Chapter 610 A Happy Family 1
Seeing them reconcile, Jessica and Gabriel happily held hands and walked over.
"Mom!" Jessica and Gabriel shouted in unison.
Seeing them, Danielle immediately wiped the tears from her face and smiled.
"Come over here, let me take a good look at you."
The family gathered together, creating a warm and sweet scene.
"Mom, it's great that you're awake. Our whole family can finally be reunited," Gabriel said, his eyes also brimming with tears.
"I vaguely heard that Jessica had a daughter. Bring her over so I can see her," Danielle said excitedly.
"Mom, it's nighttime. I'll bring Stella over first thing in the morning."
Danielle smiled happily, "Stella, what a beautiful name. The Walton family has had only one boy for generations, and now we have a girl. Jessica, you've worked hard."
"It wasn't hard, Mom. The happiest thing is that you woke up."
The next day, Danielle looked at the pink and adorable Stella in Gabriel's arms, her eyes crinkling with joy.
"Stella is so beautiful, just like Jessica."
"With this look, Stella will be a great beauty when she grows up."
"Look at this little mouth, so pink and plump, and these big eyes, as enchanting as gems."
Although Danielle's body hadn't fully recovered, she was so fond of Stella that she insisted on holding her.
Next to them, Gilbert and Freddy tugged at Jessica's clothes, looking a bit pitiful. "Mommy, Grandma likes Stella!"
"Did Grandma hold us and smile like this when we were born?"
Knowing that Gilbert and Freddy might be a little jealous, Jessica quickly squatted down and patted their heads.
"When you were born, your grandma didn't know, but do you remember the first time you met your grandma?"
"Yes."
Wasn't your grandma so happy holding you like a treasure?
Gilbert and Freddy nodded together, "Yes."
"That's right. Your grandma loves Stella, and so do we, along with Freddy and Gilbert. You three are our treasures. Your dad and I, along with your grandparents, love you all."
"It's just that your grandma is seeing Stella for the first time, so she's especially excited."
Over there, Danielle also noticed and quickly opened her arms, "Gilbert, Freddy, come to me."
"Grandma, you're awake!"
Gilbert and Freddy hugged Danielle tightly, full of attachment.
"Do Freddy and Gilbert like Stella?"
"Yes."
"I like her too, but you were born before Stella, so I've loved you for much longer. So we should all love Stella together, don't you think?"
Gilbert and Freddy thought for a moment and asked, "Grandma, we're older than Stella every year, so you'll always have loved us longer than Stella?"
"That's right, so shouldn't we love Stella even more? Otherwise, what if Stella gets sad when she grows up?"
Gilbert and Freddy immediately nodded vigorously, "Okay, from now on, Mom and Dad, Grandpa, and Grandma should all love Stella more so she won't be sad."
As it turned out, as Stella grew up, the two who were a bit jealous at the time, Gilbert and Freddy, already loved and protected her.
Wherever they went, whatever they did, they always thought of Stella.
After being discharged from the hospital, Danielle went to see Patricia.
Hearing that Danielle had woken up, Patricia's mood was calm, without any fluctuations.
After half a year in prison, Patricia had changed a lot, no longer arrogant and domineering.
"Why are you here? To mock me?"
But facing Danielle, she maintained her ridiculous pride and dignity as always.
"I'm here to ask for the truth," Danielle said.
"What truth? When you wanted to know, it was always within your reach."
"All these years, I've always doubted my heart. How did you give birth to Jack back then?"
"I got pregnant and gave birth. Are you here to ask for the details of that night? Are you sure you want to hear it?" Patricia asked aggressively.
"I'm sure, but do you dare to say it?"
Patricia suddenly looked up, "What do you mean?"
"If I'm not mistaken, Jonah never made love with you back then. I do have doubts. If he didn't do it, how did Jack come about?"
Patricia sneered, "There are still things you don't know."
"Blame yourself for not understanding Jonah back then, which gave me the opportunity."
"That's right, Jonah did drink that water with the aphrodisiac, but his willpower was strong, and he managed to resist doing anything. Everything you saw back then was fake."
"As for the child..."
Halfway through, she looked at Danielle, "If I tell you, will you let me out immediately?"
Danielle shook her head, "Of course not."
"Then why should I tell you?"
"It doesn't matter anymore. I already know what I wanted to know."
After saying that, Danielle walked out.
"Wait," Patricia called out to her.
"Since he no longer belongs to me, there's no point in holding onto a ridiculous secret."
"Danielle, do you know what I hate most about you? You're always so high and mighty, so overbearing, yet he still loves you."
"I once wanted to keep this secret so you would always have a rift with him, but now, I think it's meaningless."
"If I don't tell you, you might never know that he went to the hospital to freeze his sperm. I secretly bought one of his sperm, and that's how Jack came to be."
Danielle was indeed shocked.
She looked at Patricia, "But why are you willing to tell me?"
Patricia's gaze fell on the ring on Danielle's finger.
"If I'm not mistaken, this is your wedding ring. Now that you're wearing it, it means you've reconciled, right?"
Danielle fiddled with the ring and nodded, "Life is ruthless, and I now understand what I want. For the rest of my life, I will live well with him."
Patricia covered her face and suddenly burst into tears, "All these years, I've been deceiving myself, unwilling to believe it, but he only loves you."
"These days, I've been waiting, hoping, dreaming that he would come to see me, but he never did."
"Danielle, I lost."
Two days later, news came from the prison that Patricia had committed suicide.
Patricia's method of suicide was very determined, and by the time she was sent to the hospital, it was too late to save her.
Jack flew back overnight that day.
Jonah went out of his way to see him.
Jack sat in the funeral parlor, his face full of grief, his complexion extremely pale.
"Patricia's death has nothing to do with Danielle. I hope you handle it correctly and don't blame Danielle."
"You came all the way here, not to mourn my mother, but just to clear Danielle's name?" Jack looked at Jonah with resentment, gritting his teeth.
