Chapter 695 Provocation 2

"I won't allow you to leave, and I definitely won't allow you to go find that bitch."

"Did you hear me clearly?"

Marlon had been holding back before, but now he was completely exploding.

Especially seeing Beth's tear-streaked, hysterically roaring face, he felt even more repulsed.

"Beth, let go!"

"I won't. Marlon, I told you, I won't let you leave."

Beth screamed at him hysterically, "Don't forget who helped you get to where you are today? If it weren't for me, you'd still be that unknown guy in the audition room, sleeping in the basement, eating takeout, playing beggars and dead bodies, and no one would hire you for fifty bucks a day as an extra."

"Marlon, remember, you can never repay my kindness in your lifetime. If you dare to bite the hand that feeds you, I will make you pay. I want to see how you can stand firm in the entertainment industry without my help."

Marlon was already very angry.

After hearing Beth's words, he could no longer control himself.

Clenching his fist, he slammed it hard against the door.

The muffled sound of the impact suddenly echoed in Beth's ears, startling her.

At that moment, Marlon's gaze towards her was bloodshot and terrifying, like a raging beast.

His eyes were red, and his voice was hoarse. "Beth, I'm really fed up with you. Don't think that just because I took a few resources from you, you can do whatever you want with me and control everything about me."

"I'm telling you, I'm a person, not a dog. I don't need to please you all the time, wagging my tail and begging."

"I've explained many times that there's nothing between Grace and me. I told you not to be paranoid, but you just wouldn't listen and kept pestering me."

"Also, our relationship was supposed to be secret. We agreed not to make it public to avoid affecting our careers and futures."

"Do you know how dangerous it was for you to confront me today? Do you want everyone to know about our relationship?"

Beth wiped away her tears and looked up at him arrogantly.

"Whether to keep it a secret or not is up to me."

"Marlon, if you dare to flirt with Grace again, I don't mind making our relationship public. Let's see if you can handle the stigma of cheating. Don't forget, in our circle, once you're associated with words like cheating and scumbag, your future is completely ruined."

"I want to see if Grace is worth the risk, betting your entire future."

After saying that, Beth watched as the color drained from his face.

Then his face turned pale.

His embarrassment, his fear, and his dread made her very satisfied.

Beth laughed out loud, very pleased.

"Marlon, I knew it. You're a coward. You wouldn't risk your future."

"I've seen through you. In your heart, the most important thing is your future. Nothing is more important than your reputation and career. So what if you like Grace? You wouldn't bet on yourself. Since that's the case, stay by my side, listen to me for the rest of your life, and don't think about fooling around."

"This time, I can forgive you. If there's a next time, I can't guarantee what I'll do."

"Beth, you're insane."

At that moment, Marlon looked at her in horror.

Then he reached out and yanked her away, "Get out."

With that, he opened the door and quickly walked out.

In the hallway, Marlon thought about what had just happened, especially Beth's words ringing in his ears.

Suddenly, his eyes became deep and dark.

After Linda left, Grace couldn't sleep.

Calling Quentin, she found the balcony very comfortable, so she moved a chair to the balcony to enjoy the breeze.

Suddenly, under the tree in front of her, she saw a familiar figure.

In the middle of the night, why was Marlon standing under the tree alone?

It looked like Marlon was smoking.

However, she had no interest in Marlon.

Just as Grace was about to go inside to sleep, a flash of red caught her eye.

Why was Beth here, too?

Marlon had smoked a lot, but no amount of smoking could relieve the anger and frustration in his heart.

Seeing Beth approaching, he immediately put out the cigarette and threw it on the ground.

Marlon turned around, not wanting to deal with her.

Beth had calmed down a lot and realized she had overreacted.

After coming to her senses, she felt a bit regretful.

So Beth came to find him in person.

"Marlon, don't ignore me!"

She walked up to him, standing in front of him, "I'm sorry, I know I was wrong."

"I said a lot of hurtful things to you just now."

"But I didn't mean it. I just love you too much, care about you too much. I'm afraid you'll leave me. Marlon, please forgive me, okay?"

After saying that, Beth suddenly lunged forward and hugged Marlon.

Marlon was still angry, so he immediately pushed Beth away.

Beth started crying, "Marlon, I was wrong."

"I can't live without you. Please don't be mad, okay?"

"By the way, haven't you always wanted to be on that magazine? I'll call tomorrow and do everything I can to get it for you."

Marlon finally looked at her, his tone much softer, "Are you serious?"

"Of course I'm serious. I'll call tomorrow."

"Who asked you about that? I mean, do you really know you were wrong?"

Beth nodded vigorously, "Yeah. I won't do it again. Please forgive me, okay?"

Beth leaned in, standing on her tiptoes, and pressed her red lips to his.

Marlon didn't push her away and just let her kiss him.

Two minutes later, suddenly, Marlon took control, grabbed Beth's waist, and pressed her against the tree trunk, kissing her fiercely.

And Beth wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Marlon, this is outside. Can we go back to the room?" Beth shyly hid in his arms.

"Okay."

On the balcony, Grace was shocked by what she saw.

Beth and Marlon were dating?

It was so unexpected that it took Grace a while to react.

However, thinking about it this way, Beth's tantrums and constant trouble during the day seemed to have a reasonable explanation. Everything made sense.

Raising her phone, Grace quickly took several photos of the two being intimate and saved them on her phone.
