Chapter 367 Happy Maternity Photos

"You idiot, how could I not want you?" Gabriel confessed his love to Jessica. In this lifetime, even if he lost himself, he didn't want to lose her.

Over the past two months, Jessica's belly had grown quite a bit because she was pregnant with twins.

Usually, it's best to take maternity photos around eight months, but since Jessica's belly was already pretty big, she could take the photos now.

Early Friday morning, she put on a loose dress and headed to the photo studio with Gabriel.

But when they walked in, Jessica never expected to run into Chelsea.

Both of them were stunned.

Standing next to Chelsea was a handsome man, and if she guessed right, it was her fiancé, Henry!

"Here for wedding photos?" Gabriel was the first to speak.

Chelsea immediately took Henry's arm. "Yeah, are you here too?"

As she asked, her heart was still aching, but she suppressed it with all her might, making sure no one could see anything unusual about her.

"Jessica's belly is big now. She wants to keep some photos of her pregnancy, so I'm here with her to take maternity photos," Gabriel replied.

Chelsea's gaze then fell on Jessica's belly, and seeing the bulge, her heart ached again. "Your belly looks quite big. How many months pregnant are you?"

"Over five months, almost six."

"You must be very happy these days!" Chelsea suddenly asked.

Jessica opened her mouth, about to answer, but Chelsea continued, "You look great, enveloped in a gentle and beautiful aura. I can tell just by looking at you. Why should I even ask?"

"Since you're here for maternity photos, you should go ahead. We're here for wedding photos." With that, Chelsea took Henry's arm and left.

However, after a few steps, Chelsea let go of Henry's hand, her expression troubled.

Jessica turned to Gabriel, puzzled. "Chelsea was so determined to marry you. Why did she change her mind?"

"Chelsea's grandfather is in the late stages of liver cancer and doesn't have much time left. He wanted Chelsea to marry me to find her a suitable match, but I clearly refused him."

"As for her marrying Henry, I facilitated that. Mr. Haugen thought it was a good match after considering everything, and Chelsea, knowing her grandfather's condition, chose to comply."

Jessica listened and felt deeply moved. No wonder she felt Chelsea had changed a lot when she saw her again after these few months.

Chelsea's eyes no longer showed the arrogance and willfulness of the past; instead, they were filled with understanding and quietness.

"Suddenly, I feel a bit sorry for her," Jessica said.

Gabriel, curious, asked, "She forced you to leave and separated us. Shouldn't you hate her?"

"Things are different now. I remember you said before that her parents died in a car accident, and her grandfather is her only relative in this world. If her grandfather also passes away, she won't be able to bear it."

Gabriel held Jessica's hand tightly. "That's why I promised Mr. Haugen that we would be her family. If she wants, she can consider my mom as her mother. Jessica, do you mind?"

Jessica shook her head. "I don't mind. Despite everything, she needs support now more than ever. We can be accommodating to her."

Once inside the studio, Jessica was immediately captivated by the maternity photos on display. There were all kinds of them, each more beautiful than the last. However, this also brought many troubles.

When it came time to choose outfits, Jessica became indecisive. She liked this one, but that one looked good too.

After much deliberation, she still couldn't narrow it down to fewer than eight outfits. Realizing she didn't want to get too tired, she decided to limit herself to four or five outfits.

Feeling overwhelmed, she finally handed the album to Gabriel. "You choose. I'll wear whatever you pick."

"Are you sure?" Gabriel asked.

Two minutes later.

The eight outfits Jessica had been agonizing over were almost instantly chosen by Gabriel.

"Are you done? So fast?" Jessica asked.

Gabriel nodded confidently. "Yes, these four look the best."

Jessica nodded and went to change.

However, when she came out after changing, she found Gabriel was asking for a different photographer.

"This photographer is pretty good. They recommended him as their top," Jessica said.

"Yes, he's good, but I still want to change," Gabriel insisted.

Jessica didn't mind, so she went along with Gabriel's decision. While getting her makeup done, Jessica finally understood the reason.

A female staff member leaned over to Jessica, looking envious. "Miss, I so envy you. Your husband loves you so much!"

"Pardon?"

"You probably didn't know since you were changing. Your husband insisted on changing the photographer not because of their skills, but because he wanted a female photographer for you."

"He said if a man took your photos, he would be jealous."

Jessica immediately looked at Gabriel after hearing this, her heart filled with sweetness. No wonder Gabriel insisted on changing the photographer—he was jealous.

Suddenly, Jessica recalled the outfits he had chosen, and now she finally understood why he chose so quickly. His only standard was that the outfits should not be too revealing, so he eliminated the ones with the least fabric.

Jessica found his jealousy adorable. Taking out her phone, she sent a message to Gabriel: [I didn't expect Mr. Walton to be so jealous?]

Gabriel looked at it, just about to reply.

Jessica's message came again.

[But I also find the jealous Mr. Walton very cute.]

[Thank you, Gabriel. Thank you for loving me so earnestly and tenderly.]

[I love you.]

Staring at those words, Gabriel's eyes felt warm and red.

He replied: [I love you too!]

Because Jessica was pregnant, the whole day's shoot was scheduled to be quite relaxed. They took a break for an hour after each outfit. By the time they finished the four outfits, it was already dark.

After the shoot, they went downstairs together, and unexpectedly, they ran into Chelsea again in the lobby.

"What a coincidence!" Jessica said.

"Not really," Chelsea said. "I was specifically waiting here for you. Do you have time? I want to talk to you alone."

"Now?"

Chelsea nodded.

Jessica looked at Gabriel. "Then wait for us here."

"Okay," Gabriel nodded as well.

"Let's go to the second floor!" Chelsea suggested.

On the second floor, Chelsea spoke at once, "Jessica, you won. You won beautifully and brilliantly. Are you being proud of yourself now?"
