Chapter 600 Critical Condition Notice

"Honey, the next room, go save Tina."

"You must bring her back to me safely, okay?"

Seeing that Gabriel didn't move, Jessica started crying anxiously, using all her strength to push him. "Hurry, go now!"

"Honey, calm down." Gabriel held her shoulders firmly. "Vincent has already gone. Don't worry, he will protect Tina."

"Vincent went?" Jessica finally calmed down.

Gabriel nodded vigorously. "Yes."

Only then did Jessica feel all her strength drain away.

Even breathing became extremely exhausting.

Another wave of pain hit, and Jessica bit her lip, gripping Gabriel's clothes tightly.

"Gabriel, my amniotic sac has ruptured, take me to the hospital quickly."

Gabriel swiftly picked up Jessica, shouting ambulance as he rushed downstairs.

"Honey, hold on, the ambulance is almost here."

"You and the baby will be fine," Gabriel shouted.

But Jessica was too exhausted, so tired, and in so much pain.

She just wanted to sleep, unable to say another word.

"Honey, open your eyes and look at me, don't sleep," Gabriel yelled in her ear.

"I'm sorry, honey, I really can't hold on, I'm so sleepy, I want to..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Jessica passed out.

Fortunately, the ambulance had arrived.

Gabriel rushed her inside.

At the hospital, Gabriel was trembling as Jessica was wheeled into the operating room.

He was soaked, covered in an amniotic sac.

He didn't even have time to be scared before a nurse approached him with a critical condition notice. "The situation for both the mother and baby is very dangerous. We need to perform an emergency C-section immediately. Please sign here."

Gabriel reached for the pen but found he couldn't hold it.

His hands were shaking uncontrollably.

"Hurry up, now is not the time to hesitate. The mother needs surgery immediately, every second you delay is critical."

Gabriel quickly signed his name.

At the same time, Gabriel, with a hoarse voice, instructed with difficulty, "If only one can be saved, please, no matter what, save my wife."

"Don't worry, we prioritize the mother."

"Thank you!"

What followed was an agonizing wait. Every minute felt like an eternity.

Gabriel stood outside the operating room, staring intently, afraid to even blink, fearing he might miss the moment the door opened.

A few minutes later, Jonah came running.

"How's Jessica?"

"I don't know, she's been in there for a while," Gabriel replied honestly.

Jonah knew how anxious he was and could only pat his shoulder gently to comfort him, "At times like this, we need to stay confident."

"We must believe in Jessica, believe that she will be fine, that she won't leave the newborn baby, Freddy, Gilbert, or you."

Gabriel looked up at Jonah, his face pale.

"Dad, you're right, I need to believe in her."

Another ten minutes passed, and suddenly, Gabriel heard the baby's cries from outside the operating room.

Then, a few louder cries followed.

"The baby is born," Jonah exclaimed.

As soon as he finished speaking, a nurse came out holding the baby.

Gabriel immediately asked, "How's my wife? Is she okay?"

The nurse placed the baby in Gabriel's arms and then said, "The baby was just delivered, and the mother is still being stitched up, we need to monitor her condition."

"Is she out of danger?" Gabriel asked expectantly.

"It's too early to say, we need to observe."

At that moment, another nurse came out and said with concern, "The mother is experiencing severe bleeding, the situation is critical, and you need to be prepared."

Gabriel could hardly believe what he was hearing.

He fainted, and if Jonah hadn't caught him in time, both Gabriel and the baby in his arms would have fallen to the ground.

"Gabriel, hold on."

"If you collapse, what will Jessica do?"

Gabriel's eyes suddenly became determined.

He looked down, and only then did he glance at the baby in the swaddle.

Perhaps sensing Jessica's danger, the baby suddenly started crying loudly.

The cries grew louder and louder.

Gabriel watched as bag after bag of blood was sent into the operating room, and as one professor after another entered.

His anxiety intensified.

"How's Jessica?"

Vincent came running with Tina in his arms, both of them speaking in unison.

Vincent and Tina looked disheveled, Vincent's clothes were slashed, and blood was still slowly oozing out.

Tina's hair was messy, her eyes red and swollen, and her face was covered in bruises.

Although Tina's body was tightly wrapped in Vincent's coat, her exposed arms were covered in cuts, looking very alarming.

"Jessica is experiencing severe bleeding, she's being resuscitated."

Gabriel's voice choked with pain as he said this.

Then, he looked at Vincent. "Take Tina for treatment, Jessica was most worried about her before getting on the ambulance."

Tina shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying here with her."

Suddenly, urgent, heavy footsteps approached.

In an instant, Isaac and Alfonso burst onto the scene.

"Where's Jessica? How's my daughter?" Alfonso asked anxiously.

Gabriel and Vincent looked at Isaac in shock.

Isaac nodded firmly. "He's the one you've been looking for."

He spoke vaguely, not revealing Alfonso's real name.

But they all understood.

Chelsea also arrived with Gilbert and Freddy.

Seeing the sign in the operating room and the serious expressions on everyone's faces, Gilbert and Freddy instantly understood.

They ran over and hugged Jonah's leg. "Grandpa, is Mommy in danger?"

Jonah had been holding on, telling himself to stay strong.

But when he saw Gilbert and Freddy, such small children, his eyes suddenly reddened, his hands trembling, unable to say a word.

Gilbert and Freddy were so young, and there was also a baby in swaddling clothes.

If anything happened to Jessica, Jonah couldn't imagine the future.

Seeing Jonah not speaking, Gilbert and Freddy walked over to Vincent. "Mr. Lucas, how long has Mommy been in there?"

Chelsea couldn't hold back anymore.

She hugged Gilbert and Freddy tightly, assuring them, "Gilbert and Freddy, your mommy is fighting with the Grim Reaper right now, we need to give her strength."

"Will Mommy lose?"

Gilbert and Freddy were children, unable to think calmly at that moment.

Freddy started crying, looking at Gabriel. "Daddy, will Mommy die?"
