Chapter 188 Let Go, You're Hurting Me

After finishing their steak, Grace and Jessica decided to hit the shops.

Grace hoped a little retail therapy would help Jessica forget her worries for a while.

They had a blast.

Grace helped Jessica pick out some cute dresses, and when Jessica tried them on, Grace snapped a few photos.

Then she sent them to Gabriel.

"You sent my photos to him?" Jessica asked, twirling in a new dress.

Grace nodded. "Yep, I want him to miss you so much on his business trip that he can't wait to come back."

"Then make sure I look good."

"No need, Jess. You're naturally gorgeous. Plus, don't you trust my photography skills?"

Jessica laughed, "I trust you, totally."

A few minutes later, Jessica had bought several outfits, but Grace hadn't picked out anything for herself.

Jessica was puzzled. "Grace, you love shopping. What's up today? You've only been buying stuff for me. Go pick out something for yourself."

Grace hesitated, then said, "I don't feel like it."

"Come on. Didn't you say Gabriel's covering the bill? Go find someyou like."

Thinking about the past few days, Grace's eyes dimmed, and she said, "No, no one will see me in new clothes anyway."

Jessica sensed something was up and gently asked, "Did you have a fight with your boyfriend?"

"Yeah." Grace nodded.

"Want to talk about it?"

"It's just the usual couple stuff. But what really ticks me off is that he doesn't even try to comfort me when I'm mad. He thinks I'll calm down and make up with him, but I won't."

"If he doesn't comfort me this time, I'm not giving in first," Grace said, fuming.

Even when she was angry, Grace was stunning.

Jessica tried to cheer her up, "Grace, you're gorgeous even when you're mad. No wonder you're a star."

"You sweet talker. If Quentin had half your charm, that would be great."

"Well, Ms. Morgan, how about indulging me with the feast of your beauty? This dress is super pretty. Your skin is amazing, and your legs are so long. You'll look stunning in it."

Grace picked up the dress, looked it over, and whispered, "Isn't it a bit too sexy? I don't usually wear stuff like this unless it's for a role."

"That's exactly why you should try it. Grace, you're beautiful with a great figure. It'd be a waste not to dress attractively and a bit sexy."

Grace thought Jessica had a point.

Without much thought, she took the dress and went into the fitting room.

Seeing her go in, Jessica smiled to herself.

She had done it on purpose.

She had just spotted Quentin outside the store window, with Maya Miller by his side.

They were about to come into the store.

She wanted to see Quentin's reaction when he saw Grace looking so sexy and beautiful.

Any guy with a bit of possessiveness would immediately want to hold his lover when he saw her dressed like that.

Soon, Maya dragged Quentin into the store.

Seeing Quentin, Jessica deliberately smiled and greeted loudly, "Hello, Mr. Taft."

Seeing Jessica, Maya immediately became alert and asked, "Who are you?"

Jessica pursed her lips and deliberately didn't answer.

Maya got anxious and almost rushed over.

Quentin held her back. "Just a friend, calm down."

Maya suppressed her anger.

Quentin casually took down a dress and handed it to o try this on."

Maya's face lit up. "Quentin, your taste really matches mine. You think this dress is pretty too? Okay, wait a moment, I'll try it on for you."

She happily took the dress and went into the fitting room.

Quentin then walked towards Jessica. "Where's Grace?"

Quentin smirked, "She had steak with me here today, and then we went shopping together."

"So Mr. Taft knows everything. Are you here to apologize?"

"Why should I apologize? I didn't do anything wrong. She was the one being unreasonable."

Quentin's words were cut off when he saw Grace walk out of the fitting room.

What did he see?

Grace was wearing a pink sheer long dress with a beautiful train at the back. From behind, it looked normal, but under the light, it appeared particularly enchanting.

The material was exceptionally lightweight, and Grace looked stunning in it.

But when she turned around and Quentin saw the front of the dress, his face instantly darkened.

Grace actually dared to wear such a sexy dress.

He had already told her that even in movies and TV shows, she shouldn't wear such revealing outfits.

And now she was wearing it in a store, planning to buy it?

The front of the dress was only lightly covered by a few pieces of sheer fabric. With such thin layers, what could they possibly cover?

Her long, slender legs were completely exposed. If she went out like this, wouldn't all the men outside be staring at her?

Thinking of this, Quentin's anger began to boil.

Grace saw him too. She opened her mouth and said indifferently, "What are you doing here?"

Quentin originally came to see Grace, but when he saw her looking indifferent and speaking in a cold tone, he instantly got angry too.

"Don't get me wrong, I didn't come for you, it's just a coincidence." His tone was icy.

Grace's rosy face immediately turned pale.

At that moment, two couples walked in, and Quentin saw the two men staring straight at Grace.

Their eyes were practically falling out.

Their expressions were extremely lewd.

At that moment, he wished he could gouge out their eyes.

He stepped forward, almost losing his mind, and grabbed Grace.

"Quentin, what are you doing? Let go, you're hurting me."

"Hurting? So you know what pain is?" Quentin couldn't help but curse, "I'm in more pain than you."

He had pushed aside all his work to see her, only to encounter this situation, making him furious.

"Let go of me."

"No way, I won't let go even if I die."

With that, he pulled Grace into the fitting room and locked the door.

The fitting room was already small, and with Quentin's tall figure squeezed in, the space immediately became cramped and narrow.

The air inside also suddenly heated up, becoming thin and ambiguous.
