Chapter 533 Very Jealous
Francis looked at Jessica.
He opened his lips, gently moving them, wanting to speak.
But Francis's mind was in chaos; he only saw a girl in a white dress.
It was a beautiful and elegant back.
But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't see the girl's face.
He tried hard to think, tried hard to make her turn around.
But Francis's head hurt too much, and he felt like he was going to explode.
Finally, he couldn't bear it anymore.
Holding his head, he squatted on the ground, his face full of pain.
Jessica reached out and hugged him.
Her gentle voice, like a breeze, sounded in his ear, "Alright, don't think about it. If your head hurts, let's not think about it."
"Hold me, and take deep breaths, okay?"
Listening to her words, Francis suddenly felt a wave of calm.
His head didn't seem to hurt as much either.
Following her rhythm, he began to take deep breaths.
"Louie, warm water," Jessica called.
"Mrs. Walton!"
Louie was always quick and immediately handed over a glass of water.
Jessica took it and gently placed it by Francis's mouth, "Drink some water."
At that moment, he nestled in her arms like a wounded child.
Her heart softened instantly.
After drinking the water, it took a while for Francis to calm down.
But the dishes on the table were the same as the photos on her phone.
Francis knew well that such a similarity could not be a coincidence.
During the meal, Jessica ate all the dishes on the table.
Except for the plate of shrimp.
"Why aren't you eating the shrimp?" Francis asked.
"In the past, I never peeled shrimp; he always did it for me."
Everyone understood the implications of her words.
Since Jessica didn't specify, Francis pretended not to know.
But sometimes the body spoke more truthfully than words.
For instance, at this moment, Francis's hands had already skillfully picked up the shrimp and started peeling them seriously.
Then, Francis dipped it in the sauce and placed it in Jessica's bowl.
The whole action was almost seamless.
Jessica looked at the translucent shrimp, suddenly feeling her eyes sting and swell.
If she didn't hold back, the tears would have already fallen.
This was the first time she had eaten shrimp peeled by him since he disappeared.
Since he left, and no one had peeled shrimp for her, she hadn't eaten shrimp again.
She gently forked it and put it in her mouth.
As she chewed, the sweetness of the shrimp and the sourness of the sauce immediately blossomed on her tongue, delighting her taste buds.
"How is it?"
Francis asked nervously.
For some reason, he was so nervous about her evaluation of the shrimp.
Jessica chewed carefully.
Then, she smiled and said softly, "It's delicious, just like before."
"That's good, eat more."
"So, you mean to peel shrimp for me?" Jessica asked.
Francis didn't speak but had already started peeling shrimp one by one and placing them on the plate.
After dinner, Jessica asked him to accompany her for a walk in the yard to get some fresh air.
Francis didn't refuse.
But just as they took a few steps, his phone rang.
They didn't need to think; it must be Celia calling.
"Answer it, I'm not that domineering," Jessica said.
Francis took the phone and walked to the side.
When the call connected, Celia's anxious voice immediately came through, "Francis, why haven't you come back so late today?"
"Celia, I have something to do. I might be back in three days. Take care of yourself at home these days."
"Three days? That long?"
"Yes!"
Francis might have thought he was far from Jessica.
But the yard was not so big; even if he and Jessica were on opposite sides, she could hear what he was saying.
Putting away the phone, Francis walked towards Jessica.
Jessica looked at him, "Why don't you dare to tell the truth?"
"I can't hurt her recklessly."
Francis's answer was very concise.
For such a reason, Jessica found herself speechless.
They walked for a while, and because of her pregnancy, Jessica soon got tired.
She sat on a chair, leaning back slightly.
Neither of them spoke, only the gentle breeze blowing.
For a moment, the silence enveloped them.
Only the bright full moon overhead stood out.
After a while, when Francis turned his head and was about to speak, he found that Jessica had already closed her eyes as if she was sleeping.
Maybe she was extremely tired; she closed her eyes, her head swaying left and right.
That look was incredibly cute.
Suddenly, her head tilted and fell on Francis's shoulder.
Feeling something warm and comfortable, Jessica seemed to notice it too. She moved her body and head, finding a comfortable position.
Then Jessica, with her eyes closed, continued to sleep soundly.
The words Francis was about to say were suddenly retracted.
He didn't disturb Jessica's sleep.
After a long time, the wind got cooler, and Francis, afraid she might get cold, wanted to take off his jacket to cover her.
But he found that with the jacket on and her leaning against him, he couldn't take it off.
At that moment, Louie walked over with a jacket in his hand.
"It's late, cover Mrs. Walton with this, so she doesn't catch a cold."
Francis took it and gently covered her.
Francis's gaze fell on Louie's face, and he asked, "You're a man, yet you think of everything so meticulously. If I remember correctly, you call her Mrs. Walton, so you shouldn't have unrealistic thoughts."
"Mr. Walton is right. I always remember my place. She is Mrs. Walton, and I dare not have any improper thoughts, just doing my duty."
Francis felt utterly bewildered.
He was jealous of Louie, which was completely unreasonable.
"Mr. Walton, I must remind you, if Mrs. Walton doesn't wake up in half an hour, you should carry her to bed."
"Her health is weak, and this pregnancy is very risky. Any mistake could be dangerous, so you must be very careful and take good care of Mrs. Walton."
Francis responded coldly, "Alright, I got it."
When Francis and Louie were talking, Jessica had already woken up.
But she kept her eyes closed and didn't speak.
After Louie left, Francis checked the time; it was almost ten o'clock.
Not waiting any longer, he bent down and picked up Jessica.
She was pregnant and in the later stages, so her weight had increased because of the baby.
But even so, she was not over 130 pounds.
Francis could easily carry her.
Going upstairs, Jessica found a comfortable position in his arms and fell asleep.
In the room, after placing Jessica on the bed and covering her with a blanket, Francis was about to leave.
But at that moment, Jessica suddenly reached out and hugged his neck.
Jessica's soft voice, gently and sweetly, said, "Honey, I don't want to sleep alone. Will you stay with me?"
