Chapter 453 Father and Son Confrontation 2
"Jonah, just wait, I won't let you off the hook."
On the road, Jack ran while squinting to look for Jonah's car.
Suddenly, he finally saw that familiar car.
He floored the gas pedal, accelerating wildly without blinking.
With a loud crash, the front of his car slammed into the rear of Jonah's.
Jack tossed the keys to the driver. "Take the car back, don't wait for me."
The violent impact forced Jonah's car to brake suddenly and stop.
"Mr. Walton, there's been an accident, are you okay?" the driver in the front asked anxiously.
Before he could finish speaking, suddenly, the window was pounded on violently.
He turned his head and saw a young man furiously banging on the window, his expression terrifyingly pale. "Open the door, get out."
Faced with such a scene, the driver didn't dare to drive off.
He turned to look at Jonah while reaching for his phone. "Mr. Walton, he is very dangerous, we should call the police!"
"No need," Jonah suddenly spoke.
"Mr. Walton!"
"You get out first, open the door."
Since Jack had chased him down so aggressively, he wouldn't stop until he achieved his goal.
"Mr. Walton, no, he's so aggressive and will hurt you."
"Don't worry, he wouldn't dare do anything to me."
After all, ethically and biologically, he was still Jack's father.
With a sigh, the driver could only open the door and get out.
As soon as the driver pushed the door open, Jack yanked him out of the car.
Immediately after, Jack got into the driver's seat, floored the gas pedal, and the car sped down the wide road.
Seeing this, the driver quickly called Danielle. "Mrs. Walton, there's a problem! Mr. Walton has been taken away by an angry young man."
"What young man?"
As she asked the question, she already had an answer in her mind.
"He is 5'11", tall and thin, wearing a blue pinstripe suit, looking particularly intimidating, and he crashed into our car."
"Alright, I understand, you come back first."
From the driver's description, the young man must be Jack.
He drove the car at breakneck speed.
It wasn't until they reached a deserted dam that Jack suddenly slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a stop.
Because of the sudden stop, Jonah, sitting in the back, lurched forward violently.
Before Jonah could regain his composure, the door was suddenly opened.
Then, Jack grabbed him by the collar and yanked him out forcefully.
"Jonah, you can't be serious! Do you know what my mom just said?"
"You treated her like that, and it's laughable! She still thinks you care and love her. She even defends you, hoping you'll come back to her and treat her well."
"My mom, who loves beauty so much, has been driven to this state by your wife. If you have any sense of responsibility as a man, you need to step up."
Compared to Jack's rage and madness, Jonah appeared exceptionally calm.
"I know you're angry, but I already told you clearly, that I never loved your mom. In this life, I've only ever loved my wife."
With a disdainful sneer, Jack looked at him as if hearing a joke. "Jonah, you're full of lies, so hypocritical."
"Only love your wife? Then how did you end up with my mom, and how was I born?"
"Don't give me that nonsense about a moment of weakness or the idea that men can't control themselves sometimes. Jonah, I won't believe it. Since you got involved with my mom and had me, with your blood running through my veins, you should take responsibility for us."
"Jack, whether you believe it or not, everything that happened back then, your birth, was all a misunderstanding. I have no intention of hurting you. But if you keep pushing, the only one who will get hurt is you."
As soon as Jonah finished speaking, suddenly, there was a loud bang.
Unable to bear it any longer, Jack's fist landed on Jonah's face.
"Jonah, stop pretending to be pitiful and disgusting. This punch is for my mom. Despite her deep love for you and all the grievances she's suffered over the years, you are so heartless!"
Another punch.
Jack hit even harder, landing on Jonah's chin and mouth.
"This punch is for me. Since I was born, you haven't taken on any of your responsibilities as a father. You don't deserve the title!"
"Do you know? I hate you, I wish you would just die."
"But I have to pray that you stay alive, so you can watch me destroy everything you care about, one by one."
Releasing him, Jack walked forward, his body straight and rigid.
Jonah's aged voice called out from behind, "Jack, don't be impulsive!"
"You can hate me, but don't do something you'll regret for the rest of your life."
"The relationship between your mom and me was a mistake from the start. We were never meant to be together, so why persist in this?"
Jonah intended to persuade Jack, to tell him not to make futile struggles and sacrifices.
Not to mention that Jack wouldn't succeed.
Even if he did, given countless chances by God, he would never choose Patricia and Jack.
He hoped Jack could let go of his hatred and obsession.
However, Jonah's words not only failed to comfort Jack but made him even more obsessed and hateful.
At the Walton Manor.
Gilbert and Freddy had already finished school.
Danielle was playing with them.
A large clock hung on the wall, and she kept glancing at it from time to time.
In half an hour, she had looked at it several times.
Finally, there was a knock on the door. "Mrs. Walton, Mr. Walton's driver is back. Should I let him in?"
"Yes, let him in."
Seeing Danielle, the driver vividly and exaggeratedly described Jack's furious demeanor when he saw Jonah.
"They met twice?" Danielle asked.
The driver nodded vigorously. "Yes, both times the young man was furious and impulsive. The first time he almost hit Mr. Walton, and the second time was even worse. He probably couldn't hold back."
"Maybe he already hit Mr. Walton."
"Mrs. Walton, should we send someone to rescue Mr. Walton?"
Danielle shook her head. "No need, he wouldn't dare confront him. He might be back soon."
"Go on."
After all, Jonah was Jack's father.
No matter how ruthless Jack was, he wouldn't go as far as to hit Jonah.
Another half hour passed, and Danielle's glances at the clock became even more frequent.
Finally, Gilbert couldn't take it anymore.
He put down his remote-controlled car and sighed, "I don't understand you adults. Grandma is worried about Grandpa, so why not go find him?"
