since you've chosen her, there's nothing between us anymore."

She continued, "Also, I advise you to keep her in check. If there's a next time, I won't mind teaching her how to behave."

"Jessica." Gabriel still held her hand. "Don't be angry. The wound on Grace's face needs immediate treatment. Her identity is sensitive, she can't have any scars."

"Thank you for your concern, Mr. Walton, but there's no need. Even if I end up with a scar, I won't treat it in a hospital that deals with that insane and cripple woman. I find it unlucky." Grace finally spoke.

These words made Diana very angry.

Soon, Jessica and Grace left.

Seeing Gabriel stay behind, Diana was a bit happy and immediately squeezed out a few more tears, pitifully saying, "Gabriel, my face hurts."

However, as soon as she spoke, Diana realized something was wrong.

In front of her, Gabriel was walking towards her step by step, and more importantly, his eyes were cold, almost devoid of any warmth.

Those eyes were like sharp swords, making her feel scared.

"Gabriel. What's wrong with you? You're scaring me..." Diana said fearfully.

But before she could finish her sentence.

Suddenly, she felt a choking sensation on her neck, her chin was grabbed tightly by Gabriel.

Diana shouted loudly, gasping for air, "Gabriel, let go, let go of me.

"I can't breathe, let go."

But it was useless.

Gabriel looked at her, his gaze as cold as a ghost, "I warned you not to provoke her, but you completely ignored my words, didn't you?"

"Her?" Diana sneered.

Jessica, Jessica again.

Why was she the only one in his heart? Could't he see everything she'd done for him?

"Let go, Gabriel. I'm dying, let go." Diana shouted in pain, frantically slapping Gabriel.

Just when she was about to take her last breath, Gabriel finally let go of her.

Diana immediately gasped for air.

After a while, she looked at Gabriel in front of her, her face pale. "Gabriel, even if you don't love me, I saved you at a great cost. Can't you have a little pity for me?

"I know you love Jessica, I don't even hope for your love anymore. I just want a little pity, a little sympathy, can't you give me even that?"

Gabriel looked at her, his gaze still terrifyingly cold. "You should be grateful you saved me, otherwise I wouldn't be so lenient with you.

"As I said, the legs are yours. If you want the surgery, there's a chance you can stand again; if you don't, I'll cancel all the preparations, and there won't be another chance."

"Gabriel," Diana looked at him with red eyes. "you're forcing me to have the surgery now?"

"I said, it's a choice. Do it or don't, it's up to you, but there's only one chance today." With that, Gabriel walked towards the door.

Diana knew he was leaving, she immediately reached out and grabbed him. "No, Gabriel, don't go. I won't let you go.

"I promise you. I'll do it, but you also promised me, you said you'd stay with me."

"That was before, now, it's impossible." Gabriel looked at her, his voice as cold as ever.

But Diana was unwilling, she held onto him tightly.

Gabriel turned around, reached out, and pried her fingers off one by one.

Then, he pulled her hands away completely.

She shouted, "Gabriel, no.

"Don't leave me."

"Please don't leave me." Diana cried out desperately.

But it was useless.

Gabriel pushed her away and left without looking back.

Leaving the hospital, Gabriel ran frantically, trying to catch up with Jessica and Grace.

But he was a step too late.

Getting into his car, he drove straight to the hospital where they were headed.
