Chapter 95 I'm Tired, Let Go of Me
Jessica lifted her head in shock, smiling and asking cheerfully, "So, you'll do it?"
She was truly surprised. Since getting in the car, Gabriel had been wearing a stern face the whole time, and she never expected him to agree.
"If I don't, would you willingly to go home?"
Gabriel opened the car door and took out two umbrellas from the trunk.
He opened one umbrella and handed the other one to Jessica. "You go, I'll wait here for you."
"Thank you!" At that moment, Jessica genuinely thanked him.
Vincent had saved her several times, and if they couldn't bid farewell properly today, she would feel really guilty.
Due to the heavy rain, the umbrella in Jessica's hand was blown around by the strong wind. Coupled with Gabriel's long coat that she was wearing, she walked slowly with each step.
Seeing her approaching, Vincent stood up and walked over.
"With such heavy rain, why did you come again? Go home early and rest!" His voice still carried a deep sense of care and thoughtfulness.
Jessica handed him the umbrella in her hand.
Then she looked at the car not far away where he was picked up. "Even though someone had given you an umbrella, you may not necessarily need it, but this is my gratitude. Regardless of whether you need it or not, I want to give it to you."
"Alright, I'll take the umbrella, thank you."
Jessica then looked at Madison, who was walking closely, hesitated for a moment, and said, "I have something to tell you alone."
Vincent looked at Madison. "You wait for me in the car."
"No, I want to wait for you here." Madison quickly held Vincent's arm and coquettishly said.
Vincent pulled his arm away, at the same time leading Madison over, and said gently, "Madison, don't be stubborn. Wait in the car, I'll come in a moment."
Madison pouted, looking a bit reluctant.
But soon, she seemed to have thought of something and immediately put on a smile, "Bro, sis said you might have someone you like now. I didn't believe it at first. But it turns out to be true. Tell me, do you like her?"
"Don't be unreasonable, just go."
"I think you do like her. I've never seen you so gentle and caring toward any other girl before. When other girls pursued you in the past, you were ruthless in rejecting them."
"Alright, now go!"
Finally getting Madison back into the car, Vincent walked back toward Jessica.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting."
"No, it's okay."
After that, they suddenly fell silent.
Jessica sorted out her ideas before speaking again. "Vincent, I'm sorry. Gabriel almost hurt you just now. I want to apologize to you. I'm really sorry. Oh, I haven't introduced him to you yet. His name is Gabriel. He's my husband."
Knowing it was one thing, hearing her say it was another.
Vincent thought he had already calmed down upon learning the truth. But at this moment, hearing all this, his heart couldn't help but beat irregularly, surging like waves.
"Can I ask, how long have you been married?"
"Two years." After Jessica finished speaking, she casually smiled and continued, "We've been married for two years. Originally, we were deeply in love and very affectionate, but it seems like things between him and me..."
Jessica forced a smile on her face. "Maybe our marriage is a bit different from what everyone thinks. I love him very much, but he has someone else in his heart, so our relationship may seem a bit strange."
"What about your pregnancy? Does he know?" Vincent asked.
Jessica shook her head. "He doesn't know yet, so I hope you can keep it a secret."
"Why don't you tell him? He's the father of the child and should take on that responsibility. You're weak now, and the situation isn't very good."
"It's not necessary," Jessica said. "I don't want to use this child as a bargaining chip for anything, whether it's affection or favoritism. If it's meant for me, I don't need to seize it with much effort.
"Vincent, thank you. I didn't expect to tell you so much.
"I'll leave now."
Jessica's figure quickly disappeared into the heavy rain.
The heavy rain fell like countless lines, densely covering the entire mountain, which was completely enveloped by a thick mist.
Her figure grew fainter as she walked further away, eventually becoming indistinct.
In the end, Vincent couldn't see anything.
Soon, their car disappeared into the rain.
Back home, Jessica immediately took a hot bath.
Because she got caught in the rain, she was worried about catching a cold, so she soaked in the hot water for a while to drive away the chill in her body.
When she finally stepped out of the bathroom, she felt warm all over and much more relaxed and comfortable.
But she didn't expect to run into Gabriel right after leaving the bathroom.
He was just entering the room, looking like he had just finished showering. He wore a bathrobe and his hair was still dripping wet.
A gray robe accentuated his handsome features and facial contours, making him look even sharper under the warm yellow light, especially with the masculine aura exuding from his entire body.
Jessica felt a bit shy as she looked up and met Gabriel's eyes, which were filled with heat and intensity. Gabriel was focusing on her.
Without thinking, Jessica immediately tightened her robe around her body and wrapped her arms around herself.
The atmosphere inexplicably grew tense, and under the warm yellow light, neither of them spoke.
Jessica licked her lips, took a step, and passed by Gabriel.
But in the moment they brushed past each other, she was suddenly grabbed by him.
Gabriel's eyes were deep. His gaze become fiery as it landed on Jessica.
She looked beautiful and enticing at that moment.
Her long hair was casually scattered. And the strands blown by the wind had a touch of disheveled beauty, appearing gentle and extremely sexy.
Due to the hot bath, Jessica's face was now tender and beautiful.
Gabriel had been trying hard to restrain himself.
But when he saw her licking her lips, the tension in his heart shattered.
At that moment, all he could think of were the scenes of kissing her last time, her soft and tender lips, plump and tempting like jelly.
Gabriel never thought of himself as a sensual person. In their two years of marriage, the times they had been intimate were few and far between.
The times he kissed her were even fewer.
But since the last two kisses, he felt like he was addicted, as if he had gone mad, craving her desperately.
Jessica was caught off guard immediately, feeling dizzy and disoriented as her body spun around.
In the next moment, she was held by Gabriel around her waist, securely embraced in his arms.
His gaze remained intense.
"I'm tired and want to sleep, let go of me," Jessica said softly.
Gabriel simply held her and placed her on the bed, his deep eyes looking at her again. "Perfect, I'm tired too, I'll sleep with you."
"But I want to sleep alone," Jessica said.
