Chapter 194 Gabriel Under Siege
Gabriel looked at Diana, who had come to see him, and frowned.
Seeing Gabriel, Diana bit her lip, looking delicate and fragile.
"Gabriel, I'm sorry. I know you don't want to see me, but I really miss you."
"Diana, I think I've made it very clear. From the moment I decided to send you abroad, I'm done with you."
"No." Diana shook her head, crying bitterly, "I don't believe it. I am your first love, and we have been together for so many years. I believe you still love me, but Jessica is your wife, so you have to take responsibility."
"You're wrong." Gabriel's gaze was very calm. "The person I love now is Jessica. I treat her well not out of responsibility, but because I genuinely want to make her happy."
"So, Diana, let it go. It's better for you, for me, and for Jessica."
Diana clutched her chest, feeling waves of pain.
She couldn't believe what Gabriel was saying.
He didn't love her anymore?
She was his first love, his favorite.
How could he just say he didn't love her anymore ?
And even turn around and fall in love with Jessica, who had ruined their relationship.
"Gabriel." Diana looked at him with tearful eyes. "How can you do this to me? I can accept that you don't love me anymore, that you're in love with someone else, but why does it have to be Jessica? Don't you remember, she was the one who ruined our relationship. If it weren't for her, we wouldn't have broken up."
"Diana." Suddenly, Gabriel raised his voice.
His gaze pierced her sharply. "I won't allow you to slander her."
"You're defending her, huh?"
"When we broke up, it had nothing to do with her. We had already broken up long before I married Jessica. Don't you remember, you were the one who wanted to break up, saying I didn't care about you, didn't defend you."
As soon as Gabriel said this, Diana's face turned red with embarrassment.
"But I was just impulsive at the time. Gabriel, I never really wanted to break up with you. I loved you so much. How could I leave you? I was just throwing a tantrum, wanting you to coax me. I never thought that as soon as we broke up, your grandfather would arrange a marriage for you."
"Gabriel, I'm sorry, I was wrong. I truly regret it. If I had known what would happen later, I would never have broken up with you."
Diana grabbed Gabriel's arm, crying pitifully and sadly.
Gabriel sighed, reached out, and pulled Diana's arm down. "Diana, some things are just like that. Once missed, they're missed. Why be so obsessed?"
"I love you so much. How can I not be obsessed? Gabriel, please, don't leave me, okay?"
Diana cried until her eyes were red, her voice trembling. "Even if I don't want anything, I don't ask for a title or status, just let me stay by your side, okay?"
"Impossible."
Gabriel didn't even think about it and refused without hesitation.
"I won't hurt Jessica. Please don't let me lose sight of you."
"I've said it, let's not contact each other anymore, just be like strangers. It's better for both of us."
"Leave now!"
After saying that, Gabriel prepared to close the door.
Diana bit her lip, her heart feeling like it was being cut by a knife.
Even though she had said so much, even begged, he was still unmoved.
Just as the door was about to close, Diana suddenly reached out to block it. "Fine, I promise you, from now on, I won't bother you anymore."
"I know you won't let me stay in the same hotel with you, but it's so late. Can you bear to let me go back alone?"
"I'll have someone take you back."
Gabriel reached out to make a call.
Diana immediately refused. "No need. If someone else takes me, I'd rather go back alone."
"Gabriel, this is the last time. After tonight, we might never see each other again. Can you take me back one last time?" Diana earnestly requested.
Seeing that Gabriel didn't immediately refuse, as if he was hesitating, Diana seized the opportunity. "This is my last wish."
Finally, Gabriel nodded.
Diana immediately smiled, overjoyed. "Really, Gabriel, you really agreed?"
"Yes."
"Then wait for me, I need to use the restroom."
In the restroom, the pitiful look on Diana's face disappeared without a trace.
Instead, it was a face full of sinister malice.
Diana looked at the mirror, her lips moving, her face filled with a chilling aura.
"Jessica, it's all your fault."
"Just wait, I will come back."
"Gabriel is mine, no one can take him away."
Before leaving the restroom, Diana took out her phone and made a call, her tone filled with sinister malice. "Execute the second plan."
Then, she removed the SIM card and threw it in the restroom.
The street at 3 a.m. was exceptionally quiet.
When Gabriel took Diana out, the temperature was very low, and the wind was howling.
He looked at Diana. She was only wearing a long dress, shivering and trembling, her face pale without a trace of blood.
In the end, he couldn't bear it and took off his coat, handing it to her.
"Which way?" Gabriel asked.
Because Diana said the place she was staying was not far, just a ten-minute walk, she didn't drive.
"To the right, past two traffic lights, turn right, and then past two more traffic lights."
"Okay."
They had just walked a little when suddenly, a series of loud roaring sounds came from behind.
Immediately, motorcycles sped past them, making a piercing and noisy sound.
This situation was common at night, so Gabriel didn't pay much attention, thinking it was just someone racing at night.
However, two minutes later, he clearly sensed hewas wrong.
His keen sense of alertness immediately detected a dangerous atmosphere.
"Diana, come here."
Shouting, Gabriel immediately pulled Diana behind him to shield her.
Sure enough, the next moment, those motorcycles, as if coordinated, quickly surrounded them, forming an impenetrable circle.
Gabriel and Diana were surrounded inside.
"Mr. Walton, it wasn't easy to catch you coming out. If it weren't for us staking out all night, we would have missed you." From the crowd, a scar-faced man, Paul Harris, walked out.
Seeing him, Gabriel's eyes immediately narrowed. "It's you?"
"Surprised? Mr. Walton."
"How dare you show up in front of me again?"
Paul laughed loudly. "I know, in your motherland, your power is overwhelming. You have a bunch of bodyguards wherever you go. I can't touch you there. But here, it's a different story. You are alone, while I have a group with me."
"Surprising, isn't it? That I would go to such lengths just to bother you?"
